The car was in very good condition and was the exact model I expected. When there was an issue during the rental period, the service was prompt and efficient. Check in and check out were quick and practical.

I used the car provided by Reykjavik Rent A Car for a good three weeks. The vehicle was excellently maintained, so I didn't have a single problem the entire time. Since it was a vehicle suitable for the Highlands, I was able to carry out all my planned trips without any issues. Both pickup and drop-off went smoothly and were completed very quickly. Personally, I can highly recommend Reykjavik Rent A Car.

Great car and great service/ information
I loved the Suzuki Vitara that we rented, it was even better than my own car! With all the safety features it quickly felt relaxing to drive in Iceland.

Easy pick up and drop off with all digital information. Due to a Platinum waiver (meaning no reliability with normal use) we did not have to worry about damage.

Would definetly rent again if we are back in Reykjavik.

Renting a car here was as easy as possible. Great rates with full coverage. I had two additional questions via email which were answered within hours by the customer service. The car (Kia EV3) was amazingly clean and in great condition. Check in and check out took minutes only.

I was able to travel around the country freely for the short time I was there and not have to worry about a thing. The process of renting and returning the car was very simple and fast!

Très partagé concernant ma satisfaction. En se présentant au comptoir pour prendre possession de la voiture, je fus renvoyé vers un boiter et débrouilles toi pour trouver ta voiture. Puis un voyant m'a indiqué qu'un pneu était sous gonflé dès les premiers kilomètres. En apparence rien de détectable. Finalement quelques jours plus tard, c'est la crevaison. Heureusement aidé par un autre touriste, car la clé avait déjà servi et un peu usée, impossible de défaire un boulon. Avons téléphoner pour demander dans quel garage faire réparer, la réponse fut n'importe quel garage. Au retour non prise en compte de la facture de la réparation au motif que nous devions téléphoner. Le numéro dans la voiture n'était il pas le bon? Donc l'assurance la plus élevée pour rien. Accueil au retrait et à la restitution, très froid. Donc, je ne sais pas comment cela est chez les concurrents. Point positif, une voiture récente.

Great place to rent a car. Everything was good.

We rented a car for a 25 hour layover in Iceland. It was so great on gas, knew the speed limits, and had a great GPS screen.

Exhaust gas entered the cabin 50% of our travel time. For this high RATES FOR rent A carS it IS inacceptable.

Windshield wipers were done all the time, didn't work properly. THIS IS inacceptable FOR THIS high RATES FOR rent A carS, Sorry to be so direct with my feedback. Not to forget the wrong gas status at the beginning of our rent. All over poor performance from blue car.

Pick up, chack-in, informations about rental conditions as well as drop off were excellent.
We have same issue with parking tickets that are under explanation...

Everything was smooth and easy... We take a car, but there was a warning lamp on the dashboard... Thay immediately change the car, gave to us a better car free of charge... For two minutes... When we drop off the car, it was finished for two minutes, without any complaining... Very, very kind staff... Thank You, great expirience!

Ok, j'avais réservé une voiture avec boite manuelle. En arrivant, j'ai eu une boite automatique. Mais avec les explications et l'accompagnements des personnes, tout s'est super bien passé. Cela a été une super découverte.

Everything was tip top. I got into trouble and was delayed because of weather but they added no extra charge, very understanding and supportive.

Easy to use website.
All insurance options easy to see and more inclusive than some car hire providers.
But breakdown cover is for some reason inexplicably at extra cost - as all the providers are.

Price very competitive against other providers.
But all car hire in Iceland is 3 x times more expensive than The Canary Islands.
On site at the airport - make sure to exit via the correct airport exit, not the one by the international baggage claim. Blue Rental it is just behind the airport hotel.

No hassles or problems for us apart from it would have been nice if the car had been de iced (ice inside the windscreen too) before we collected it, however one of the employees promptly sorted it.

We would recommend and definitely use again if we return.

Very easy to collect even outside the opening hours with the key box. Very easy and fast drop off. Very smooth. Trully reccommend them. Hassle free and proffesional.
