this alarm works exactly as intended... unless your computer doesn't stay lit all night long
this alarm works exactly as intended. unless your computer has some sort of sleep mode function, because the alarm stayed totally silent until i clicked my mouse two hours after I was suppose to wake up for school.

Hello Clare, sorry to hear that. As a warning on our homepage says - in order to make proper use of the alarm your computer must be kept running and the browser's tab must not be closed. We are not able to change your energy saver settings on your computer, but if browsers's tab with our alarm is active, then we are able to use some special techniques which try to prevent computers to go into sleep mode. This feature probably does not work on all browsers/devices, but in most cases it should work.
So the best solution is to change your energy saver settings on your computer. Other solution is just to keep browser's tab with our alarm active and it will also probably work.
you are the best in the world.

Svar fra Set Alarm Clock
Hello Emma, thank you for using our alarm.
Our alarm depends on your computer time, one of the possible reasons could be that your computer time was not synchronized properly.
In order to make proper use of the alarm your computer must be kept running.
Some mobile devices are also blocking audio when browser is in background mode or when device is locked, so that could be also the reason.
If you think that this is not the problem, please send us more info regarding this issue (e.g. your device, oparating system, browser version, what exactly did you do and what exactly happened, screenshots,...) to our email info@setalarmclock.net, so we can investigate this issue. Thank you!
