Being a first time buyer could be daunting. However, David White and Lesley Eltis made the process simple and easy from the very beginning. Great communication,advise and guidance were clear and comprehensive. David was always available and would make time as required. This is an absolute stellar service. My husband and I just purchased our first home using Scout Financial Services for our mortgage application and insurance options.

Our main point of contact was with Ashleigh. She helped us go through all the paperwork and get the best possible interest rate. Lesley helped coordinate with her, as well, to make sure we were constantly kept in the know. The level of communication was lovely.

Gary & Kelly both took time from their family in the evenings, so that we could have a chat about insurance after our own workdays. This was really appreciated and helpful.

I had a great experience with scout team especially susan and ross who delt with my mortgage i would really recommend them.

I have had the opportunity to work with this team (Ross Bowie and Sue Brown), and i am very pleased I took the chance. As a first time buyer everything was explained to me and broken down to help me to understand what I should be expecting and how this great big change will affect my life moving forward. I was not rushed into anything or into making any decisions I was given enough information and time and a lot of support to make informed decisions on this big purchase. I was never made to feel as though I had to say “yes” to everything, the team ensured I understood every separate aspect of the long and tedious process which I found very scary in the beginning; I however found the process went by extremely quickly and smoothly, thank you to Ross and Sue. I was always prompted to contact them if ever I was not sure on a certain matter or if I needed help fining out or chasing up something. Additionally Ross and Sue would check in during the process to gather how things were getting on by phone or email. Sue has been exceptionally helpful and supportive throughout and within the final weeks leading up to “completion”, she liaised with myself and solicitor frequently to make sure things were moving along at the right time.

As an individual going through this big change for the first time with the support of Ross and Sue I was made to feel like an expert in my case, taking into account I had no prior knowledge of this process which seemed like a monstrous mountain to climb at the time. Now here I am at the finish line courtesy of the support, patience, knowledge and skills of Ross and Sue. If ever in the future I should find myself requiring their services again I would one hundred percent be contacting the company to request their support. I would wholeheartedly recommend this service to anyone!

Brilliant service from Sue and Ross. I couldn't have done without them. Special thanks to Ross for doing 3 times a new application until I found my dream home. Tara, contacted me. When I asked where she obtained my contact details from and tried to raise a complaint and asked for their FCA registered number. They refused to provide this information or help.

Avoid this Company as they seem to be illegally obtaining Client data.

A formal complaint will be made to the financial conduct authority.

I worked with Charlotte Bakewell during my recent property purchase, she was brilliant from start to finish. Responding very quickly to any queries, being proactive, and moving very swiftly resulting in a mortgage offer. Even after completion Charlotte stayed in touch, helped arrange additional protection, and made the process much smoother.

Very prompt communication and did a fantastic job on finding the mortgage and insurance policy that was right for us. Absolute value for money, we couldn’t recommend enough.

David and his team did a great job of arranging my mortgage. They got in touch 6 months before it was due to be renewed and stayed on top of the rates to ensure I got the best one. So pleased as we had to get an offer and cancel it a couple of times as the rate was going down. The rates have now gone up so they have saved me a lot of money!

The service was professional from start to finish. The team communicated proactively when the sale was delayed and ensured everything was taken care of. I would definitely consider them for any future needs.
