DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They take your money and don’t provide the service you pay for. They’re supposed to be specialists but don’t even carry the basic parts to complete the job.
When challenged they say it’s your fault and try and charge you again. Who in their right mind would pay 5x the cost of the dash cam to get it fitted.
Even the booking process was painful as the call operator repeatedly put me on hold to ‘ask’ a colleague.

Very friendly technician , was informative and hopefully has resolved the issue with poorly fitted cabling first time round

Don’t bother entertains this company,
Had 2 technicians out for my product, and cos they couldn’t fix the fault, made out I tampered with product, but have ring footage to say that box and product was faulty, joys of ring doorbell as they both stated product is faulty, but on report trying to slander my name,
AVOID COMPANY, not genuine technicians

Just had a re-fit of dashcam and rear window cam into my new car, so this was the fourth visit by RS connect. At all times the fitters have been on time, efficient, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

The Technician made a professional and neat dash cam installation. He was very approachable, knowledgeable and careful with the car throughout.

Easy to book , good call back to offer someone's cancellation. Fitted very quickly and professionally.
Downside no demonstration to know how it works just to load the app. Poor after sales help forwarded to an AI bot that couldn't help me. Had to go on many forums to which is still don't have answers to. You really do need to do better than install and go.

Really professional fitting cannot see any wires which I was concerned about. Arrived on time and nice friendly chap but have only given 4 stars because when I asked about connecting to the Nextbase app he told me it was really easy but unfortunately it wasn’t and in the end had to contact Nextbase and they talked me through it whilst I sat in the car. Unfortunately I think people assume everyone is tech savvy but not in my case, saying that we are very happy and would recommend.

From Kelly Galvin through to your engineer who came and installed our front & rear dashcam the dervice received was first class.

Can't fault the company or the engineer.

From beginning to end, I have nothing but good things to say RS Connect.

Booking in line was very easy. I was sent a proforma invoice and that has to be paid 72 hours before installation.

A time and date is decided and then I was updated with email, text and even a phone call to make sure things were progressing.

On the day, I had a phonecall from the engineer telling me he was an hour away.

Once he arrived, he got on with the job (Barr a couple of 10 minute intervals where the heavens opened up and soaked him through) and was done in just over an hour. The installation looks very good and he helped me connect the camera to my phone as well.

Overall a job well done for a reasonable price and by a reputable company.

Great fast service, friendly and knowledgeable

The guy who installed the cameras was amazing and so helpful… I was told by motorpoint that I would be contacted within a week of taking delivery of my car to arrange the installation of the cameras… this didn’t happen so I had to chase to arrange the installation … the call centre weren’t very helpful … they put the wrong postcode on the order so I had to get this changed but it meant that the guy installing the cameras had 2 postcodes… I asked if I could have installation after 2pm as I am not home from work till this time … to be told I could only have a day for
Installation and if the time didn’t work I would have to cancel and rebook…. It would have been so much easier if the installation had taken place at motorpoint prior to me collecting the car…

No fuss. No bother. And all in just over an hour. Wires well hidden. Happily recommend Joe for installation of dash cams

RS connect provided the best service as they informed the time the engineer would arrive and the installation was done quickly and professionally.

Easy to book , came to my home, text on the day from the engineer ref arrival time, tested my car battery, discussed camera location, result 1 hour later, fitted perfectly, very discrete wiring, what a great job, thank you

I would give Craig the engineer who fitted my camera 5/5. He was superb, arrived early, did a neat job, answered any questions.
The company? Not quite so good. I booked an appointment in advance for April 8th 26. They called me offering to come early, on Mar 29th and 30th. Explained that I was away. They didn't bother to turn up on April 8th and when I called I was told that they had sent an email on March 31st cancelling. I wonder who they sent it to, it definitely wasn't to me. Not a good recommendation for any company to lie to a customer. I did contact The RAC shop who hires them to install - nothing they could do. Thank goodness they have excellent engineers.

An easy booking process. The fitter installed front and rear cameras and finished within 45 minutes including a brief rundown on how the cameras worked.

Terrible customer service. Engineer lied saying he waited but instead just called and drove straight off then lied saying I wasn’t at home. Avoid having any fittings done by this company.
