Went for a dental clean today and Hannah was excellent, making sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. Very gentle and offered breaks to catch my breath.... excellent service
45 minutes late to the initial…
45 minutes late to the initial consultation, then spent around two minutes explaining the treatment and trying to sell the product saying for a discount I needed to decide to move forward that day.
Overall a very disappointing experience…
Overall a very disappointing experience both in terms of poor quality service and dental treatment. Some specific examples include:
1. Having an insufficient dental scan conducted meaning I had to return two weeks later for a follow up scan to repeat the poor quality one. This delayed my second set of retainers and my overall treatment plan.
2. Quite minor but I now have a small permanent scar on my forehead from where a dentist at the Marylebone branch cut me with his watching during a routine appointment.
3. Due to treatment delays outlined above (all the fault of the practice), my scheduled appointments to remove the attachments and brackets at the end of my treatment were then too soon. The earliest appointment I was offered was in 5 weeks time, meaning I would have a further delay to my treatment for 5 weeks and have to wear a weekly retainer for 6 weeks. In order to get an appointment sooner I was forced to make a formal complaint and spend a significant amount of time on the phone and emailing the practice, which was stressful and time consuming. I would expect that where the error is of the practice’s making, reception staff should be able to offer an alternative appointment within a week as a minimum service level.
4. My fixed retainer (metal bar behind my teeth) was so poorly fitted that it broke within a week despite my following all the instructions and being extra careful. I again had to submit a formal complaint in order to get an appointment to fix it within a week despite explaining that the break meant the glue and metal were stabbing into the roof of my mouth which was painful.
5. My permanent retainer which was meant to last a year also broke within a week, again causing me pain as it poked into my gums. Again it was an ordeal to get an appointment for a replacement. The reason for the break was again poor quality treatment in that the retainer had not been properly trimmed despite my asking the dentist at the time. I was quietly rudely dismissed by him which made me feel intimidated and uncomfortable and ultimately resulted in a poor quality retainer.
Appointment cancelled by clinic, last minute
Appointment cancelled by clinic, at the last minute. Was supposed to have a consultation, appointment booked, one week prior,. Was called on route to appointment by Sensu, if I could come in one and half hours earlier… Travel time to London Bridge is 2 hours. I said that was impossible. But could potentially get there 30 minutes earlier. They said we have to cancel appointment after discussing with Dentist!!!, (Dentist could not wait for me, as his time is worth more than mine.!!!!)
Absolutely unprofessional company. AVOID
