I cannot believe the lack of customer service by this company. Supposedly at the time of accepting the original Ts&Cs I agreed for money to be taken from my account for my subscription to be renewed. Some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback. How about you REMIND your customers when payment is about to be taken. A company that wasn’t solely dependent on profiteering from their customers would do the decent thing of reminding their customers before taking payment.
As per Citizens Advice guidance this company should offer a 14 day cooling off period as per my right, like many DECENT companies.
Avoid at ALL costs. Oh and the cancellation couldn’t be any more complicated. Follow the instructions in the App. Oh that isn’t enough, then re-directs you to their web page. Then 3 messages of ‘are you sure’. All this company cares about is profit. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

As newly pregnant Mum Results with Bump ads kept popping up. Thought I'd sign up for the free trial and see if I got on with it and if the program was worth the money after the free trial.

The program may well be good, but due to health issues in my first trimester, I never really got to try it and couldn't justify £19.99 a month knowing that we have a lot of new baby bits to buy, so I canceled.

When I canceled the message below popped up on my screen.

‘Thank you so much for choosing RWL. We genuinely wish you all the best on your journey to better health. Just because you have canceled does not mean this is the end. You still have access to the free plan and you can come back at any time. The door is always open. Kindest regards RWL Team’

At the bottom of this message was a purple button that read ‘Follow these steps to cancel your account on the web’.

I was confused by this as the message above assured me I had canceled my subscription, but still, I clicked the purple button and followed the instructions step by step, with the final step leading me back to the page with the above message and purple button.

I took a screenshot and considered this trial canceled as after all RWL had used the word canceled, and they would lie or be ambiguous - surely not!

So imagine my surprise when I see that after following all their steps to cancel and seeing a message saying canceled, RWL have still taken £19.99 out of my account.

Ahh I thought, this must be a mistake! So I emailed their customer service team and explained all of the above and received a reply stating ‘we are sorry that you wish to cancel your membership with us * sad face *. I have now canceled your membership for you.’.

So after wrongfully taking my money RWL didn’t even have the decency to read my emai and reply to the issues I had, they send a generic sounding response that matched the word cancellation.

I replied back and repeated my problem, and have since had another email today (1-Feb-24) effectively saying I should have followed the cancellation instructions provided on the purple button so they won’t issue a refund. Yet again, they have not read my email or had the decency to reply to the actual issue.

The customer service is appalling, vague answers to avoid 1, actually helping you resolve a problem and 2, to clearly get you to give up on obtaining your rightful refund so they can keep hard working individuals money.

RWL should be reminded that in the case of ambiguity of contracts, the rule favors the non-drafting party, IE, the customer, not RWL. Perhaps you should consider making your cancellation process less ambiguous to the customer and ensure that you do not provide messages worded in a way that suggests the cancellation was a success.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - find an alternative App or fitness planner.

I preempt a reply to this review from RWL stating please contact their customer service team via email - in this case, I expect that the ONLY reply to this email should be ‘your refund has been issued and will be in your account within 7 days’.

On two separate occasions, they have taken my money despite me canceling at least two days before my renewal.
Customer service just spout the same lines without actually listening or trying to help resolve the issue.

They took payment even after I had cancelled the subscription. Customer service just go round in circles with vague answers hoping you just give up on your refund.

In response to RWL’a reply - you had the opportunity to resolve this issue when I 1st contacted you. Apple resolved the matter straight away and refunded my payment immediately.

As a Results Wellness Lifestyle (RWL) Retreat for healthy, fully able-bodied clients, I think that RWL is absolutely brilliant. However, if you are in any way disabled, or have difficulties with mobility, then I do not think that RWL Retreat is for you.

It was advertised as an all-inclusive RWL Retreat and that it catered to every clients’ needs. However, I found that was not to be the case.

Before attending the Results Retreat, I made sure that I questioned the personal trainers’ ability to assist me where needed because I am disabled. I fully explained my needs on the website questionnaire AND I also emailed the same information across to RWL. When I got to the Results Retreats, none of the staff were aware that I had had a brain injury, let alone that I might need assistance with some of the workouts and different options for the two-hour powerwalks.

I had to explain, quite a few times, what I was able (and unable) to do. I believe that any personal trainer should know if a client is disabled, and how to have a private conversation, so that all of the personal trainers are on the right page with a new client.

One of the positives was that I did have a lovely woman (a family member from the RWL company) that assisted, and stayed with me, on the powerwalks while the rest of the group were way ahead. Sadly, that also then made me feel isolated from the rest of the group because I could not fully participate on the two-hour powerwalks because of my disability. Whenever I finally caught up to the group, the personal trainers got straight up again and carried on the power walk. This also meant that I was not included in any of the group photographs, at any point on the powerwalks, or through the Results Retreat. This once again made me feel extremely upset and isolated from the rest of the group leading to my decision to leave the retreat early.

From the start, I felt like an outsider, and was never really fully included in the workouts. I found that during some of the workouts, I was left to my own devices and did not have help to show me adaptations to suit my capabilities or needs and this made some of the workouts very difficult and - again - made me feel left out.

Once I did decide to leave the Results Retreat, I had been gone for a while before I had any messages. The first message I received was from a family member from the RWL company, asking if I was okay, not one of the RWL personal trainers. I finally received a text from one of the members of staff asking if I was okay. I received no text message or email asking why I left early. I found this very concerning because, as far as I was aware, the members of staff should have had a duty of care for all people at the Results Retreats.

I genuinely feel that I was let down from start to finish throughout my whole experience. As somebody that has had a brain injury, with aphasia and has mobility issues, it took a lot for me to be able to go on a Results Retreat on my own and I feel that this has made me question actually being able to go on a retreat again, which is a shame.

As I am disabled, with aphasia, I use texts and WhatsApp. I have APD - an auditory processing disorder - so I rarely use the phone.

I have been a member of this app for a few years now. And think it’s fantastic. There is always new things coming out. For someone who gets bored easily I have used it for years. It is always there and the trainers are absolutely amazing. Always have time to help.

I have been using rwl for many years now since the birth of my first child. There’s so many different types of workouts with lots of different programmes to follow as well as food and wellbeing advice. It’s kept me the leanest I have ever been and also the fittest, it also helped me stay fit during my second pregnancy and lose the weight after! Not just for women my husband joins me for the workouts just with much heavier weights!

I have been a member of RWL now for over 2 years and it really has changed my life. The community is great, the variety of workouts is brilliant as there really is something for everyone. I started out as a beginner and the progress over the years really has been astounding. I would never go back to a gym environment after finding RWL, it has given me so much more confidence with my fitness lifestyle.

What a brilliant app! I use it mostly for the workouts and there are some amazing programmes on there, which really help keep you committed plus work!! Or you can dip in and out of any of the workouts as and when you want too. The trainers are brilliant, and the community means you can get support from other members or even from the Pros. I've only cooked a couple of recipes, but the recipe bank has loads in it.
I love it, it's changed my relationship with fitness.

Incredible fitness and wellness platform. I discovered RWL about 6.5 years ago and never looked back. An incredible selection of workouts with new ones each week. So many programmes to choose from, incredible recipes and support with lifestyle, sleep, pregnancy, post natal, family, confidence, anxiety, menopause and so much more. I guarantee you will not regret joining this incredible platform and becoming an RWL fittie!

RWL is a fantastic platform with something for everyone. Not only doesn’t it provide a variety of workout styles, lengths and focuses with modifications for all abilities it also provides delicious balanced recipes, meal plans and the the support of the diet coaches programme and a host of mindset features including life coaching, short courses (motivation, confidence, happiness, stress, sleep, female menstrual health and relationships), meditation, breathing exercises and sleep stories. The community pages are a wonderful feature and I’ve made life long friends through this. Finally there are specialist health sections such as a fantastic pre and post natal section, pain clinic and even a programme to help people into exercise who have never exercised before. There is something for everyone on this well rounded and planned platform; i couldn’t ask for more

I have been using this platform since the year it first launched and it has helped me so much with living a healthy, balanced lifestyle! I love the variety of the workouts and I can fit it into my day. I have learnt so much in relation to exercise, nutrition and health. I love the daily planner where I can calorie count when I want to eat in a deficit and all of the yummy recipes! It is a great platform with like minded users all supporting each other. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make positive changes to their lifestyle.

RWL is a fantastic app - everything you need for a healthy lifestyle, from recipes, to many different workout styles, to mindset and sleep. This app has everything. Content is updated very regularly and support are always quick in responding if you have any problems. Couldn’t recommend more! I don’t think I could be without RWL now

Fantastic variety of workouts and a huge range of recipes - I’ve lost a lot of weight via this app & website and have been a member for 8 years. Nothing beats it! The support from the trainers and staff within the app itself is outstanding. Yes this website is a subscription as the other reviews state, but that is very clear (it even asks you what term you want the subscription for) and it’s easy enough to cancel any time via the website.

I’ve been a member of RNWL for a few years now. I was not enjoying the gym and wanted more flexibility and variety. RWL offers complete flexibility so you can fit workouts in around your lifestyle.
I also enjoy the variety of workouts on offer-there is something for everyone of every ability and something to suit every interest and even opportunities to try something new! Having been a member of slimming clubs I had developed an unhealthy relationship with food and an obsession with weighing but with the food section and diet coaches program on RWL I’ve really turned all that around. I would recommend this platform for anyone or any age, ability and stage of life.

I have been an RWL member for 6 years now! In that time i have seen it grow from strength and strength offering me not only structure and a healthy lifestyle but also improved wellbeing, friendships, fitness level improvement and increased knowledge in so many areas. I honestly couldn't rate this platform any higher. Its absolutely fantastic.

Terrible customer service - like many others I see on this review page I have suddenly been charged £116. I contacted customer services immediately and replies from RWL customer services have not even attempted to help me out. They have been deceptive in taking this money! Avoid at all costs!

I am beyond upset, I've noticed £116.99 taken out of my account with out my permission. Im 9 months pregnant due any day and i do not need the stress of dealing with this customer service.

I did the results with bump with RWL and double checked that there was no automatic renewal, as i had to have C section with my last pregnancy and will not be able to do exercise. I've received no email/Phone calls/messages to confirm a renewal.

As soon as i noticed the money was taken out of my account I've contacted RWL asking for a refund, the response I got..... We can offer you a 50% partial refund and to ensure than my account is cancelled as of September.... we have just started July

Do i need to contact a Ombudsmen? to deal with this as I'm having no joy with customer service, and to also inform them to have a look on trust pilot as many have the same complaints that i do.

Had been a member of RWL some years ago and saw an offer advertised so decided to do some research. As I clicked onto the membership option to find out what it included I received a notification from my bank saying the money had been taken! No checkout area or forewarning which is awful, particularly given the rising costs of living and people needing to research and think about their options.

Cancelled immediately and contacted customer services and was told I can't have a refund even though it's been less than 24 hours and I haven't utilised any of the videos/features. Now waiting for a response after mentioning the legailities around cooling off period. Appalling customer service and shocking website functionality, be very careful.

Similar to another reviewer, towards the end of a 6 month trial I was sent an email offering 12 months 50% off. I already cancelled autosubscribe but thought I would check it out. I looked in the app and found the 12 month option and clicked on it expecting to find somewhere to add a code or somewhere applying a discount. No, intact I had signed up for a £120 program.
I got in touch with customer service and was told it was my problem/my fault. I'm not very impressed.
Worst of all, by renewing I lost the remaining paid for time on my previous program!

Edit:
The company has been in contact and offered a £20 refund which I have accepted. I imagine I would have renewed my contract but I did not enjoy feeling forced by my mistake. It seems unusual that a successful company would appear to need to so fiercely rely on these accidental purchases that they would write it into their contracts.
