I supposedly ordered a pair of shoes. The charge came through as NUVIRA GLOBAL. I received an email stating my order had been received and a confirmation email would be sent to my email address, but no such confirmation was ever received. My credit card investigation discovered the charge was made at a pawn shop.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS WEBSITE!
I ordered a product in the amount of $300. Paid for faster shipping. GOT NOTHING! Emailed them and never got a reply. There seem to be several sites that are very similar. All with US locations (Philly, San Diego, etc.) but when you actually hit submit to buy the money goes to Spain or in this case Nigeria. Avoid this site like the plague.

Why is there no zero star option?
Complete scam as others have written.

Why is this outfit still up on the web? I can't remember if I found them on Amazon or ?? Etsy? since the email receipt has only The Retail Market's info.
A little research shows it to be a Nigerian outfit.

TOTAL SCAM!!! Placed my order for $24.45 for a hard to find Maybeline lipstick that was never delivered. Totally took my money with no intent to deliver. “Support” email has not responded in months and there is no phone number. Reported them to IC3.

I placed an order with the cost $67.30 with tax. The merchandise was supposed to arrive in 5 to 8 business days. Needless to say it did not arrive, there is no way to start a refund, and no one responded to my emails.

The recipient of the $67.30 was not the retail market but another very strange company name based in Lagos !!!!

I’ve a dispute open with my bank and expect a refund however feel somewhat concerned

This is clearly a scam site. Wish I had read reviews before placing an order.

I believe this is a scam website. I purchased an item, but it has not been delivered, and the seller has not responded to any of my emails. I also requested a refund, but I have received no reply and no refund has been issued. I do not understand why fraudulent websites like this are allowed to remain online.

Placed an order, got a message that my payment could not be verified, this sounded suspicious to me, I had more than enough money in my account to cover it. I called my bank after reading these reviews, they blocked this company from getting any money out of my account. I did not lose anything, but people beware, I am 100% sure that they are scammers

I placed an order November 2025, never received my item! I have emailed them 3 times now with no reply. Total scam with no phone number!

This is a complete scam company. I put in my order, it hit my credit card account and when I contacted them for the equipment I paid for they told me I didn't complete my order and sent me a link. It wanted me to put in the order again so they could charge me twice. BBB turned them down. Stay away!!!!

Never delivered my order. They do not respond to email which is the only option to contact them.

I had the same experience - placed an order, it never came, tracking says "slightly delayed". Multiple emails have been unreturned. This is a scam website.
I disputed the charge with my credit card company.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. TOTAL SCAM

COMPLETE SCAM!!! STAY AWAY!! No phone number. Doesn't send back a response to email. NO PRODUCT EVER SENT!!! Delays you and ignores you. Horrible and awful experience. Stay away.

Ordered on December 9th. Still no order has arrived. Company does not have phone number for coustmer service. It is December 26th. "Fast and traceable shipping" the company states on the website. Have sent three emails with no response from the company. No tracking was ever sent.

Ordered a month ago. Never received my order or package, it remained in the “slightly delayed” status for a whole month, whatever, I can wait. I check the website and it implores me to contact support if it’s stayed in this phase for over 5 business days. I do, and receive no response. I contact them again, just for ANY clarification, no response. At this point, I don’t even care about the item anymore, and I just want my money back. I contact them a THIRD time, asking to cancel my order — take a guess, did they?! NO!!! I contacted them THREE times, and never receive a response, never receive anything to track my order, NOTHING! My money was genuinely stolen, this site is genuienly a scam and I WISH I checked this site before. Not to mention the fact they advertise that they’re “mentioned and reviewed” by over 400+ different newspapers that are all fake and repeat the SAME EXACT information. All posted in June 2024, leading with the same sentence, “The RetailMarket, a one stop shop..” I felt like I was going insane the whole time during this ordeal, just to find out there’s over 200 people they did this to. Please do not repeat my errors, and simply look anywhere else.

Ordered glassware but did not receive it. Sent several emails and forms to the company with no reply. Cannot find a phone number for them.
Would never order from them again. They stole my money.

Just a complete scam. No reply to multiple emails. No phone or customer service. Charged sales tax on receipt yet removed sales tax and remainder sent to Nigeria. Wouldn’t want to do anything illegal. They were still selling the “one” remaining item I purchased last week. In the future I will look on Trust Pilot for companies I haven’t done business with previously. They actually got a pass on two of the scam detector sites. Disputed charge with cc company.
