I would give no stars if I could. Item is badly fitting. Asked for refund to be told I have two options. Keep item and receive 20% off next purchase or return item for store credit. Utter scam. Should not be allowed to operate.

Dreadful quality,buttons and button holes don’t match up. Belt ties up across the pockets of the jacket?!?!

When you look at the returns policy it’s just not worth the hassle so a wasted £40.

Where do I begin? Oh let’s start with the want to change crazy money for temu material shapewear. They also decide that you not only have to PAY a percentage to them to return but also are responsible for return postage fees as well. $70 ( one thing) pretty much wasted and lost on my end. And if you do decide to “return” after their 10 percent fee being pulled and the postage you had to pay you only get store credit not an actual refund. Don’t make my mistake and be me. Run the other way now

Horrible return service. The company should give a better explanation of their return process on their website. They try to bargain the return rate they give you. Just go with Skims or another shapewear, that allows you to return for a refund. I would have never purchased from them had I known.

Absolutely disgraceful company. Do not buy from this lot. It's a scam.
I ordered a swimsuit which took over 2 weeks to arrive and when it finally did was far too small and despite having told them I couldn't even get it on and the hygiene sticker is still intact they absolutely insist they don't accept returns and will not give you a refund.
After a whole week of emails to and from the bad customer service leaves you feeling overwhelmed and distressed.
They try all sorts of different tactics, first they imply they're trying to save the planet by not accepting returns. Then they say they're doing you a favour by saving you the hassle and trip to the post office. Then they say they can't accept returns of items that are of an "intimate nature". If what they're selling is mostly swimsuits and similar on the website then this lot never accept returns and give refunds.
They deliberately delay communication and after a whole week of emails to and from and trying to argue my point I managed to get a 50% refund and get to keep the poorly sized swimsuit which would only fit a child but they insist they're doing you a favour again as we can sell this on! They're unbelievable.

Beware you CANNOT return items easily ... it does not state clearly that alot of the products cannot be returned..which is a scam. The site could easily have ot programmed that an alert for non returnable items is flashed up at purchase but it does not in order for you not to know that it cannot be returned and then they hide behind a policy which is hard to find.!! Dont buy from them

SCAM - Terrible company - avoid at all costs!
I tried to cancel my order after reading the reviews and they ignored me and shipped it anyway, item is not as pictured on their website, I ordered boost shorts with a low v back for my wedding underwear, item is no where near as low back as the image on their website, I initiated a return and they advised I could only have a ‘store credit’ I reminded them of my consumer rights in the UK and now they have decided I can have a full refund if I cover return shipping costs and import taxes to the US! Absolute scam of a company, DO NOT ORDER

Their customer service team stepped in to help when I ran into an issue with returning two items. After a few emails they ended up being really helpful and resolved my issue. They do have long shipping timeframes which I wasn’t aware of and a very short timeframe for returning or exchanging items so keep that in mind if you order from them.

The company needs to do better!! Their delivery service is terrible. I’ve made an order on June 10, 2026 for a black shape swimsuit/ thong. It’s now the 22nd of June and I have yet to receive my order. Every time I check it keeps showing that it was last located in Naperville, IL. It’s been there for over a week. I’ve reached out to them via email, haven’t heard back from them. This is ridiculous. Nobody should have to wait so long in order to receive an item they’ve paid for. I’m going on vacation in another week and doubt I’ll have my swimsuit by then. Thank God I have 2 other swimsuits I’ve ordered from other companies and already received them . This is by far the worst experience I’ve encountered. If I would have known they take forever to deliver, I’d NEVER would have ordered from them . ShapeBoo needs to do better as far as delivering to customers at a timely matter. I will NEVER order from this company again!

I recently ordered a bodysuit from Shapeboo, and to say I am incredibly disappointed would be a massive understatement. From the moment the transaction went through to the absolute headache of dealing with their support team, this has been hands-down one of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had.

## 🧵 The Product: Misleading Marketing & Damaged Goods
Shapeboo heavily markets this item as high-quality "shapewear" designed to give you a flawless look under clothing, but the reality is a complete letdown.
* **Zero Support:** The product description explicitly promises abdominal smoothing and compression for the cups. In reality, the material has virtually no structural integrity. It just sits loosely on the body without providing any of the promised lifting, contouring, or support.
* **Abysmal Packaging:** For a brand that charges premium prices and expects customers to "lay the shapewear flat or roll it in a drawer" for proper care, their own transit standard is cheap and lazy. The bodysuit was jammed into a flimsy plastic shipping bag.
* **Ruined Foam Cups:** Because of the poor packaging, the foam cups arrived severely bent and badly crinkled right out of the bag. Because the structure of the cups is warped, it is impossible to wear this under a dress without the visible lines and wrinkles completely ruining the silhouette.

The order itself was actually placed by accident. Realizing the error immediately, **I contacted customer service to cancel the order just two minutes after it was placed**.
Instead of halting the order, Shapeboo shipped it anyway. When confronted, support claimed that their system is fully automated to fulfill orders as quickly as possible, meaning it was locked by the warehouse instantly and "could not be stopped". It is incredibly frustrating that a company’s automated system takes precedence over a customer's immediate plea to fix a mistake.

When the unwanted package arrived, the fight for a standard refund truly began. Dealing with Shapeboo’s support team has felt less like customer care and more like a series of manipulative traps designed to keep your money.
### 1. Guilt-Tripping and Hidden Fees
First, they tried to convince me to keep the unwearable item under the guise of "helping the environment" by offering a 20% gift card to shop with them again. When I refused and pushed for a return, they hit me with their hidden terms: they insisted they would deduct a **10% handling fee**, make me pay out-of-pocket for return tracking, and issue the remaining balance only as **Store Credit**.
### 2. Shifting Policy Excuses
When I demanded a full refund to my original payment method, their support team suddenly changed their tune and tried to claim that because the bodysuit "functions like a thong," it was **completely ineligible for a return** under a strict health and hygiene policy. They claimed they were doing me a "special favor" by offering store credit.
The problem? Their website's "Delivery & Returns" section broadly states they gladly accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of delivery, without explicitly warning customers about these hidden hygiene restrictions at the time of purchase.

Despite making an error by ignoring a 2-minute cancellation notice and delivering a faulty, misdescribed item—which according to their own rules means they should cover return costs—they flat-out refuse to issue a prepaid label or return my money to my bank account.
Under UK consumer law and the standard right of withdrawal, customers are entitled to a full refund to their original payment method for items returned within 14 days. Shapeboo seems to think its internal policies override basic consumer rights.

The product is poor quality, the packaging is cheap, and the customer service operates on rigid, automated scripts that work against the consumer. I have had to escalate this issue to my bank to initiate a formal chargeback just to get my money back.
**Do not buy from Shapeboo.** There are plenty of reputable shapewear brands out there that actually provide functional support, package their products safely, and won't hold your money hostage if something goes wrong.
UPDATE: Fortunately at the end I received my money back and was offered to keep the item for free which I'll be donating to charity

By far the worst company I have ever dealt with, £75 for an item that I have found on shein for £10, horrible shapewear that gives a really lumpy figure, totally not as pictured or described therefore under UK law I am legally entitled to a free return and refund to my original payment method, company are refusing to comply with this and only offering a return that I would have to pay for postage to china plus import fee's to only get a refund in store credit, needless to say I do not want to make another purchase from them, in order for them to 'consider' complying with UK law they are demanding I send them a video of me wearing the underwear and moving my body so they can 'see how it fits', complete violation of privacy laws, I have already sent them pictures as evidence of the issue, seriously avoid this company it's basically a scam
