So dissatisfied as ordered three pair of the sunglasses. On the order email it showed 3 cases at $8.00 each.
That was not on my order. I do not want their cases! Be careful and reread your order before the purchase.

Pretty sure my glasses were broken some how in shipping. Not poor quality at all. They’re replacing them no questions asked. Definitely satisfied with my experience with ShadyRays!

When it was time to begin my hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, I knew Shady Rays were the sunglasses I would need. So, I bought a second pair (just in case).

Now, I am about to begin a 17k mile/27k km motorcycle exploration of South America and Shady Rays will be there again. The only question I have is, which style?

Product shows delivered 2 days ago and I still have not received anything
Called customer service and get no answer. Sent multiple emails with no reply

Sunglass longevity limited to maybe one and a half summers... Ordered the Calimesa style, which suit my face nicely and generally a really lovely style.
First pair, arrived quickly, impressed initially. Halfway into second summer, the outer lens colouring started to scrape off into black scratch marks, and the white frames started to grow dirty and sticky and the coating peeling off (difficult to describe, but no amount of cleaning can help this, they start to look manky and horrid.)
Ordered the replacement pair as I was within the "lifetime warranty" period. This cost a tenner for P&P but hey I needed new shades and I did like the style.
Now the replacement pair have started doing the exact same thing.
Avoid these guys, dunno what materials they are using for their shades, but they're inferior as can be, clearly!

As others said I am also disappointed that these sunglasses are made in China because I was not aware when I bought them.

Really disappointed that these sunglasses are made in China. I thought that I was supporting an American manufacturer. I honestly believe that similar sunglasses could be found at a big box store for a much cheaper price. Yes, they will replace a lost pair for a $14.98 processing fee. Will not buy any more Shady Rays

I would highly recommend Shady Rays! First the product is exceptional and second the customer service is tremendous! I purchased my first pair of glasses a couple years ago and love them. Unfortunately one of the bows broke. I went on line to request a replacement pair and the process was very easy. For just a minimal handling charge I received a new pair in a matter of a few days. No questions ask. This company holds true to statements without a doubt. Can't say enough good things about the quality and the service!

Ordered 16 days ago and they still have not shipped

I am on my 4th pair of glasses in 18 months. The return policy is one replacement in 1 year. My original glasses broke within 2 months,they were replaced. The replacement pair earpiece broke & luckily I hadn’t thrown out my 1st pair&used the old glasses to repair the new. Then the 2nd earpiece broke, replaced from old glasses. Finally bought 2 new pair after frames on replacement pair broke. Now one of the new pair frames broke. They were prescription sunglasses & not cheap. These will be my last shady rays….

Buying and getting glasses not a problem.Getting replacement glasses big problem.Don't hold your breath

Warranty means nothing. Bought two pairs for a deal, both pairs of lenses are now damaged beyond use just from doing in and out of the soft case. Went to make a warranty claim and it costs more to make a claim and pay for shipping than I paid for the sunglasses.

I could forgive the quality is the warranty was actually what is says on the tin, but by the time you’ve paid the processing fee and shipping your replacement shades are costing twice as much as they’re worth. And you’ve already paid for them once!

This company makes a quality product and has wonderful customer service! I own a few pair of prescription sunglasses and a pair of non-prescription. They are all great!

I ordered a mystery pair as a second pair.

Upon arrival it's clear that the second pair is smaller than the main pair and so they don't fit. Reached out to customer services and I've been told there's nothing I can do. I read the no return rule but at least expect them to fit.

From Shady Rays, " Our Mystery pairs are selected at random during the order packing so unfortunately the size and style are unknown."

These are basically $2 sunnies rebranded as being quality by giving you a "lifetime warranty". They can afford to give you two replacements (the max they allow) because they are obviously made of very cheap material and fall apart quickly.

It's actually a really smart business model. Just a rubbish product.

I bought Shady Rays to try them out. I ordered the Camo sunglasses and added the $18 dollar option for the mystery pair. The quality is on the low end from the frames to the lenses. I have Maui Jims, Oakley, as well as my favorite which is Costa. If you want something that is slightly better than the gas station sunglasses, well buy Shady Rays. Should you want quality sunglasses....Get Costa, Maui Jim, and Oakley in that order.

I have had several pairs of Shady Rays sunglasses and recently ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses and a pair of prescription glasses. Both arrived earlier than expected and the quality of the lenses and frames were so much better than what my ophthalmologist had to offer. I would love the share my experience with others.

Bought a pair of Shady Rays because their marketing and “hassle free replacement” swayed me. Sadly, my first paid broke after only 2-months. I went through the process to get a “free replacement” pair and the entire process was an overly salesy attempt to get me to buy more pairs. They ended up charging $15 for shipping and “sales tax” on a “free” item. When the next pair arrived, one of the arms snapped off within less than 2 weeks!! This was just from me opening them to place them on my head - nothing extreme. It didn’t even break at the hinge like you would expect, but in the middle of the thickest part of the arm. I am going through the hassle of paying $15 to get one more pair.

The “polarized lenses” also did not block sunlight as well as other pairs I have had. In the end, I will have spent close to $100 for 3 pairs of cheap and low quality sunglasses. Think I would have come out ahead if I had just grabbed a pair from a gas station or big box store.

Or maybe I should have paid attention to the saying that “The bitterness of low quality lingers long after the sweetness of a cheap deal.”
