I was very pleased with this insurance. The Sensible weather team monitored the weather daily and kept me informed via email each day. There was one day on my trip that met the criteria and the pay out was made quickly and easily. No hassle!

Left me know everyday about the rain situation. We never know about the weather when on vacation, try to be prepared in case bad weather forms. Everytime your insurance is available I take it out. Is is very affordable and a great assurance for my vacation.

we had heavy rain on the last day of a stay at a campgound.....sensible weather said we were not eligible....I contacted them and they looked again and agreed and sent us a check....I will always use sensible weather for all my camping trips....

This was our families first time using the Sensible Weather system. I believe the assessment of the weather was very fair and the refund process was also very good. I am leaving 4 stars because it was the first time we've used the system but I would use it again in the future.

J avais pris l assurance météo pour un festival en plein air et il a plu des trombes pendant deux heures. J ai fait la demande sur l appli le lendemain avec mes billets et j ai été remboursé en trois jours sans discuter. Franchement je ne pensais pas que ça marcherait aussi simplement.

It rained on the first day of our trip to Cape May, NJ, and Sensible Weather refunded the cost of our room for that night.

I genuinely got money back because the weather was bad and it negatively impacted my experience! Genuinely didn't know what to expect when I signed up for it, but I will be using this again when offered.

I have used this company in the past and recieved compensation for rain. I feel confident that you do get reimbursed for bad weather. I have also disputed an incident when I felt that I should be reimbursed and my feedback was quick and the explanation was clear.

What a great idea. Sensible weather was so simple to use and it paid off for our bad weather.

We signed up because we made our reservations over a month before our camping trip and had no idea what the weather would be like. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a refund for one of our days when it rained. I’m not sure of the exact date but it was in the beginning of the week during the week of September 14-20.

The thresholds set for rain are too stringent. It can rain all day but if the rate doesn’t hit a certain threshold they will not activate reimbursement on hipcamp. I skipped camping during hurricane rain aok weekend and it didn’t active the refund. Imagine that.

We purchased Sensible Weather for a recent trip to South Dakota. Sensible weather monitored the weather and reimbursed for two days that we experienced rain. A good investment for our outdoor vacation.
