Our experience with Reliance has been nothing more than a joke.
When we first signed on, we were excited. We truly believed this platform would make training easier for our staff and simplify our compliance process. We spent countless hours rewriting policies, building department-specific learning programs, creating custom training paths, and assigning courses to individual employees. We bought into the idea that this system would solve our training problems.
Instead, it created far more problems than it solved.
The moment we started assigning training, everything seemed to fall apart. Employees would complete their courses, but the system wouldn’t mark them as complete. Completion certificates wouldn’t generate or send. Courses would randomly reassign themselves to employees who had already finished them, forcing us to sort out the confusion. Staff members were constantly locked out of their accounts or unable to log in, and instead of focusing on running our facility, we found ourselves acting as IT support.
The most frustrating part has been Reliance’s customer service. Every time we reached out for help, the response was basically, “Go complete our training modules so you’ll know how to use the system.” We did. We completed the training. We still had the same problems. At that point, where is the actual support? Rather than helping troubleshoot the issues, they continue pointing us to outdated, poorly made training videos that don’t address the problems we’re experiencing.
Then there’s the pricing. Every few months it seems like another increase shows up, and the explanation is always that it’s somewhere in the fine print of the contract. That may technically be true, but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating.
If you’re considering Reliance, understand that you may need to dedicate a full-time employee just to manage it. We have a little over 60 staff members, and I honestly believe it would take at least one full-time person—if not two—to keep everything running correctly. Between fixing login issues, tracking down missing completions, reassigning courses that should never have been reassigned, and trying to get accurate training records, it becomes a job all by itself.
A training platform is supposed to save time, improve efficiency, and make compliance easier. Unfortunately, our experience has been the exact opposite. We invested an incredible amount of time and effort into implementing this system, only to spend even more time fighting with it. After everything we’ve gone through, I can’t recommend Reliance to any organization looking for a reliable learning management system.

Courses need to always be text based only so that users can ACTUALLY work at their chosen pace.
I'm a 20 year veteran in the L&D space…
I'm a 20 year veteran in the L&D space and have worked with countless LMS in that time. Relias' contract renewal practices are the worst in the business. 60 day cancellation notifications seems acceptable, but if you miss it, you're locked in for the term of your contract. 3 year contract? then you're renewed for 3 years, automatically.
Secondly, make sure you update your contact names officially with the account. Whether or not you're in communication with them (even as far as renewing a contract with them), because the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Unfortunately, their mismanagement of our account and their business practices, negatively impacted our users. Not an "We apologize", but a "you should have formally notified us"
If you can find another software to meet your needs, I would encourage you to look elsewhere. Relias has outdated and predatory practices that are not user friendly, and always end up serving Relias, rather than the customer.
This is not about the product but there…
This is not about the product but there dealing with a complaint and sending and charging without authorization. There was a mix-up and 2 orders were sent and charged. One in my name and one in my mother's on the same card. When we asked for refund, they said could not be done because we had already filed a complaint with the credit card company. All understandable, however I then told them a subscription should not be on either order. They assured me there was not one. I again stated no subscription on the orders. They had the order numbers. This month there is another charge on the credit card. Will I have to change my card number to stop it. Not happy at all and would not use this product if it was the best on the market.

What was great as in deserving 5 stars…
What was great as in deserving 5 stars was the customer service person I spoke to. I wish I remembered her name, I have it written down somewhere. She helped me go thru the years of transcripts that I had from them, she took her time and didn't rush me. The deserved 3 stars was because they didn't have all of my transcripts stored. Even if expired they should have names and scores of what I had taken through the years. My past employer was no longer up and running the other didn't have the transcripts which made no sense.

Let me start by saying the classes are very good and I enjoy them.
What I don't like is signing for "all" administrative access and finding out many classes are not included.
Frustrations abound
Like - new report styles with bookmarks.
like - linked fields in forms
like - custom fields
like - there are a lot of things AxisCare does well, and it does seem like it is getting better.
Dislike - usability of caregiver alerts and caregiver credentials report.
Dislike - systemic issues with OT calculation
Dislike - at least half the time I submit a ticket and provide information, I am dismissed with a statement along the lines of "you aren't using that right" after which I re-explain what I have already explained and then get acknowledgement that it actually might not be a me problem.
Dislike - creating and editing forms - lack of control in layout options -mobile view is not how it appears on a mobile device all the time - cannot resend current documents to staff for re-signing - cannot send documents to staff for signing in AxisCare - cannot get notifications of required signatures missed - cannot make signatures on something required before proceeding within app.
Dislike - attached documents - cannot preview, cannot allow staff to see
Dislike - custom report building - even after watching the videos I cannot produce anything that could remotely be considered helpful.
Dislike - lots and lots of things I don't have time right now to get into.
