Hi Leah, so with another words - the alarm service worked 100% exactly like expected, you just don't like the selected sound. It is maybe a little bit strange sound, but e.g. some people who have toddlers are very sensitive to crying so this sound could be effective way how to wake them up, even if they are heavy sleepers. You have more sounds to choose, I suggest don't use sounds which you don't like.
it is terribble because when its close…
it is terebale because when its close it does not work or make noise

Hello Andrea, sorry for any inconvenience, but it is standard behaviour - if any website is closed, all scripts are terminated, they could not work. It is similar with our online alarm website. In order to make proper use of the alarm your computer must be kept running and the browser's tab must not be closed. Please read basic instructions and warnings on our homepage to avoid common mistakes.

The alarm sound
Because I think that the alarm should have a sound preview because I didn't know what the sound was and it sounded like the siren from the holocaust but my neighbours are Jewish so before I had time to figure out what happened the siren was going so I had to shut down the laptop just to turn it on again to mute the computer

One flaw, but the rest good!
only downside: when you are finished with the timer you get sent to a thank you page immediately. so if you want to have a back to back timer, for gym example, you have to go back to the main site.

Test feature is a distinct advantage
Good. Snooze feature works well too. Sound can be a bit louder. Wish it had feature to work while the laptop is in sleep mode like alarms do in mobiles when it is switched off.

Hello Pronay, thanks for your review. We agree, it would be great if it has such a feature, but unfortunately we can not do that.
this is a great feature but
this alarm clock is great It works well and I can always trust it to ring on time the sounds are mostly pleasing but when trying to wake up for a person like me I would probably not wake up if I was listening to the forest or a music box however if I had any of the alarms or the baby screaming the house next door would think I was a psychopath otherwise this is a great feature and saves me money from having to buy an alarm clock

Hello Vanessa, thanks for your review. We recommend testing alarm before using it, so you can avoid similar problems with sound (too quiet, too loud, muted... ).
There are 2 simple general options for adjusting your maximum sound level for your applications:
1. Speakers - All computer speakers have a volume knob that can be adjusted usually on the front of the speaker. Moving that knob to the left turns down the main speaker volume.
2. Taskbar - Click the sound icon on the taskbar that looks like a speaker. In the small window that appears, drag the volume down to turn down the sound. To turn it back up later, you can follow the same procedure and drag the slider up to the desired volume level.
We are not able to override your computer sound limits or turn on your speakers, alarm stars almost muted and it goes slowly up to maximum sound possible - the simplest ways how to control these limits are described above.
Thanks.
GOOD BUT 1 PROBLEM...
It's really good for planning times so really recommended for anyone who wants to keep a fair schedule. Make sure the sound is turned on quite loud; even when the volume is at it's highest it sometimes maybe a bit quiet.
