Poor Customer Service Experience in Ghana.
I recently had the displeasure of experiencing subpar customer service from the Ghana branch of Samaiah shipping company during a recent international shipment.
This is all despite being a repeat customer over the years.
While the service received in the UK was exemplary, my experience with the company's customer service team in Ghana, particularly with Vivienne, was nothing short of disappointing.
Vivienne’s demeanour was extremely rude, unprofessional, and uncouth during our telephone interactions. Not only did she fail to address my concerns adequately, but her lack of courtesy and professionalism left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.
In contrast to the exceptional service always provided in the UK, the experience in Ghana was beyond poor due to the unacceptable behaviour of Vivienne.
Overall, while the Samamiah may excel in certain aspects of their service, the negative experience with their customer service in Ghana this time around, particularly from Vivienne, overshadowed any positives.
I expected better professionalism, unfortunately, this expectation was wild off the mark.
Considering the situation described, when a customer feels undervalued by one company despite their loyalty, another company has the opportunity to gain that customer's business.
