Was such a disappointment
Was such a disappointment. Rude staff very overpriced food. Shows were poor and just a very bad atmosphere. Paid for the beluga whale experience for my daughter and it was terrible such a waste of money and a day of our holiday in orlando. WC.260317.06.950.00011
Letting Kids See These Animals Up Close Is Important!
We took a trip to San Diego last week with our preschooler and our day at SeaWorld was the highlight of the week! We did the Dine with Orcas lunch and I don't know why anyone would have lunch anywhere else in the park! It's barely more expensive than a normal amusement park lunch, but it's a buffet (at least in San Diego, other parks might be different) and the orcas are right there!
We also booked an up-close encounter with the beluga whales, which was delightful all around! Our daughter is real into Raffi's Baby Beluga right now. She LOVED the whole day!
Too many people have let themselves be emotionally manipulated by a documentary that's designed to be emotionally manipulating. Try talking to the actual trainers and see them work with the animals they love.
Most importantly, kids need to be able to go to these sorts of parks and see these amazing animals up close. They'll fall in love with them and people take care of the things they love. So, I'm glad that we went and kindled a love of marine life in our daughter's heart.
We'll be happy to check out the other SeaWorlds in Orlando and San Antonio too. :)
Fraudulent Transactions
I got multiple fraudulent debit card transaction on Oct 27th 2025 that I am still disputing with my bank. $369.17 from SeaWorld San Antonio and $349.95 from SeaWorld San Diego. SeaWorld is telling my bank this is a valid transaction because SeaWorld has my Name, phone, email, billing address, and card info. All of that is public info except my card info, which was stolen. I have since disabled my Debit Card, but SeaWorld insists this is a valid charge. I need help from someone at SeaWorld to make this right.
A $200 Nightmare; Tech Failures and Filthy Facilities!
We traveled all the way from Norway to visit SeaWorld Orlando, and it was the biggest disappointment of our Florida trip. We spent nearly $200 per person on tickets, All-Day Dining and Quick Queue, but the "premium" experience was a total disaster.
The SeaWorld app refused to recognize our tickets all day. It kept telling us to "buy tickets" just to see the map or wait times. I spent the entire day fighting with my phone, which drained my battery and left us wandering the park blindly.
We paid for All-Day Dining but only managed to eat once. We waited 60 minutes in line for a burger and fries that were cold and tasteless. Because of the long lines and the fact that the pass doesn't work at the Food Festival booths, we wasted hours of our vacation standing in food lines.
The Quick Queue system is poorly managed. Staff let lines get mixed, and worse, they sent out roller coasters with empty seats while the lines were huge. It was a total lack of efficiency.
The restrooms were a disaster—gross, wet paper everywhere, and overflowing trash. It was disgusting and clearly not being cleaned.
Mako and Pipeline are great rides, and the Sea Lion feeding was fun, though it is sad to see the collapsed dorsal fins on the orcas compared to how they would be in the wild.
As international tourists, we saved up for this trip for a long time. To have our time and money wasted by technical errors and poor management was a big disappointment and I'm never gonna spend our money here again or recommend it to anybody.
Save the money and stay at home.
1/1/26 I love sea world years ago .
1/1/26 I love sea world years ago. But now the getting worse. Last night the Dj. Was horrible don't know how to mix playing 80 music. Dj. Ira I think. Very little employee.
I purchased multiple individual four…
I purchased multiple individual four for $25 Animal Feeding Stations online. Yesterday I went to SeaWorld Orlando with only one printed copy for a four for $25 Animal Feeding Station. This should have only printed 4 individual tickets but I noticed she was printing more. She stopped printing once I said something but at this point she had already printed more tickets then I asked for.
She printed 24 tickets. I only used the four I was planning on using. The problem is they all expired yesterday and when I called to get this fixed, I was hung up on. I called back was told if I gave an order number, they would get me a manager but then just transferred me to a phone survey. I am now on hold waiting for manager and as of this moment with no resolution. Has this happened to anyone else? And what are my legal options?
Not bad,but not good
Big lines. People drink alcohol.
DISGUSTING PLACE
The complete lack of regard for the intelligent animas is insane. Orcas, dolphins and seals are intelligent creatures that need 100/1000s of miles to swim yet are shoved in these small murky pools. No wonder they kill your trainers they’re being driven to insanity! They literally try to end their own lives. You are cruel, clearly unintelligent beings and the day they shut you down will be made a public holiday. Shame on anyone who visits and shame on the workers. If I had it my way I’d round you all up and stick you in tiny rooms to preform then leave you abandoned and unsanitary!!! Shame on you all.
Well first time back here in a very…
Well first time back here in a very long time, we normally avoid the parks as we just like to travel around Florida. Honestly I wouldn't waste the money to go. With our tickets we got the all day dining pass at all three parks.
All three parks were poor on food choices and drink wise only soda, which after maybe two is boring as well as makes you bloated especially if you don't normally drink it. In Sea World we went to the smoke house, 2 of us had chicken, which had blood in it, the reply from the staff was it's been smoked.... Not good enough and the ribs were gross as well, I'm pretty sure they weren't cooked neither.
The staff had a set frown expression in all parks, in Sea World I asked for a manager or a complaints email, the person I asked, didn't even look at me and just handed me a card which I needed to take a photo of.
Aquatica, just another nightmare with food, and as Sea World had given us arm bands for the dining which they shouldn't have done, we needed to go to guest services, for them to sort out Sea Worlds mistake, that took a while as a manager needed to be found. Food wise again limited choice.
Busch Gardens well I've never been so disappointed with the park, half the rides were not open, parts of the park were closed which meant you had to go back on yourself to find another part of the park.
On top of all of this, they no longer provide maps, and you need to use the app, which is rubbish, even the only nice member of staff I have found in all three places, agreed it was bad and the wifi cuts out around all the parks which you need access too to get the app working. On top of the poor customer service I've emailed Sea World about the pass, disappointing choices for the dining and the app not working and they have never replied!
This is just poor customer service at its best! I would honestly say pay the extra and go to Universal and Disney as they are worth the money!!
Don't purchase meal plans!
WE purchased an all day meal plan for our family. Restaurants are limited and closed 1 hr 45 min. before closing time for the park therefore we were unable to use the pass fully. Not worth the money!

Got in que for manta and it broke got in que for pipeline and that closed 35 dollars to park and got on 1 ride 17 dollars for a big sandwich it showed on the picture and got something the size of a tennis ball
Vi havde en virkelig god dag i Seaworld…
Vi havde en virkelig god dag i Seaworld Orlando. Vi gjorde brug af all dining og det fungerede super godt .
Disappointed
This park has changed a lot and it is more about the rides than the animals.
We purchased a reserve seat pass as our children are autistic and struggle with queuing and the Seaworld website lead us to believe that you had to queue for the shows and the reserve seat pass would reduce waiting time. However there aren’t queues for the shows and therefore you gain absolutely nothing from spending the money.
Due to the rain several shows were cancelled so we only saw 2 shows, the Dolphins were amazing and a delight to watch. The Whales swam around for a couple of minutes and then it was just a lady talking about the Whales. So was very disappointed with this and so were my children and the other visitors around me.
I remember Seaworld from the late 1980’s and early 1990’s and loved it, it was all about the amazing shows and seeing all the animals. Now it feels it is all about rides and finding additional ways to charge people on the day. I wanted to give my kids a magical enjoyable day there, like I hold in my childhood memories, but unfortunately lots has changed and it’s no longer what it was. Not even any reference to the whales of the old days which made it what it was.
I won’t be going back and just sad I gave the children high expectations and completely wasted my money and our time.
Unethcial
So disappointed to see the licenced capture of a large Manta near Panama City to be used by Sea World. This cannot be ethical. Upset me so much. Please stop this nonsence!
July 4 was the first time I attended…
July 4 was the first time I attended Sea World in Florida. I was super excited when I saw this advertisement on the SeaWorld Website for private viewing for fireworks and dining (buffet) at the Lakeside Grill. Soon, I and several other families realized this advertisement was deceitful with intent to defraud the public.
When we arrived, there was little food or organization. It took 25 minutes to get through the drink line, in that time they ran out of some finger foods before most of us got through the 25-minute drink line. It took another 25 minutes to get through the food line (what was left). We had 10 minutes before the fireworks. For $50 I got a small bowl of nachos and two tacos for our meal. Most of the guests registered and paid 24+ hours prior to the event-how is it possible not to have enough food? How is it not to have staff to provide a service for drinks (there was only one person manning the drinks.)
Next fabrication, with intent to deceive the public. 360 firework observations. None of the guests were aware that you could only see 50% of the fireworks from the facility. The finale was in the back of the restaurant not visible due to the trees.
I am shocked that SeaWorld supports this fraudulent advertisement and deception of the patrons who supported this event.
I am posting on all social media, sending it to the Attorney Generals Office and Better Business Baur. This is shameful and deceptive! I did not think that SeaWorld would support intentional deception of the public.
**Note: if you are considering purchasing a platinum membership be aware that you can’t use the quick pass on the new rides. That is HIDDEN in the fine print.**
Since the 1970's my family has been…
Since the 1970's my family has been vacationing in Florida, and Seaworld has always been a staple of our trips, we could skip Disney, or Universal, but our trip wouldn't feel complete without a visit to Seaworld for a pleasurable and memorable experience. Fast forward to vacation 2025 with our 2 day Seaworld pass in hand, on our way to yet a MEMORABLE but NOT PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE, we also purchased the all day meal pass (which is a must, should anyone choose to ignore my reccomendation of not wasting your hard earned money, at this attraction). In my opinion they are extremely understaffed, and the competence of most of the staff, is questionable. Issues included register staff trying to charge for items, included in meal plan, at lakeside grille ordered a cheeseburger that came with no cheese, staff went into kitchen, came back with cold cheese, placed it on now somewhat warm burger, at almost $20 for an unappealing and unappitizing cheeseburger (the fries were ok). At the seafire grille we tried to order a chicken sandwich, with everything describe on menu, without the bun (we're not at Kennedy Space center, this isn't rocket science) after 3 attempts at explaining without bun, I said forget it, got sandwich and removed the bun myself, sounds petty , but due the frustration, caused by the lack of competent staff, and staff in general it was just another straw on the camels back. The pictures included are at the seafire grille at around 11:30am, approximately 20-30 people waiting in line at serving area, other serving area closed, only 1 cashier, with another line forming to pay. Let me assure this continued throughout the day, at almost every location. The shows seemed mediocre at best, also the watersking show at the stadium, is a thing of the past it's turned into a
half-a$$ed DJ, inviting patrons and their children to dance, not the show I thought i was paying for. Seaworld management should be ashamed of the path they've chosen. DO NOT PATRONIZE!Seaworld has also gone cashless, and they add 5% for credit purchase. I assume this is due to lack of staffs compatance, or ability to make change, either way I prefer to pay cash, and shouldn't be charged for Seaworld taking that ability away from me, and others like me.
Our Last Visit...Not As Good Now
We went on 8th June while on holiday, 4 adults and 2 children, the youngest was 6 that day. We felt disappointed and let down as soon as we arrived - no Shamu statue to have pictures taken at, no Shamu mascot either. We thoroughly enjoyed the dolphins nursery, dolphins show and 3 did a dolphins experience and enjoyed it but $60+ each for 15 minutes and about 10 in a group....overpriced I think.
We were left deflated after the Orca Encounter, having seen the Shamu show when the trainers were in the tank and performed with the orcas the Orca Encounter doesnt come close to be as good a show. The show is based now on the environment and saving the planet, seas etc and you watch people on the large screen talking about this but I want to see and enjoy the killer whales performing, I don't see their performing as cruelty. I totally respect and understand why the trainers are not in the water but this show, for me, should be these animals entertaining the audience.
We were also surprised when we found out that the Clyde & Seymour show is no longer there and that was really missed as the mime artists were so funny and enjoyable to watch.
When queuing for the Atlantis ride we couldn't understand why no staff members were there telling you which number of lane people had to stand in so, at one point, people stood where they wanted and some carts weren't filled and then a guest got out the queue and was filling up all the lanes - this is ridiculous for a park this size and the cost paid to enter it - felt understaffed.
We had dining passes and around 8pm were told in several restaurants and eateries that they were closing and we could only go to a grill, I can't remember the name, and it was mobbed, queued out the door and the dining area and tables inside were in a poor state of repair, scratched, dirty, stained...it was not pleasant. I believe the food places should remain open all day as the park was still full of guests and one restaurant shouldn't have to deal with the amount of people.
I was disappointed that the polar bear was away, I did enjoy the manatees, rays, sharks and dolphins show; the 2 kids really liked Sesame Street. We all enjoyed the drone show but surprised there was another show with loud music so near where the drones were so it was distracting seeing 2 things going on at the same time.
Facepainting costing $22 is expensive but we paid it for a treat for the 6 year old.
On leaving we all agreed we enjoyed our day, had fun on some rides and liked some animals but won't return to Seaworld if we return to Orlando.
not exactly mind-blowing
The park looks nice, but overall SeaWorld Orlando just can’t compete with Disney or Universal. Ride operations were incredibly slow — it often took 4–5 minutes to dispatch a single coaster train. Even with a Quick Queue pass, we ended up waiting with the regular line very early on, and no one even bothered to scan our tickets. Honestly, don’t waste your money on it.
Pipeline and Mako are beautiful, smooth coasters and the clear highlights of the park. Manta and Kraken, on the other hand, feel outdated and a bit rough around the edges.
We also tried the All-Day Dining option, which was a letdown. The food quality was poor and the wait times ridiculous. At Seafire Grill, we stood in line for 15 minutes just to place an order, then another 30 minutes to get our food — handed out by a single staff member moving at glacial speed. If this wasn’t part of a prepaid deal, we would have walked away.
We didn’t get to explore all of the animal exhibits, but the sting ray section was a nice moment of calm. The orca show was fine, but not exactly mind-blowing — maybe just a case of inflated expectations.
In the end, it felt like a park trying to charge premium prices while offering a subpar experience. I’ve definitely seen better, and left disappointed.
Visited here 20 years ago and had good…
Visited here 20 years ago and had good memories. So decided to go back the park was far too busy with loads of school trips there. It was 36 degrees we got through the ticket stand at 9.30 then had to stand at a roped of area to be let through at 10am. It was like a stampede! Why not let people filter through gradually especially in such hot temperatures. Then the bridge didn’t open till 11. We wanted to go on infinity falls but that was shut off till 11am so another stampede. By this time queue times were really high so went on 2 rides and came away. Waste of money very disappointed 🙁
I was a season pass holder and…
I was a season pass holder and attempted multiple times to resolve an issue where I couldn’t access my passes. Despite spending significant time on hold, I was unable to get assistance. Seaworld continued to charge me for passes that were unavailable through the app or website, despite my repeated calls to customer service.
When I finally spoke to a representative, I was told that it was “my problem” for not driving to Orlando to check on my passes. I was also told that my passes were available and that it was my fault for not using them. To make matters worse, I was hung up on twice, and the representatives displayed poor customer service, lacking active listening and professionalism. No one was able to help me or even cancel the passes I couldn’t access.
I honestly just want a refund for the time I was unable to use my passes.
This experience was incredibly frustrating, and due to the disrespectful customer service interactions, my family and I will not be returning. A company of this size should prioritize customer service and accountability, yet my interactions showed a complete disregard for customers. Very disappointing.
