These offer everything but deliver little.
The benifit of the vacuum is it is cordless and that's where it ends.
The suction is exceptionally poor these will not pick up a dropped peanut, they will also lift and move objects making your job a waste of time, seeing a piece of dirt from the kitchen then dropped in the living room is extremely frustrating.
Then there is the constant cleaning of the filters this has to be done every two weeks or it simply reduces the functionality of the vacuum.
Using the tools that come with it are also a let down because of the substandard power the best this will pick up is brick dust.
On carpet it is such a let down our kids often come home from playing on AstroTurf and the little black pellets are always left the vacuum will just about get rid of these or will dump them somewhere else.
Then we have to talk price, for what it is the convenience of cordless is not worth it you can get a much better option with a corded Vacuum and for far less money.
Until they make these that compare with corded I will give them a wide birth.

Very poor replacement process and unclear communication
I’m extremely disappointed with Shark’s handling of a faulty product replacement.
I was initially told I would receive a replacement vacuum, but at no point was it made clear that this was dependent on returning the faulty item first. Only later was I instructed to send it back. I followed the instructions given and returned the vacuum via DPD, but I was only provided with a collection number — no tracking reference — meaning I have no way of confirming where the item is or whether it has been received.
Despite explaining this multiple times to customer support, I keep being asked for information I simply don’t have. This has resulted in delays, repeated emails, and no clear next steps.
I’ve now been without a vacuum for several days, with no confirmation of when a replacement will be shipped. The lack of clarity, ownership, and proactive communication has made this a very frustrating experience. I expected far better from a brand like Shark.
Shark appropriate name for this Company

Doesn't seem to work properly on carpet with a pile
After dissatisfaction with my Dyson, I asked my friends what they use & 4 out of 6 recommended a Shark, so I bought a IP1251UKT. From the word go it wouldn't move on certain areas of my carpet & I have to pick it up when it reaches these places which makes it very hard work, my carpet is old and due to be replaced in the near future. In 2 places where we have carpet tiles the hoover is fine. A friend said it's supposed to adjust but it doesn't. I contacted Shark & explained the problem (online chat thing) & I can't fault the customer service, a replacement top bit arrived the next day, however this has made no difference. I'm concerned it wont work properly on a new pile carpet, and plan to give it to my daughter and go back to a Miele cat & dog (not cordless) which always worked perfectly for me. I am in my mid 70's and really don't need this hassle and I'm very disappointed

Bought a handheld vacuum, but disappointed with it's capacity, ease of use, and takes a long time to charge up..
The vacuum is less than 4 years old but…
The vacuum is less than 3 years old but is not picking up much of the material. I am disappointed that it works much less efficiently than my old corded vacuum which is much older. I do the hoovering but end up with the house not looking like it's been hoovered. It has been regularly maintained but this seems to have made no difference.
Bad service
Shark have yet to reimburse me on an order from nearly three weeks ago. Disgraceful customer “service” ?
They have even had the cheek to ask me for a review. Serves them right !
I cannot recommend this vacuum Shark BU3521UK
At the beginning, everything worked perfectly. The battery was charging properly, and the vacuum has always been kept on its stand, constantly connected to the power supply.
However, after about two months, problems started. The running time became shorter and shorter. At first, I tried to justify it — maybe it was because I was using a stronger suction mode or vacuuming more thoroughly. I kept finding different explanations for it.
But for the past month, the situation has become much worse. Whenever I take the vacuum off the stand, the battery is not charged — even though the stand is still plugged in all the time. I honestly don’t know whether the battery no longer holds a charge or if there is some kind of connection issue with the charging dock.
The result is that I now have to charge the battery before every use, even though it should already be fully charged and ready to go. This problem appeared far too quickly, and I’m very disappointed with the durability and reliability of this product.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this vacuum.
faulty after 3 month use
Ordered the handheld vacuum and after 3 months in it started making an extremely loud noise to the point it couldn't be used unless i knew my neighbours were out. I asked for a refund and they declined but offered a new one. Great i thought! and then approx 3 months later, the same problem happened. I then insisted for a refund and they refused and i haven't heard back since.
I have been more than patient, and the pattern here is pretty clear. A product failing twice in the same way after only a few months isn’t just bad luck; it points to a fault that the retailer and they should take responsibility this, but they havent. Dont be fooled by their fancy adverts.
Leave well alone
Bought the shark hand held hoover 14 months ago and had proved to a good little hoover except battery life was very poor,then recently though was always kept very clean the hoover made a unusual noise and stopped on investigation a load of fluff had been sucked in motor causing motor to overheat,reading the reviews I wouldn’t but another one.
The most pathetic excuse for a vacuum.
Bought a power detect auto empty pet model and it's the most useless bit of equipment I've ever had the misfortune to own. Suction is pathetic even on turbo. Edge suction is non existent. Anti hair wrap is good and the auto empty is handy, but as an actual vacuum it's useless. Going to take the loss and buy a dyson.
NOT free gifts
Hi all - after much research have ordered a Shark cordless cleaner - currently awaiting delivery, but hopped on here to let people know that the lure of free items when you order direct from Shark is a complete con! The wine, SMOL products and pet food offered is only free is you subscribe to a regular subscription and delivery. This is not obvious until payment has gone through and an email is sent telling purchaser this. I would still have bought the Shark cleaner without the free items BUT have been left feeling a tad cheated, as I've no intention of subscribing to any of these items. Sincerely hoping everything else I've read about the Shark cleaner is true.
The concept is good
The concept is good, but: the clear plastic waste container is impossible to clean properly, leaving it always looking messy. Worse though is that one of the wheels started falling off; I put it back several times. The suction is not brilliant though it is adequate (just); but the battery does not mean that a whole house can be cleaned in one go.
Shark Cordless …
I like the portability but it is unreliable, I had to replace the hand held bit after a year as suction was poor. To be fair, mine was still under warranty so customer services sorted this out, however the floor nozzle is poor and no suction. I debated getting the floor nozzle but that is £70 and the roller £20, so sorry Shark ill be trying another brand of vacuum.

Ive got a Shark Stratos cordless hoover which has developed a noisy motor. Just over a year old. Went through diagnostics with Shark. The customer support person waas really helpful. New motor despatched to arrive in a few day. Very friendly and efficient service. No quibbling or delays.
Don’t bother- may as well use a dustpan and brush
Bought the shark pro cordless, does nothing. Doesn’t pick up any dirt, or hair, just scrapes it into a pile. Pointless and fraudulent. Has zero suction.
Poor web site purchases process
Poor web site purchases process. Wanted to buy Shark Stratos Anti Hair Wrap Plus Pet Pro Cordless Vacuum [Double Battery] IZ420UKT. Ordered twice but Shark decided to cancel order without any explanation. Absolutely ridiculous customer support! Rubbish.
I have bought 3 shark hoovers
I have bought 3 shark hoovers.
I had a cordless hoover and a mini handheld one.
My main hoover broke and I decided to go with a cordless stratos, order took 8 days to arrive which I was surprised by but fair enough but it arrived with no charger for the battery. emailed shark and got no reply. Phoned customer service and after 30 minutes on the phone they finally decided to send me a charger, I asked could it be posted first class as I had now been without a Hoover for about 2 weeks and they said no, ( charger still hasn’t arrived ) I also asked could they do some small gesture of good will and got a blunt no…
Pretty surprised, can’t review the actual Hoover yet but Hopfully it’s not as bad as the shark service.
I won't recommend the shark cordless
Terrible vacuum, E7 fault all the time , only 15 months, never been that powerfull, and battery life not great, lesson learnt will go back to a tradiinal vacuum cleaner
