I was looking for apartments. I don't like apartment life but I thought Discovery View seems like a nice place and it was within my price range. It used to be a place where seniors could live but you had to have meals there and you had to pay for them and there were people who did your laundry and so forth well I'm not at that age yet. But now it's just regular independent living. And I had called many many many times and finally got the apartment manager. And I was told to come in and get an application and my name would be on the wait list for a two-bedroom which at that time almost a year ago there were only three maybe four people.
Well every few months I would call and ask where my name was on the wait list and the executive director as she was called would say nothing has changed. I said okay I'll check back in a few months. Well now it's almost been a year and now for some reason I can't get a hold of anyone there. I keep leaving messages but none of my messages get returned. I even came in once and gave myself a self tour and the people that live there seem nice and it seems well kept and well maintained and I thought this would be a good place to live.
But they're phone message is not even up to date and that doesn't make sense. When you call it's like you're calling the old place because they ask you do you want to talk to somebody in the kitchen do you want to talk to somebody and maintenance and there is no more kitchen and there is no maintenance that I know of and shouldn't they change their answering machine to reflect that? And the woman who's the apartment manager or as she calls herself the executive director is never there to answer questions and I think maybe she works part-time over at Marine plaza. So one time just for kicks I called over at Marine plaza but they have a different number now and there's no new number that I could find out and I spent 15 minutes trying to find that number and finally found it and lo and behold I just left a message. I even called the property management company guardian and I left a message and they never called back. And in these days where there are very few apartments that are decent you think that people could be a little more customer service oriented and call people back? I mean what do these managers do all day in their office? I mean are they fixing toilets sinks are they painting I don't think so.
I mean after a while of being ignored it's just really pisses you off that these people don't even care so why should you want to live there?
Maybe that's the key word you don't want to live there.

Our request never went through to the appartment property and we had to pay an application fee non refundable on here.

The response was timely and informative. I was informed about availability and given a choice about the wait list.

They were there when I knew the most they did give me two bedroom, but I could not receive that because I have a son and grandson granddaughter. They kept me on the waitlist and they are continuing to help me and I want to thank them for this Ms. Doraine Vining

The pictures and floor plans. Also it's up to date. Not sluggish.

I live at Beach View Villa a better place to live the Management Team is wonderful the work orders are pretty fast I got my new burner plates pretty quick with the entire staff on it had a burner check he fixed it !! I was pretty happy about our last eviction wow thank you !! The towing I feel safer living here thank you so much KS...!!!!...

Wonderful experience with Lex and Leo at Waterfront and I will learn about those people very carefully.Oh, by the way, I do go grocery shopping online every Sunday.

Very friendly, very helpful! It was my first time apartment hunting, and I fell in love with redwood as soon as I walked in! Hannah, and Erica were very patient and informative! I love it here! And maintenance is on point! I couldn’t get things repaired in my house this quick!! 5 stars all day for me!! 🤩

RentCafe doesn't really know what they are doing. Their support team takes weeks to respond to any basic requests, and for urgent ones, we are left waiting when leads are being affected. The CRM is a joke, along with any kind of support needed. I wouldn't trust my residential company with this platform.

It was fine was disappointed didn't have more pictures 😔.

The best part about what I have experienced so far is how well kept the homes or apartments have been. I feel like I am getting value for the amount of money being asked for with rental fees. Other sites are misleading and homes do not look as good when you visit onsite at property location.
I just dont like being charged a fee for using a debit card as your company give no other option for payments and debit is to be accepted as cash payment coming directly from a bank account.

This place is not only a waste of time, but can make homeless. They purport to contacting rental companies, but nobody received any messages, and it cost us dearly. Do yourself a favor and don't use this site.

When I logged in to sign my lease, the process was NOT at all intuitive. The text on the screen indicated that clicking on Get Moving would take me to offers of moving assistance. I finally clicked on it anyhow and found my lease. I'm very computer literate, so if I had difficulty with this process, I can only assume that most people would have even more difficulty.

I don't know to much about this app but just to say they all said great things about it that's why I downloaded it. But so far so good 👍

Looking good to speak with a real person

Too many emails every hour or so - this is spam
The company I contacted for an appointment several times has not replied, and I have no way of knowing if they got my request. There is no record of my request and the set up is only for scheduling a certain day with no options of different times to choose. Very poor

Website makes it easy to find all items that need attention. Security is a top priority.

I was initially frustrated about the inability to log in or register.
I was able to only find minimal properties, I had to use other search tools like Google to find anything.
I emailed about login issues, but no response yet, though it’s Friday afternoon.
Patiently waiting…

Easy to navigate

I am looking for a new place for myself and I like this website because it makes it easier to find different apartments.
