ReDollar is very fair with pricing. They stay in contact and quick to send out your payment. Sometimes a little off on weights and purity, but they have the proper equipment to test and weigh.

I was doing the process of sending in a ring and necklace to sell. The ring had been resized and no longer contained the 14k mark. This they refused to ship it to them for free and devalued it considerably. I offered to prove live on camera with a gold test that the ring is 14k. I personally purchased this ring over 20 years ago. And I personally resized it. The ring has never left my possession.

I am offended that they will not allow me to prove the value of my item without having to pay for shipping and accept that they think my white gold ring is tarnished silver!

I had positive during my past two orders with reDollar so naturally when I needed to sell a coin I just went ahead submitted online order with redollar.com The process is easy and quick: you can see what their estimated prices are for various metals, then you fill out "Sell now" form online with your name/address and list of items you sell. Shortly after, you'll get the email with a form to sign and insured shipping label along with instructions how to pack the items.

This time, the shipping was slower (first two ordered it was next day), took 3 days for ground shipping).

Shipped the coin Monday, reDollar got the package Thursday, lab validated the coin, and payment was processed the same day. Price offered was fair and whole process is very fluid.

So, based on my recent experience with reDollar, I can definitely recommend this company/site and definitely going to use it myself in the future.

This was my first time using reDollar and unlike some other companies I have used in the past. My experience with reDollar was Great.
We agreed on a price that I was happy with and our scrap gold report was right on the mark. We received over seventy four hundred dollars which was nearly twice what a local company offered us.. I will use them again for sure.

In the past I had two additional gold buying businesses quote me on the same item and, hands down, ReDollar offered not just a better price, but almost twice as much. They have a handy calculator, which is kept up to date daily according to the stock price. I highly recommend comparing quotes before selling, and never go to a jeweler to sell your gold.

The journey to sell my gold jewelry started with the visit of 3 local coin/gold shops... offering me only 70-80% of the actual gold value. Not much better were the results from precious metal refineries... one did not accept private customers, the other never responded to my e-mail and the third did no call back after leaving multiple messages.
Until I found Redollar - in the beginning I was skeptical, however, their online calculator was giving me by far the best price of 90% of the gold value. After contacting them all of the transaction went super-smooth and very quick; from getting confirmation e-mails, to the shipping labels, insurance of the package, the assessment of my goods... until payment... altogether including the 2 day shipment in less than 5 days.
And the best: I got more then estimated! (I wrongly classified one of the pieces as 10k in the online calculator.. and Redollar found that it was a 14k piece... and added accordingly to the payout.)

ReDollar has been amazing. I buy storage units, I find a lot of gold and silver jewlery. My local pawn shop says they pay 80, but realistically its more like 75, or lower. I have been cheated by said pawn shop by purity.
