Very bad and poor behaviour from the airport ground staffs Saudia airlines from Kochi international airport.This is the second time this misbehaviour is happening from the staff and supervisor also... 16/04/2026travelling from Kochi to riyadh...there are mention in ticket weight to carry is 23kg...from the airport they are refusing to carry 23kg and only allowed 20kg.There is no official email or message from the airlines....very bad experiences......the laggage is already rapped and again removed the things is very difficult to passengers...they are suffering in airports.so please any chances or updates just sent official messages to passengers....
Non existent customer service
Flight cancelled due to war in the area. They have promised a refund but then avoided refunding me altogether. Now gone silent. No response in 2 weeks.

Extremely disappointing experience with Saudia.
My flight was cancelled by the airline, and even a month after the cancellation, a proper refund has still not been issued. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a long and frustrating ordeal.
Customer service has been slow and inconsistent. Responses take far too long, reply every weekend, and when they do arrive, they often fail to address the actual issue. Instead of resolving the matter, I was given irrelevant information and faced repeated delays.
There is a clear lack of accountability and coordination within the support team, with no clear answers and no resolution despite multiple follow-ups.
This level of service is unacceptable for an international airline. I expected professionalism and efficiency, but experienced the opposite.
I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking, especially if something goes wrong.

I have to say - the customer service from this airline is phenomenal- I would book with them purely for peace of mind - I had booked through skyscanner and through third party flysharp - they were just not helpful cancelled my flight 2 times and it was 7 hour layovers somewhere else - I decided to call the airline directly - they answered within 1 min and assisted me to getting to my destination by rerouting me onto another airline -at no extra charge !!! This is what makes them the best customer service from any airline emirates is very close to them !

Par mail aucun retour donc à ce jour je n'ai toujours pas récupéré ma valise ni aucun dédommagement !
Mauvaise expérience je ne recommande pas cette compagnie et apparemment ils sont spécialiste de la perte de bagages sans aucun remboursement.
Online customer service doesn’t exist
The flight itself was okay, but online support or customer service does not exist. It’s a nightmare to get in touch with them. My account doesn’t work, I cannot log in, noone can fix it. They don’t have a chat with live agents, not email address to contact them. you always need to call them. I don’t want to spend money calling them for the 5th time regarding the same thing. They messed up my miles programme. I contacted them provide my frequent flyer program so that I can use the miles with a carrier from the alliance. Although this number was displayed on all tickets, somehow they transfered the miles to their program, which I even don’t have, and now I cannot get the miles in the desires frequent flyer program. NIGHTMARE.

Absolutely the worst airline experience…
Absolutely the worst airline experience I have ever had.
Our flight was delayed for more than 48 hours, causing extreme stress and disruption to my family. The support provided during this time was completely inadequate, and the compensation offered was nowhere near acceptable for what we went through.
To make things even worse, our baggage has now been missing for over a month and is effectively lost. Despite submitting multiple claims and repeatedly trying to contact the airline, we have received no response, no update, and no support whatsoever.
The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is shocking. It feels like once they have your money, they simply stop caring. We have been left to deal with the consequences, including buying essential items ourselves, while the airline ignores our case completely.
This level of service is unacceptable for any airline. I strongly advise others to avoid flying with Saudia unless you are prepared to deal with delays, lost baggage, and no customer support.

I recently flew with Saudia
I recently flew with Saudia from Europe to Kuala Lumpur via Jeddah (JED) and back. Overall, the experience in the air was excellent, though I encountered some frustrations on the ground post-flight.
The Onboard Experience & Outstanding Catering
The flight itself was lovely. As a SkyTeam Elite member, I was very satisfied.
- Catering: I have to highlight the food. Honestly, it was the best airline catering I have ever had—and believe me, I have "tested" many different airlines over the years.
- Comfort & Service: The legroom was good, and the crew was incredibly kind, attentive, and empathetic.
- Atmosphere: Even with small children on board, it was very quiet. They were exceptionally well-behaved!
- Note: Saudia is a "dry" airline (no alcohol), which I knew beforehand, so it wasn't an issue.
Transit at Jeddah (JED)
The transit process was super smooth. I was impressed by the security efficiency: no need to remove electronics or liquids. You just leave everything in the bag—Tip-top!
Customer Service (Pre-Flight)
Before my trip, I reached out via X and called their customer service. The wait time was less than 5 minutes, and the staff was very polite and helpful.
The Issue: Damaged Luggage & Missing Confirmation
The reason for the 3-star rating is that my luggage arrived damaged. I understand this usually happens during ground handling, but the claim process is frustrating.
I filled out the Baggage Claim form multiple times using different browsers and email addresses, but I never received a confirmation email (even in spam). I have now opened a formal complaint.

Final Verdict
I am very likely to fly with Saudia again, and I actually regret not booking a stopover in KSA this time!
I will gladly revise this rating to 4 or 5 stars once my baggage complaint has been satisfactorily resolved.
I purchased TWO BUSINESS CLASS tickets…
I purchased TWO BUSINESS CLASS tickets (for myself and my wife) from Islamabad to Riyadh (SV725, Jan 7, 2026).
Before the flight, we were involuntarily downgraded to economy class without our consent. No proper alternative was offered — no return to business class, no refund, and no clear explanation.
I immediately requested either to be restored to business class or to receive a full refund. Nothing was done. Even the fare difference has not been refunded.
Due to medical reasons, I could not travel in economy class, so I had to purchase new business class tickets with another airline for the same date and time.
I contacted the airline multiple times (calls, emails, Instagram) and even visited their office in Riyadh, where I provided all documents. I was promised a resolution, but nothing happened.
To this day, €1800 has not been refunded. The airline has taken the money and failed to provide the service.
I will now proceed with chargeback and legal action.

Extremely frustrating
Having tried to book with Saudi app(which is useless) and becoming frustrated at lack of support as was a tech issue.
I decided to book via customer service, which was outstanding and extremely helpful.
Once booked, tickets and confirmation arrived with in minutes.
Then I read the reviews which were not great, so I began to panic.
Having arrived at airport a smooth transition was experienced and staff were very professional.
Flight was good although flights attendants did not follow safety procedures and did not wear safety belts during takeoff and landing.
Flight attendants were ok but did bear
minimal and spent more time laughing and joking in the kitchen.
But on the whole a pleasant experience, just sort flight attendants out !
Pagamos espacio plus , no nos lo adjudicaron y sí cobraron
El último Agosto volamos con Saudia de Barcelona a Bali.
Mi pareja y yo pagamos un suplemento importante para disfrutar de espacio adicional en el vuelo más largo. Yo sufro de una enfermedad articular grave y lo necesito.
Nos adjudicaron asientos normales , tanto a la ida como a la vuelta.
Después de decenas de mails, llamadas y un pésima atención, hoy, 8 meses después no hemos recibido ni una disculpa, una explicación, indemnización ni siquiera la devolución del plus que desembolsamos.
Increible.

Horrible check-in staff in Jeddah airport with no manners, 2 adults and 2 kids all booked in same booking reference still gave us different seats numbers and I showed them different seat numbers for family the supervisor gets aggressive.

I flew with Saudia from Frankfurt to Riyadh in economy class. Booking was easy through their website, and check-in at the airport was smooth. The seats were comfortable enough for the flight, and the cabin crew were polite and attentive specially Miss Malaka & Mr. Meshari, super hoasts. The flight departed on time, which I appreciated. The food was delicious and plenty. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would consider flying with them again. Rating: 5/5.”
