Very professional
Recently had dealings with Jessica Judd at Richard Kendall in Horbury regarding a rental proprty I now intend to sell. Jessica was so efficient and helped me with a number of questions. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Karen Marijewko at Richard Kendall for her outstanding support throughout the purchase of our first home.
From the moment our offer was accepted, Karen kept us regularly updated and was always available to answer our questions. She communicated with both ourselves and the solicitors, ensuring we were kept informed at every stage of what can often be a stressful process.
There were several occasions where the transaction became complex due to the sellers' onward purchase of a new-build property. Karen remained professional, approachable and reassuring throughout, taking the time to explain the situation and liaise with all parties to help keep the purchase moving forward.

Karen really looked after us when buying our first home
Karen Marijewko is so lovely and made us feel so looked after whilst buying our first home. She kept me constantly updated and made sure I understood the process. She really took the stress out of it for us and I am really grateful for her. Emily saves the day
We had Emily Dunbar as our appointed person at Richard kendall estate agents and honestly I dont know what we would have done without her. Our first sale fell through (not her fault at all the original buyer blindsided us all) but she was on the case, stopped the chain from falling apart and found us a new buyer in 10 days. Between organising all the solicitors, who did their absolute best be be as useless as possible, to giving regular updates on progress and keeping us, our buyers and the seller we were buying from in the loop I honestly couldn't give her a better review. If this gets her a bonus then it needs to be more.

Rented from Horbury branch,reported a repair in November 2025, was still not done when we left in July 2026, also had a rat in the garden, pest control came once, no follow up visit, reported again in june as there was a family of rats running round still no response when we left argued they had 28 days to return the bond when legally it is 10 days so not a good experience

We understand your frustration regarding the outstanding repair and the pest issue. Our records show that pest control attended the property, and we regret that the outcome did not meet your expectations.
Regarding your tenancy deposit, we would like to clarify that the legal requirement is not that deposits must be returned within 10 days of the tenancy ending. Under the tenancy deposit scheme rules, once the amount to be returned has been agreed by both parties, the deposit should be repaid within 10 days of that agreement. Where there are proposed deductions or the amount has not yet been agreed, this process can take longer.

I'm so glad I went with Richard Kendall. I was with a different estate agent first and after getting frustrated with lack of communication to poor photos, I decided to give these a go. And I'm so glad I did, the difference in businesses was massive and I can't praise Elizabeth cooke enough, she was such a lovely lady. Literally rang me every week with updates to getting questions from solicitors. Elizabeth went above and beyond. It was very much appreciated, Thank you!
