I ordered the Orella mules. The buckles on this pair of Mary Jane-style shoes are decorative only--meaning, the strap buckles aren't actually attached to the shoe. Consequently, the shoes are UNSAFE because the strap slips out of the buckle and can cause one to trip, fall, etc. Rileyriver offered a refund of 30% for the DEFECTIVE shoes--"as a gesture of goodwill," they said! When I refused that ridiculous 30% refund, they offered to exchange the item with other items of my choice. The 2 sweaters I ordered in exchange arrived but DON'T look anything like the photos on their website. Wrong colors. Horrible quality. I can't even sell them on eBay because they have no labels. STAY FAR AWAY from this company. I know their photos are tempting--but I'd hate to see this RIPOFF happen to anyone else. WASTE OF $117 for items that DON'T WORK!

Despite repeated attempts to get the company to respond via emails and phone calls, I have yet to hear back from them despite waiting for over 20 days.

I’ve been trying to get response from them so I can return the shoes that arrived and are the wrong size.

Their customer service is lacking and by the looks of the number of one star reviews, I’m not the only one that Is Having this experience with the company.

I would love to have them respond to me so I can get these shoes back to them and my refund.

The shoes are beautiful, worth the wait. I bought 3 pair. Don’t order though if you need them quickly, 4-6 weeks delivery time.
My only concern is they squeak when I walk, but I’m hoping that will stop once They mold to my feet.

They sent wrong items three times. And now they are requesting me to return all three wrong items out of my pocket. I don't know what kind of business they are running. Certainly not a functioning shoe-selling business.

Super nice, chic and comfortable

Easy to purchase. However delivery took longer than expected. I like the quality but expected the shoes to arrive in at least a dust bag, not just wrapped in bubble wrap

Very disappointed in this company. I tried to return a pair of unworn shoes, still in their original packaging, only to be told I could either keep them for a 30% refund, exchange them, or accept store credit. Their website promises a full refund within 30 days — and I’m well within that timeframe. They are refusing to honor their own return policy, which feels dishonest and shady. Buyers beware.

This company’s customer service is exceptional, I had a problem with sizing and they have been wonderful! Also the quality of the shoes is exceptional!

I own 3 pair! They are beautiful and stylish and are just what I wanted. The leather colors are rich and smooth. I am a 7.5 and these are true to size for a normal width foot. If you have a wide foot, these are probably not for you.
The delivery wait is a process as these come from China. Be patient and be assured they will arrive!
I reached out to “Justin” on my first order and he responded right away.
This is a legit business in my view with some kinks to overcome. They can improve on specifics to the products description.. i.e original leather, made in China, size fits a size smaller..because these are made in China expect delivery delays etc. They are transparent with regard to sizing in case you order a size in the US and you receive a Euro size

with like companies.
Their marketing is beautiful and the shoes live up to this. Will definitely order again!

So I ordered two pair of flats - the shoes came from somewhere far I guess and mailed without proper packaging!!!! I suppose they thought they would save money by sending my 2 pair of shoes just wrapped in some type foam. The first pair arrived with smashed back heel area and due to this - shape was off. The other pair the front was smashed from the trip. These shoes were not cheap and I’m disturbed they were too cheap to just send them on in the shoe box. Over $100 each pair. I will try them on again but the one with the smashed heel area fits awkward. The other one with smashed front may get ok with wear.
Silly. Just mail the shoes in the box !!!
Can’t order anything else based on this trifling procedure.

Love the shoes ! I smelled the leather as soon as I opened the wrapper! Tightly secure! It took 3 weeks because it is shipped up board!

If you look up the address for the company, it is a residential home. Giant red flag

EXTREMELY NARROW so even if you buy your correct size you can’t get your foot in them. THEY WILL. OT REFUND MORE THAN 30% OF YOUR PURCHASE PRICE. THEY TAKE FOREVER TO RESPOND. ON ETHEY HAVE YOUR MONEY U ARE SCREWED

The shoes were quite lovely. Well made and good leather. But what they don't tell you is they ship from China and take a month to arrive. And when they do, they are not in a box, they're wrapped in bubble wrap and the leather is crimped and misshapen due to poor protection. Finally, I ordered 2 pair in size 8. One was correctly sized and the other was 7.5 or smaller.

The shoe's I got fit perfectly. The color was a little off, I expected a more brownish color, like the picture and what I got was a light beige. Overall I love the shoes, I'm going to try to add a little bit of brown to the shoes , I hope they come out okay, wish me luck. It did take a while to get the shoes, didn't know they came from over seas, got a little worried that I wouldn't get them.
