A highly respected British silversmith and designer of the 20th century, Robert Radford Welch MBE, RDI believed that everyone should be able to use beautifully designed and made products in everyday life. Parcel was lost in the post and an immediate replacement was arranged
We chose delivery to our local post office but it was lost in the Evri system. Robert Welch then arranged immediate delivery of a replacement knife sharpener fitting. What service!

A lovely experience
This is my second purchase in the last 30 days. I was so happy with my first purchase; the delivery time, the packaging ( it was like getting a wedding present it was packaged so beautifully) and quality of product. I wish more merchants were as organized and thoughtful as Robert Welch Designs.

The product and customer service is exceptional
The product is exceptional. We are very happy with what we ordered, so much so, we ordered even more!
We had one small manufacturing issue with one knife - I contacted Robert Welch and this was immediately rectified and a replacement was delivered to us in Australia within the week. Robert Welch have raised the bar with their customer service!
I do not hesitate to recommend them - what a great company to deal with.

RW is superb and have been a lover of their cutlery since I was a kid in the 70's and 80's. Old Hall were the manufacturers then.
Honestly their cutlery is great quality and timeless.

Support not what I wanted
I was very disappointed recently because RE wouldn’t recommend a knife sharpener I could send my knives to as they have become dull and difficult to sharpen using their sharpener. They said the knives needed sharpening at a special angle which prompted me to ask for a recommended firm - no response unfortunately. I’m not comfortable sending them to any local firm.

As we do not offer a re-honing service ourselves or oversee third-party firms, we previously suggested searching for a local specialist to ensure your knife is restored to the highest standard.
