Quando inizia ad avere problemi. Contattando il venditore. Non sono capaci di gestire il problema. Ti fanno perdere tempo inutilmente. Problemi di scollegamenti, si blocca spesso mentre usi il navigatore. Sconsiglio di acquistare.

Absolutely horrible. They probably sell a lot of devices because they're the cheapest but I had to find out first hand why that's the case.

Two months in with their device and it fails. I contact them politely to claim the "warranty"... GUESS WHAT! THEY BLOCK ME!

I try to email them and they finally send me another device. The device arrives with a broken screen and obvious scratches all over.

At this point I was mind blown. I request to send both back for a refund. Blocked again.

The devices are trash quality and they have a lot of bots that routinely are promised compensation for good reviews. Not to mention the sea of guys with clapped out BMWs who are happy with these cheap things for a month but are too prideful to admit when they fail.

After all of this they have the audacity to offer me a 3$ refund to leave them a review? You gotta be kidding me.

Terrible. Bought one of these before purchasing another competitors item. The BimmerDirect MMI ended up being far superior and although they are Asian also they could actually speak English, provide instructions, etc. unlike roadtop.

The build quality of the roadtop MMI and screens shows you exactly why they're the cheapest. I'm convinced that they make these to con Americans/Europeans that are too uneducated to do research.

Do yourself a massive favor and get the BimmerDirect or Mr12Volt devices. Those companies are ALSO Asian but ions better.

It literally makes no sense to "save" $100 when you'll be forced to buy another device again when this stuff fails or when you realize it's abysmal. That's poor people logic and if that's how you think you have no business driving a BMW.

Oh yeah: Don't believe the good reviews. They tried paying me to write a good review.

I genuinely tried giving them a chance but once they refused to return the horrible product within the return period... They lost all favors.

Ich habe das Produkt gekauft und konnte es nicht final einbauen. Aus diesem Grund habe ich das Produkt zurückgeschickt. Leider habe ich nach vielem hin und herschreiben mein Geld nicht erhalten. Das geht gar nicht!!! Ich habe alle Vorraussetzungen erfüllt und dies mit Bildern belegen können. Jedoch habe ich nie mein Geld zurückbekommen!!! Jetzt ist mein Geld weg und das Produkt.

Ho comprato un monitor car play per una Mercedes classe c e devo dire che ogni giorno che passa sono sempre più contento dell apparecchio che ho comprato,assistenza da parte del venditore ottima l apparecchio a dir poco eccellente ottima grafica ottimo car play ottimo audio lo consiglio

Ich habe am 02.08.2025 eine Road Top Box für meinen Mercedes Bj.2018 gekauft. Die Einbauanleitung war leider für ein älteres Modell und musste da schon bezüglich der Bluetooth Verbindung Kontakt aufnehmen. Da wurde mir relativ schnell geantwortet.
Jetzt nach einer längeren Fahrt sind mir einige Fehler aufgefallen, Verbindung zum Handy bricht ab, keine automatische Umschaltung des Navis auf Nachtmodus, Handy versucht ständig auch bei Zündung aus eine Verbindung herzustellen, lange Bootzeiten usw.
Ich habe mich erneut an Road Top gewendet und mir wurde ein Update zugesendet (Link). Während des Updates wurde der Bildschirm schwarz und die Box funktioniert nicht mehr. Ich bekomme seit dem keine Antwort mehr auf meine Mails.
Vermutlich muss ich jetzt Rechtlich vorgehen...

Really good upgrade for 2015 Mini - Never looked in to upgrading my Mini to Carplay before as I'd expected it to be expensive, then came across this great little box. Arrived in two days and straightforward to install - taking about an hour. CarPlay now runs on my ten year old Mini, just as well as it runs on much newer cars.

Habe meine 12.3 Zoll Unit direkt bei RoadTop gekauft. Lieferzeit 2 Tage, gratis Versand aus D, kein Zoll, deutlich unter 200 Euro. Installation etwa 2 Stunden. Die Verkabelung ist super simpel, die Montage der Verblendungen im Auto etwas aufwändiger. Das beiligende Manual ist rudimentär, aber mit YouTube Videos alles ok. Eine Rückfrage an den Support wurde in unter 6 Stunden beantwortet. Die Qualität ist ebenso wie die (Voll)Integration ins OEM System (OEM und Android Auto laufen parallel, jederzeit umschaltbar, alle Audi MMI Knöpfe funktionieren) und Auto hervorragend. Die Funktion sowie Sound über BT ohne jede Beanstandung. Den Start-Screen habe ich angepasst, der Laie denkt, das alles zusammen ist original Audi.

Purchased in the UK, arrived within 36hrs from a uk warehouse. Well boxed and easy to fit using videos online. Good responses to emails, but do have to wait until next day as seller is likely China based. Definitely recommend.

I bought a CarPlay unit for my Lexus is 350 2020. Unit went in well but it came with the wrong LVDS cable, no worries the road top support person sent me a correct one free of charge express!!!! Installed it today and couldn’t be happier. Mind you this was off the offical roadtop website and not aliexpress or anything.

Cant give zero stars so this is the lowest i can go, bought a linux car play screen for my BMW, was working fine but had a small issue where the screen on start up would switch resolution, contacted Roadtop who were very unhelpful and didn't provide any sort of solution, then started ghosting me, will not be responsible for their own products or give any sort of customer service.

Produkt wär okay aber teilweise funktionieren Dinge nicht und damit unbrauchbar.
Der Support schreibt zurück aber will nicht helfen.

Awful company!! Ordered an item and it didn’t fit I contacted them and they told me return it and they will refund me my money! It’s been over 2 weeks and it has been delivered (I have tracking proof) they where quick to ask for their product back but now have gone missing and took my money with them I want my $180 REFUND!!! AVOID THESE SCAMMERS

These guys probably make a killing from poor people who have zero thinking skills.

We bought two units from them for our BMW as a review tutorial for our new car magazine.

Both times it was out of pocket and they ended up failing pretty early. They removed the listing from AliExpress so we couldn’t report them. No refund, no exchange, nothing. Wish we could post the communications here. Positive reviews here are 1000% fraudulent.

Failed after 1 week and refused to honor thier fake warranty.

Appleplay unit came two days after the order, when I thought it was coming from China and would take up to 15 days. They also told me I needed an extra lead, which they just sent me. Instructions all look very clear and not the normal translation problems.

I've fitted this unit now. Took about 3hrs. It is absolutely brilliant, everything is working fine. Great quality, great customer service.

Trying to get a refund off these online sellers is impossible. I've sent the equipment back and still no refund 😕

I’m driving a BMW 3 series from 2008. The user interface is clearly outdated. I have purchased the Roadtop CCC for my car. I thought I would install by myself but then decided it is better that a garage is doing it. Price for installation was about the same as for the CCC, so it was reasonable as I’m living in Switzerland.
There were some hick ups with the software as it shows that the hood is open, sound was on my phone and not in car BUT the team from Roadtop was very supportive! They shared tips via email and an updated Software. Took some tries but everything is working absolutely perfect. I couldn’t imagine that this change is such an improvement for the car. Really fantastic and I can clearly recommend the product from them.

I got one of the roadtop boxes as a gift and now I wanted to ask what reversing camera is compatible with it and they didn’t want to help because I didn’t have the proof pf purchase…. If I got it as a gift???? I didn’t ask for warranty or product support, I asked about camera compatibility as it is not fully explained in the description

Ich habe das Produkt gekauft und versucht einzubauen. Anfangs hat alles super funktioniert. Allerdings verfügt mein Audi über die Bang & Olufsen Soundanlage, die ein besonderes optisches Kabel nutzt. Dieses Kabel ist sehr kurz, wodurch der Einbau extrem heikel ist. Deshalb habe ich mich entschieden, das Produkt zurückzuschicken.

Doch auch nach mehreren Wochen habe ich mein Geld immer noch nicht zurückerhalten. Jetzt stehe ich ohne Produkt und ohne Erstattung da. Auf meine E-Mails erhalte ich zwar Antworten, allerdings wird mir dabei nicht wirklich geholfen.

Fazit: Absolute Vorsicht beim Kauf!
