useless bank, i sold some things on ebay and money came into my bank 30 times from ebay. then when i sold a tv for £1000 on ebay the money got rejected from rewire saying the money didnt come from me. This is the most stupid reason i ever heard. of course money will come from another account as thats how banks work. they should be embarrassed for the reason given. small time bank that needs to be shut down. now i had to link a better bank to my ebay now to accept payments.

This is to inform you that adding money to your Rewire account from accounts that are not listed in your name (3rd party accounts - salary, government payments, people who might want to wire transfer funds to your account) is no longer possible. This change is due to a new internal policy.
For your personal salary you may provide us your latest salary slip then we can check , any other non-related deposit that are not listed in your name, you can only add money to your account via debit/credit card or alternative payment account (IBAN) starting with '‘GB'' which you’ll be able to find in your Rewire account. Please note that your rewire account is for personal use only and not for business purposes or others.

They just refused my business for no apparent reason
I tried to register for the service to send money to my daughter studying in the Netherlands. After uploading my permanent residence permit for Latvia and my selfie it was determined somehow I am unfit for their service.
There Whatsapp service is horrible with a lot of canned responses that they just repeat over and over again. Also, after refusing my business they had the nerve to tell me I should register my daughter as a client. Well she is already registered and I have asked her to close her account along with other family members who have accounts.
And wow, what a helpful reply from the company.

a bunch of RACISTS
A bunch of racists hiding in their TOS.
I am a Russian national living in Europe for the last 7 years with a permanent EU residence.
Decided to give them a try and successfully passed their KYC. Shortly after I've got a warning in the app that I'm unable to access my account and that "they're doing everything they can" to make sure I have access again. Guess what? They never contacted me. Not even bothered to send me an email saying that my account opening was RETROACTIVELY denied. I reached out to them via whatsapp and got an extremely rude answer saying in between the lines: "Russians go F yourself, we have our TOS and we can discriminate you however we want."
That being said, go ahead and sign up with this company if you want to support racism and patronize a witch-hunt against Russian nationals. It is ok for this company to retroactively change their decision.
It's already a shame being Russian and I did everything in my power to move myself out of that country 7 years before the war started. It is a shame that there are EU companies punishing Russian nationals abroad instead of Putin. We're not your enemy. He is.
