I needed some new pins and collars for my USA exclusive Seiko presage and could not find them anywhere. I asked Seiko UK's customer care if I could buy some from Seiko directly. My email correspondence was exclusively with a lady called Michelle who posted them out to me for free and was an absolute delight to interact with. She is a credit to her company, and Seiko is a credit to the horological world!

Prompt, courteous , and helpful.

I sent off my Seiko Kinetic Divers watch for a new capacitor and general service in November 2022, using Royal Mail guaranteed next day delivery.
On the 9th January, after going missing for 6 weeks, the watch finally turned up at Seiko UK.
Well done the Royal Mail, speedy service indeed!
Seiko booked the watch in on the 9th and on the 12th January they emailed me with a price of just over £100 for a full service, new capacitor and repairs/adjustments to the bracelet.
The bracelet was a bit of a mess as I used to wear it too tight and had stretched the links. I had also had a local shop fit a new capacitor a few years earlier but it was either the wrong one or it had been fitted badly as it wasn't holding a full charge.
It took around 6 weeks (same as the Royal Mail) for them complete their work and all in all, the watch now looks almost brand new. The bracelet looks really good, it keeps near perfect time, holds a full charge and has been a great watch for over the last 20 years.
My tip is that you usually get what you pay for, so buy a good quality watch, look after it and get it serviced regular.

I bought a SEIKO 5 sports to use mountain biking. I read about the reliability and durability. It became inaccurate in time keeping so I sent it back under warranty. They said that they would not honour the warranty as it had some scratch’s on the body and face. Well that’s what happens when you go mountain biking and that’s why you buy a sports watch.

SEIKO said I must have dropped it but I haven’t and even if I had it should be robust enough to take it. When I was writing this review, I looked at other Trust Pilot reviews and saw that SEIKO have accused others of dropping their watch’s and refused warranty. The problem is the SEIKO 5 Sport is too fragile.

I’ve not had issues with any other watch’s which include a Dunhill, a Timex and various Swatches. So the Sieko 5 Sport is not durable enough or reliable enough to use in Sport. The customer service is polite but poor.

In response to Seiko’s reply to the above. 30% of your customers give you 1 out of 5 on Trust Pilot. Either your product, customer service or both are not meeting their expectations. I strongly recommend that you listen to your customers.

My Watch was sent to Seiko repair work shop on the January 23rd they did not log it into there workshop until the 4th off February we are now just about too head into April, for a simple battery change and service this is very poor customer service from Seiko, had a word with a lady on the phone two weeks ago never done any good.

In reply as I have still not received my watch your reply makes no sense.

Response to request for repair was prompt and informative. Further review when repaired watch is returned.

An excellent service by Customer Services. My problem was solved within minutes, by friendly and very helpful staff. Well done.

Spot the difference? I did some research and the seiko 5 range of watches (one on the lhs) are of equal quality to the Rolex datejust? Can’t believe it myself- but I got a 5 in early Jan and it’s great (can’t fault it) - been wearing it everyday- I am also more comfortable wearing it as it’s only an entry level watch! Working on my nice (but value) quality watch collection- and this is one of them! 5*

SO FAR SEIKO HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL I PURCHASED A SEIKO MONSTER ITS A BEAUTIFUL WATCH BUT I AM UNFAMILIAR WITH THEIR PIN AND COLLAR SYSTEM AND LOST MY COLLARS I CONTACTED SEIKO AND THEY ARE GOING TO SEND ME SOME MORE WHICH IS A GREAT HELP OTHERWISE I DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE I WILL TRY NOT TO GET ANYMORE ON BRACELETS.

Purchased a Seiko sumo divers watch in August 22. It cost £750, have had nothing but trouble,firstly it was gaining 5 mins so sent it back for remedial work to put it right. It was returned in October,but by December was losing 3 minutes. Seiko have phoned me today and told me that this is normal. (Normal for a watch not to tell the right time). They also said it had been nocked which I know to be untrue as I’m unable to walk and spend the days sat down or on my mobility scooter. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I am and. have been. Don’t Buy Seiko

My father has a seiko for 10 years. They deserved this positive review!

I’m my opinion Seiko it’s the best watch raported to quality-price product, usually mechanism it’s ETA, wich it’s very good also the price it’s very affordable, very happy wirh my Seiko sport skeleton!

A very simple issue with my watch that I think should not be more than days to sort out is taking month. The colour on the face of my watch is fading off after using the watch about five times because I love and have more watches. Got a reply requesting me to select any of their model for replacement on a discounted price. I replied to send me the pics of those model so as to choose but got another reply that the company can not send selected models. I wonder how and what I would select from
