Relax Kids is a wonderful company!!!

The Seven Steps to Relaxation are ground-breaking and really do change children’s lives for the better.

My son has been going to Relax Kids since he was six… he is now nearly thirteen… and the difference in him is amazing!

He is more able to calm himself when he struggles with his temper, he is kinder to himself during tough times; and he helps so many of his peers at school too! He passes on all he has learnt and is very sympathetic to others too.

Relax Kids should be taught in EVERY school across the world.

The skills learnt in these classes are skills for life and they really do have a magically positive effect on children!

If you want calm and confident kids, this is the place to go!!

Relax Kids is the most amazing company. The children I have taught have benefitted hugely from the sessions they’ve had. I have noticed such a huge difference in their mood, behaviour and ability to regulate. RK gives teachers and students a tool box they can turn to in times of need. Super cool.

My Journey with the amazing Relax Kids.

When I first discovered Relax Kids (early 2000's) I was looking for something to help my child manage her anxiety for a hospital stay. I discovered the Princess CD.

I played this to her a while before and prior to her anaesthetic and it helped to soothe her and take her to another place in her mind.

We found the hospital environment overwhelming but using a Relax Kids Meditation CD helped my daughter and surprisingly myself! It helped me feel I had some control on the events that were happening I was hooked from then on,

you have to remember, this was a time when there was nothing else out there for children in terms of relaxation and meditation. The hospital gladly accepted my CD to use for other young patients.😊

A few years later I signed up for the Relax Kids training with the view to sharing Relax Kids techniques with others and starting a part time business to fit in with motherhood.

From the initial practice lessons with my children, the freedom to create sessions and with the help of the forever increasing and fun Relax Kids toolkit! I and my family became immersed in everything Relax Kids, which became part of family life. Over time, this resulted in good mental health habits, use of emergency self care techniques and a normality/ acceptance around leading a more self aware lifestyle.

Relax kids accompanied my children into the teenage years where the techniques I remember, particularly at exam time, came to the rescue!

Now as adults they have incorporated self soothing techniques and a more positive outlook on life with Help from the amazing age appropriate Relax Kids resources.

I worked as a coach at my children's school and only the other day I bumped into a mum who was keen to tell me her 20 yr old daughter loved those sessions! I have also had emails about one girl using Relax Kids to help with anxiety of flying and at the dentist. It is so lovely to plant seeds early on in a child's life and watch them grow emotionally and empower them with ways of regulating them selves.

The support as a coach from Marneta and team has been fantastic. Relax Kids a true trailblazer of a company and has expanded since it's early days, taking children from the womb to adulthood, offering more opportunities as a coach to work with different age groups and helping professionals such as teachers and of course families.

Relax kids has been a big part of my life. It has been a big influence on me and my family. it's products books handouts audios and fun exercises has nurtured good mental and physical well being behaviours becoming more of a way of life.

As a Relax Kids coach of almost 10 years now I have to say it's been an amazing journey. I love working with children teaching strategies to support their mental health and wellbeing.

In the time I've been a coach I've worked with well over 8000 children ranging from preschool to college and beyond. The power of Relax Kids is incredible and that's seen in the both feedback the children give following a course and also when I see young people I've worked with years down the line. I had a young adult come up to me recently and say I did Relax Kids with you in year 6 at age 10 (when they are now 18) and that they still have the affirmation cards and use the strategies 8 or more years later then you know it works!

The training and my work has also had a massive impact on me and my family and as someone who practices what she teaches, I love it when the children I work with ask me whether I do this too. I always make it quite clear that I practice everything I teach otherwise it wouldn't feel authentic!! So I've gone from stressed commuter to totally chilled which is a great place to be!

The CDs/MP3s and books are awesome and to be honest these are what first got me into Relax Kids. I used the same CD for my daughter at bedtime for several years and that's now become a firm favourite in my classes. The books are magical and there is something for everyone.
