THE PROCESS of adding new courses is also delayed while it's quoted that Google images is not available HOWEVER other apps have these and their database is updated so in TOTAL THOUGH THE APP IS GOOD ..NEW COURSES ADDITION SHOULD BE PROMPT.
THE MOBILE APP SHOULD ALSO HVE A FEATURE TO MAINTAIN A SCORE CARD WHILE PLAYING
Quick to respond to extensive remapping of an updated course
I played a course which had undergone extensive remodelling. My X5 watch was running an old version of the course, so none of the holes/ yardages matched up. I contacted Shot Scope and James was helpful in making the relevant changes. I provided all of the data relating to the new layout and yardages, and James has remapped the course. All points raised were responded to in a very timely manor. I have been asked to provide feedback on the new layout when I next play the course. great customer service.
I would like to see a software updated to allow Stableford points to be calculated and post processing.

Bad experience
I recently applied to have my course remapped. There were a few issues initially but I attached a copy of the new course scorecard with a plan of the course layout. They have stated that the remapping has been done and have asked me for a review as regards the remapping and how they have done. I couldn't download the new course onto my X5. After a few mails, this issue has not been resolved. I've deleted the app and reinstalled it several times, logged in and out several times and even tried to delete my account and re-register. Nothing works. My last mail to Cameron has gone unanswered. Frustrated with a capital F is how I feel but more importantly I now have an X5 that is useless on my home course. The lowest rating I can give is 1 star. How I wish I could give less. I'm now looking to purchase a rangefinder to give me yardages on our new course. Rest assured my new purchase will not be a Shot Scope product.

Two issues with brand new watch
Bought a V5 3 weeks ago and had two issues: Not syncing and the charge breaking. New charger sent out next day and advised to do a hard reset which has fixed the syncing issue. Very quick and professional response.

I had accidentally ordered the wrong…
I had accidentally ordered the wrong product... I quickly emailed their tech support and they were able to cancel the order before it shipped. However, it would be nice if you could chat with anm agent. I placed the correct order a week ago and have not gotten any updates on the status of my order. And thre is no way on the site to look it up.
Warning! - H4
Warning! I recently purchased an H4 device. Many years ago I studied sport science and was excited with the potential of the new tech - the h4 to map my ‘real’ shots coupled with a non-watch or phone seemed ideal. On my first round with H4 I thought I would use it for gps. I used the belt clip, with the device synced up to the round, and off I went. I used the gps for the first couple of holes then the gps on my trolley for the next few, but then needed to use the H4 again. Sadly there was no H4 attached to the belt clip. It had obviously detached itelf somewhere over 3 holes and was nowhere to be found. I was devastated - first day out and it had failed, doing exactly the thing I needed it to do. I felt I had not done anything wrong but somehow lost a product using it exactly as recommended. The magnet is simply not robust/strong enough to reliably hold the device (and I am not the first to report this, I note from other reviews). I contacted the company for their comment and was offered a 25% discount on full price items as a "gesture of good will". I informed them that I have subsequently found that an app will give me the GPS I need, but what I still miss and what I had wanted from the H4 was the tagging. Obviously my remaining H4 tags don’t work with the app on their own but ShotScope's other tags do. They, however, were on sale on the website (UK) at 50% off (£49), and therefore the goodwill offer for non-reduced items was no use here! I proposed they revised their offer and e.g. offered me the other app tags by means of compensation for the poor design of the H4, which is actually not fit for purpose, but I received no further reply. Most disappointing "service".

They just don’t care
Just received an email to say it’s delayed again.
Like many other reviews, I was expecting the LM1 in April. This continuation of telling paying customers that they were in batch 2 is truly unprofessional. It’s an easy way to circumvent any sort of responsibility. I had never heard of shot scope before the LM1 and I have played golf for 30 years.
This has truly been one of the worst experiences of a pre purchase you can imagine. The company has demonstrated a lack of any sort of loyalty to the ones that paid out early.
All I see is videos of people who have bought them recently. Awful, awful awful.

My home club was not correctly…
My home club was not correctly displayed. After a few emails they changed it and everything is perfect now.
The only downside of the app is the handling with the phone. But I think it is the fault of my phone, not the app.
Uploading problem
Had a problem uploading my score on to the app. The service team came back promptly to solve the problem.

I advised Shot Scope about my home course being totally rerouted. They quickly responded and attempted to revise the software. Apparently Google Maps has not updated their site for the course. Not just settling with this, they reached out to Google to revise their maps asap. That's a company who responds to customer concerns, and does it quickly!
