I am a UK patient writing this to warn others about my experience with Selda Centre. In July 2021, I spent over £5,200 GBP (paid in cash) with this organization for hair and eye procedures. Now, years later, I am left with failed results, a breach of medical ethics, and a total lack of professional accountability.

​1. The Hair Transplant Failure (See Evidence Images):

I was promised a "full head of hair." After 5,000 grafts, the results are non-existent. I have uploaded a side-by-side comparison photo showing my head in July 2021 vs. April 2026. As you can see, the density is incredibly poor for a 5,000-graft procedure.

​When I contacted them recently, a representative named Nini (using Sarah Selar’s WhatsApp account while she is on leave) claimed my body "rejected" the hair or "responded differently."

​The Logical Contradiction: I have included a screenshot of our chat where Nini blames my "biology" for the failure, but in the very next breath, she states she can only help me if I pay them again for a second session. This is a transparent money-grab. If they truly believed my body was incapable of growing hair, they would not be trying to sell me the same procedure again. By demanding more money, they are admitting the first failure was their clinical error, not my biology.

​2. Breach of Informed Consent (Eye Surgery):

During my eye procedures, the team withheld critical information, only informing me of an "inherent problem" in my second eye after the first eye surgery was already finished. Had this been disclosed initially, I would never have consented to the operations. This is a massive breach of transparency and patient safety.

​3. The Accountability "Shell Game":

When I sought a resolution, the clinic tried to dodge liability by claiming the "company was sold" or they "moved hospitals." However, the owner Selda and the staff remain the same. I have included a screenshot of Nini admitting to my 2021 surgery history, proving they are the same entity despite their attempts to use administrative changes to abandon existing patients.

​4. Disgraceful Professional Conduct:

Rather than honoring their original promises, the clinic accused me of wanting "free" surgery for work I’ve already paid for. I have uploaded the screenshot of their final response, where they told me to simply "Sue them" and stated they would no longer respond.

​Final Verdict:

Do not be fooled by their JCI branding or VIP promises. They are happy to take your British Pounds, but they will blame you and hide behind corporate excuses when things go wrong. I have the full transcripts and photos to prove everything stated here. Save your money and go to a professional clinic that stands by its work.

N'allez jamais dans cette clinique pour quelconque soin !!! Après s'être mis d'accord sur les soins à prodiguer ( pose d'implants + 24 couronnes) et le prix de ces soins, ils ont modifié le tarif avec une augmentation de 1000€ . Ce sont des escrocs qui ne veulent que de l'espèce pour que vous ne puissiez pas justifier de ce que vous aurez déjà payé. Réclamez une facture avant de donner le moindre centime. En plus de ça, la pose de 2 implants est tordue . Si j'ai un conseil à vous donner : évitez cette maudite clinique.
En plus de ça, rien ne vous est expliqué. Ils prennent des décisions sans votre accord. Dans mon cas, ils m'ont placé 13 implants au lieu de 12 sans raison si ce n'est que pour augmenter leur tarif. Évitez d'y aller, évitez de vous faire escroquer

Mă numesc Ciocănel Daniel și am ales să fac implantul de păr la clinica Celia Center și a fost o alegere foarte bună,am fost foarte mulțumit pe toată durata procedurii,o echipă unită care lucrează cu atenție,punctuali și profesionalism.Recomand Celda Senter!

Very bad clinic, they absolutely butchered my do or area leaving horrific scars , they implanted double follicles along my hairline , they placed hairs too far apart, then when I complained they said I dis not attend their clinic, stay away from this place they are not qualified and will scam mo ey from you.

Unprofessional and unethical experience at Selda Center

Review:
I, Costel P, went to Selda Center in Istanbul for a hair transplant. During the procedure, I was told via a translator on the phone that I tested positive for HIV, without any clear evidence or official documentation—just a blurry photo shown on a phone screen. This happened while I was undergoing the treatment, which was extremely distressing.

Soon after, I was asked to pay an additional €500 to continue the procedure. The message demanding this payment was quickly deleted. I was left alone for hours without internet or any means to communicate, feeling shocked and confused.

After two weeks, the official HIV test result came back negative. I do not have HIV. This situation was either a severe mistake or, worse, an attempt to manipulate me emotionally and financially.

I found the behavior of the clinic to be totally unethical and lacking empathy. I do not recommend Selda Center. Please be very cautious if you are considering treatment abroad

EXPERIENCIA NEFASTA
Te mandan una oferta y cuando llegas intentan negociar otro precio. Si no has guardado los mensajes, estas perdido.
Los medicos apenas te explican nada, te pasan a una sala a intervenir y no puedes preguntar nada porque sólo hablan en turco. Cuando terminas tampoco te cuentan nada ni te hacen ninguna recomendacion. Te citan al dia siguiente y misma situacion, nadie te explica nada y adios muy buenas sin saber cono has quedado o que tratamiento tienes que seguir
Te ofrecen de forma gratuita en el contacto una serie de kits post intervencion y unos tratamientos que luego te intentan cobrar y no son baratos.
Te ofrecen un hotel en el centro de Estambul y luego estaa 40 km del centro y a media hora de la clinica. El hotel no es precisamente un 4 estrellas, a una estrella llega con dificultades y esta en medio de la nada. Cualquier desplazamiento necesitas taxi y son caros
Te ofrecen un taxi Vip, pero la conduccion es tan violenta que los golpes son inevitables...luego te dicen que la culpa es tuya y que tengas cuidado.
Del interprete nunca mas se supo.
Una vez que has pagado y te vas, no vuelven a contactar contigo. Se olvidan de ti y no hay mas contacto
En estas circunstancias, lo de garantia de por vida es jugartela
Desde luego no volveria a repetir y NO LO RECOMIENDO

Hace tres años que me hice unos implantes y al dia de hoy se me ven los tornillos estoy pidiendo a ver como se me arregla esto, y no tengo respuesta de nadie me dice la traductora que me daran presupuesto del los gastos a la espera estoy de verdad, me parece todo esto vergonzoso, no la recomiendo

După o perioadă de negocieri cu doamna Jeni, reprenzentata clinicii Selda, am ajuns la înțelegerea de a efectua un transplant de păr. Toate lucrurile au decurs bine și operația la fel. Am primit pachetul (șampon) și medicamentația post operatorie. După ce am ajuns acasă, dacă am avut nevoie sau nu am înțeles unele lucruri am contactat-o pe doamna Jeni care mi-a oferit toate informațiile pentru a avea o recuperare cât mai bună și repede. Mulțumesc Selda clinic și doamnei Jeni!

A very profesional team,i see the result from the second week of implant,it’s no impediment if you don’t know the language because they had very good consultans especialy Jeny who was the best.

I would like to share my experience to warn others about the fraudulent practices of Selda Center and their intermediary Süleyman.

After thorough research, I chose EMP Clinics for a hair transplant. I was put in touch with a French-speaking interpreter, Süleyman, and paid a deposit for a DHI procedure without shaving, including two nights in a 5-star hotel, with a total budget of €2,100.

However, after sending my flight ticket, Süleyman informed me that I would actually be treated at Selda Center, assuring me that it was part of the same group.

A Series of Issues and Abuses
Accommodation not as promised: Upon arrival, the hotel provided was a basic 3-star, far from the promised 5-star accommodation.
Different clinic: At the clinic, I noticed that the name was not even Selda Center but a completely different facility. Süleyman told me it was an "extension of the group" and that I shouldn’t worry.
No transparency on graft count: After the transplant, the technicians informed me that 4,500 grafts had been implanted. However, my certificate states 5,0
00 grafts, and it even contains a spelling mistake in my name.
No medical follow-up: The day after the procedure, Süleyman was absent. I had to go back to the clinic alone to remove my bandage, with no instructions or post-procedure guidance.
Chaotic departure: I was supposed to receive a post-transplant shampoo, but instead, I was sent straight to the airport without it. The driver took me to the wrong airport, and I nearly missed my flight by just 10 minutes.
Overpriced product sales: Süleyman sold me post-op care products for €250, whereas they are listed for €200 on Selda Center’s website.
No invoice and suspicious guarantee: Despite my repeated requests, I still have not received an official invoice. After contacting the actual clinic where my procedure was performed, I discovered that Selda Center does not own a clinic but simply rents treatment rooms.
Conclusion: A Clear Scam
Selda Center refuses to respond and shifts the blame to Süleyman.
EMP Clinics acknowledged the issue and refunded my deposit, proving that my concerns are valid.
Selda Center is not a real clinic and provides no proper medical follow-up.
As a result, I am going to alert the French Consulate and a representative of the Turkish Ministry of Health. Additionally, I have contacted French journalists, as these fraudulent practices are becoming more frequent, raising concerns even about reputable clinics.

⚠️ I strongly advise against Selda Center and Süleyman. They are not professionals and only seek to scam patients.

I am not questioning the quality of all clinics in Turkey, but I want to share my experience to prevent others from falling into the same trap.
