I don't even know where to begin to fully explain how amazing this program is!
Our previous curriculum was very "vanilla" and didn't ask for engagement in any way.
Schoolio offers "bright shinies" as we call it to keep the kids focused! The videos are engaging and ASK the kids to participate instead of them just listening!
Last year was an absolute battle for spelling and language arts. My son loves to read books, but writing words out just was not his thing.
This year, my son watched the video, paused it with each new word, and *willingly* wrote out his spelling words for the first time!
No meltdowns. No arguments.
And then he asked to do more!
This program was crafted specifically for neurodivergent kids, like ADHD, sensory processing disorder, autism. It's inclusive of EVERY kid out there and doesn't make them feel "different". And as a neurodivergent Mama, it's been a lifesaver for me! We're actually excited for school everyday now!
Everything is easy to use, with an easy to schedule calendar, and lessons right at your fingertips! And there's extra curriculars and electives! I love the mental health electives!
There is no other program like Schoolio! And we are so proud to be a Schoolio family!

My experience with this company has been extraordinarily disappointing. Significant deficiencies are evident across virtually every aspect of the customer experience, including website functionality, communication, customer support, organization, and curriculum quality. These do not appear to be isolated errors or occasional lapses; rather, they reflect a broader lack of professionalism, quality control, and effective customer-service practices. For a company providing educational products and services to families, the overall level of execution is unacceptable and falls substantially short of what a customer should expect.

5 years ago I signed up for Schoolio for my daughter. The public school she attended had failed to support her needs as a disabled child with cerebral palsy (mild), Childhood Apraxia of speech, Developmental delays, and ADHD among other things. She desperately needed 1:1 and they didn't have the funding. They treated her as though she had autism (she does not), and missed the mark entirely on her education claiming she wasn't capable of keeping up without giving her the chance. With the help of Schoolio my daughter is learning! Her medical team is impressed with her progress and regularly praises her education. I have Schoolio to thank for this. Their fully customizable Canadian curriculum gives me peace of mind while also giving my daughter the supports she needs at the correct level. The support from staff is incredible and I feel like I made the correct choice with Schoolio. In a few years we will be using it for our youngest too. I recommend it to all my friends. Thank you Schoolio for what you have created! My daughter can read and excels at math and we would have never known that if we stuck to what public school was doing. The best part she is at grade level with many things and I was told that would never happen. You have given my daughter such a gift with the service you offer and a severely disabled child has proven educators wrong. She is capable and she can learn! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I highly highly recommend Schoolio. This is a real review based on our experience and I truly hope you give them a chance. I've left many reviews for them in the past.

Schoolio is a great school for my grandson he really enjoys the classes. This is the best homeschool we have done. I would recommend it to anyone .

We love Schoolio! We started with kindergarten (printed out, Canadian version) my daughter loved it! My daughter completed the grade 1 printed out curriculum and is now reading beginner books and is confident with simple math and numbers, shapes, money concepts and so much more! She seems very on par with her peers who attend public and private schools in our province. We have now had friends use Schoolio for their children as well (one friend who is an elementary English teacher and she LOVES the program as well) that to me says enough! We are ready for Schoolio Grade 2 and look forward to our other daughter starting kindergarten in 2027! They are responsive on their Facebook group and to email. We like the printout book as I feel writing skills are important and computer skills will come later. Love that they have both options!

Schoolio is awesome! Their customer service is amazing, very responsive and helpful, love that they offer printing and shipping.

The curriculum is great, especially for neurodivergent students. Including social/emotional and financial lessons is amazing!

Schoolio has been a great learning resource. The platform is easy to use, the lessons are clear, and the customer support team has been very helpful. I'd definitely recommend it to other families.

My kids love Schoolio! We did the offline program the first year and really enjoyed it. They then offered the digital version and it was like night and day for my dyslexic kiddos. They enjoy the shorter lessons and we really appreciate the extra practice work. New features come out all the time and the founders are so good to take constructive criticism and make meaningful changes. I really appreciate their Social Emotional Learning lessons, my kids have a really good grasp on naming emotions and using the skills they learned to navigate those emotions. I really appreciate the math assessments as well, they are helpful to see how things are measuring up. I also appreciate that I can mix and match grade levels as needed with the digital program, its nice to be able to customize their learning to them specifically. I really hope they come up with a high school program soon!

Best experience, highly recommend the free trial if you are thinking of OR already homeschooling and see if it works for you.

If I could rate my experience as zero stars I would. My daughter hated the curriculum, She would go clear through a lesson then it would freeze and make her go back through it multiple times before she could finish the lesson. I contacted customer service and they never responded.
I tried for 6 months to delete the service and unsubscribe. They still kept charging my card. I disputed it with my bank and somehow they still stuck me with $120!!! Tell me how I got charged when my kid hadn’t even used it in MONTHS AND I contacted them multiple times to cancel!!! Just today my bank told me they were going in the favor of schoolio on my last dispute. Thanks for screwing over a single mom Schoolio and Capital one!!!

Some things you should consider before moving forward with Schoolio.

I am sharing my experience with Schoolio, a homeschool program, to provide information for families considering enrollment.

1. Advertising and PromotionsConsumer Alert: Misleading Promotion & Refund Issues with Schoolio 🚨

I want to share my experience with Schoolio regarding their so-called “limited-time” promotion that is now advertised as “Try Complete Now and Save 50% Off Your Annual Fee.”
• I first saw this offer in July 2025, and it remained active through December 2025, despite being advertised as a short-term deal. Shockingly, it is still promoted as a sale today. This is a classic example of a “limited-time” sale that was never actually limited.
• The program was marketed as risk-free, but certain hidden conditions affect refunds and access to records, making the claim misleading.
• When attempting to cancel, Schoolio refuses to calculate refunds based on what I actually paid, instead using the full, undiscounted price of the program—despite my receipt clearly showing the discounted 50% total. Legally, a refund must reflect the amount you actually paid, not some arbitrary original price.

⚠️ Takeaway: This is a reminder to always carefully document promotional claims, receipts, and refund policies. Companies cannot advertise a sale as “limited-time” while keeping it running for months and then use that to deny or reduce your refund.

2. Technical Issues

During our enrollment:
• Some correct answers were marked as incorrect.
• Technical issues persisted despite reporting them.
• Suggested fixes or reviews of the platform were not implemented during our participation.

These technical issues affected the usability of the program for my child.

3. Account Cancellation and Refund

On December 5, 2025, our account was canceled by the program. I received a partial refund of $79.04 after paying $251.99 for 12 months. Based on actual access (111 days), the portion of fees corresponding to services used would be approximately $76.59.

4. Academic Records

After cancellation, transcript access was limited to 30 days. Some completed work was not reflected in the transcript, including work submitted via the parent portal. Multiple portals for children of different ages contributed to confusion in record-keeping.

5. Payment Information

After canceling the account and updating my credit card, charges were applied that were unexpected Feb 13 2026. My bank stated that the only way that they could've gained access to my new card as if they had a renewal subscription yet my account was closed and officially deleted according to them after 30 days yet 60 some days later I was charged $79.04 meaning that out of the $251.99 that I paid for services that I did not receive and they refused to give me my son's transcript I received $79.04 refund which makes no mathematical sense.

6. Summary

Families considering Schoolio may want to:
• Verify promotional offers and refund policies before enrolling.
• Check that completed coursework is correctly recorded.
• Confirm how payment methods are managed after cancellation.

This review reflects my personal experience and provides factual information about enrollment, technical issues, and account management.

This experience negatively impacted my child, who has autism. He initially felt like he had failed, but the issue was not with him — it was due to challenges with the program. Because we were unable to access his transcript and the refund provided did not reflect the fees paid, he now has to start over from the beginning. We had paid $251.99 for the full year, but only received a refund of $79.04, which does not correspond to the time he was in the program and then unable to access his transcripts therefore no services were technically rendered..

Stay away unless you want a headache and your child to learn they are wrong when in fact they are right. Since purchasing Schoolio right from the beginning it has been a headached. First I had US and CND Cirriculum mixed in and when I told them they spoke to me like I was an idiot and told me to choose CND which I did, then then realized it was an issue on their side. Then every few classes answers were wrong it did not matter what you did. even choosing wrong answers was wrong. I informed them and was met with gaslighting and told they insure that the program is correct umm no it is not listen!!! for months they refuse to listen and I have not been able to utilize the program or get schooling done due to the amount of stress it is causing both my son and I. I took a break and tried telling Lindsey and she refuses to listen and then when I state if she could not resolve the issue that I would be requesting a refund but rather then taking accountability and resolving the issues she refunds me 79 dollars seriously I paid for the year and have had for almost 4 months and have not been able to utilize the program smoothly and I only get 79 back. no programs for my son everything we did out the window and I get 79 dollars back is a disgrace! I complimented on how the platform could be given if they listen to the customers but they refuse. Stay away. customer service lacks and they will find a way to rip you off and blame you

Lindsey Casselman is the best support I could ever have from a homeschool school program owner. She comes with a wealth of experience, patience and compassion. She sets her parents up for success and is more than ready to jump in to help her struggling parents navigate her program. She wants to see her home school families succeed. I had a very serious brain injury from from someone else's negligence, so I was feeling over whelmed with homeschooling. Even though it what was needed for my daughter. Lindsay has made the transition for me from the regular school l system to homeschooling flawless and comforting. I'm no longer over whelmed knowing I have the support from her to help me along the way. This I will be always so appreciative of Lindsay being there to support me and making sure my daughters education is. Success. Love this as a curriculum easy to use, this will be our 3rd year. My kids enjoy it! Always quick replys for any questions or concerns! Deffenitly recommend as a option!

Took my money and I asked for it to be cancelled before the free trial was up and they still charged my account the $41.99 and still haven't received my refund. It has been past the time they said they refunded my money. Still nothing. I'm tired of being scammed.

Stay away from this company. They will take your money and wont bother answering your feedback or any questions in general. Im sure someone in their team will reply to this review to say that isnt correct but i assure you that wont be true.

Their materials are less than mediocre and not sufficient to homeschool or even teach your kids anything part time. I since found many other platforms more useful. Definitely not worth the money. Dont wate your kids time on this.
