Long wait time (5 weeks), no benefits to a trade account, product is just ok. Difficult to work with just using a knife. Ended up using a cutting disk and then shaving the edges.

Colour wasn't as expected
Panels arrived in good time, the quality of the panel is good, although could be a slight bit thicker.
I ordered the Onyx Green Verde panels, I expected them to arrive as the colour shown in the pictures provided on the website. I should have ordered a sample first, but I thought they came as described - as the description did not mention about any varying colours or shades you could potentially recieve. When I recieved my panels I thought the colour was more yellowish/lime green than the forest green that was shown in the pictures so I was quite disappointed as I felt a bit mislead. However, Charlie from reco was very helpful and offered to send new panels, but by this point our panels were already installed.
So overall great service and very helpful team.

Thank you Jessie.
We are sorry that the colours didn't quite match up with the images from the website and your expectations. I have asked the team to look into this and try to improve the quality of descriptions and this panels clarity. It is important to have this feedback so we can continually improve.
Great product

Thanks Rosaline!
Excellent service.
Quick delivery, well packaged samples, decent size too. Unfortunately, colours were not right for me, but that’s not Reco Surfaces fault. Would buy from them if they had the colour I’m looking for.

Hi Luci, thank you for your review. I have spoken to Sharon, who I believe you were on email with. It looks like you wanted a more Olive colour. We have our Hampton panels back on the website now and that might be more what you are looking for. https://www.recosurfaces.com/shop/metro/metro-flat/
It is always best to check with us if you can't find the right colour as we often have things for trade customers that can be made available.
Thank you.

After a shaky start and Sharon returning from holiday, we received the panels.
They look good up and were easy to cut and fit.
I have to agree with other comments about delivery charge, when the panels are only rolled in a cardboard box and arrive by normal courier.
They also mark quite easily and as commented on by others the white pvc shows through.
But all in all pretty good.

Thank you for your review. Sharon is certainly an important member of the team and we are glad she was able to help.
We are sorry to hear that you felt the delivery charge of £45 plus VAT was expensive. It is the same cost for one or three panels due to volume. We simply charge the price the delivery company charge us. Unfortunately due to Amazon everyone wants free delivery. We decided it wasn’t right to add that cost to the product and be transparent. I hope you would agree.
As for the panels marking, they all have an anti-scratch coating so are pretty tough. If you do scratch it badly give us a call and we can show you how to polish it out.
‘White PVC shows through’ we are not sure what you mean. Provided the panels are installed correctly there should be no ‘show through’ they are solid and not transparent.
Good design but…
Good design but the fact that it comes rolled up meant that it was a nightmare to attach to the wall, even with some extremely strong grab adhesive it kept peeling off the wall and rolling back up again. Doubt I’ll purchase again for other jobs and would advise against the product.

Hi Tim, the instructions that were sent when you placed the order and even on the box they were delivered in clearly states that you must remove the panels from the box as soon as you receive them and allow 24h for them become flat. Hundreds of these panels are installed every week and no one else has had this problem. Its a shame that you felt the need to make this statement on this website and not speak to somebody about the issue.
Not really as expected.
Tried a sample after s friend showed us theirs. We wanted a stone finish/ look.
Very disappointed that the stone/ brick one's were pretty much flat and not embossed/ blown plastic at all.
Took a while to get here too.
The ones that mimic tiles are pretty good but a very limited choice really.

Hi Andrew, I am sorry to hear you were disappointed. The website does clearly state that only the tile panels are 3D. Our stone effect panels are good value compared to most other brands. 3D stone effects are not normally suitable for wet areas and are also much more expensive.
As for our tile panel’s being a limited range. We have around 150 different designs and colours on the website, which is the largest selection of tile effect panels in the world. If there is something in particular that you can’t find then it’s always a good idea to call us as we also have a lot of designs that are not on the website yet.
Great customer service and product
Great customer service and product. Ordered samples to be sure of the quality and they didn’t disappoint. Panels look great and very much like a well laid tile look. Very easy to cut with a fine saw and for electric sockets using a multi tool. Sticks well with adhesive.
Lost a star due to a very expensive delivery cost for small single sheet order. Delivery was rapid but I expected the sheet to be not rolled up to justify the cost hike. Instead this could have costed around half the price TBH.

Thank you for the review. As the panels are large so we have to ship them rolled. The delivery is based on volume so the price is the same for one panel and 3.

Great tile alternative!
We ordered the coloured bevel metro tiles which look great, delivered quickly and safely, and were relatively easy to cut and put up. Only complaints are that they do scuff quite easily and show the white under the colouring.

Svar fra Reco Surfaces
Hi Thomas, thank you so much for your feedback. All of our panels are coated with an anti-scratch coating, so you should not find any scuffing. Most scuffs can be polished out using a microfibre cloth and some silicone spray. Please try this and if you have further problems contact us at info@recosurfaces.com
Great service
Great service, as a only half decent DIYer I was nervous about using tiled panels but they are so easy to work with and the end result looks great, I'll be using them again in the future for sure.

Great product and great service
Great product and great service. Slight mix up with my first order. Personally I like the flat metro tiles better than the bevelled but thats a preference and it looks really good as my utlity backsplash and a backing in a downstairs wc in the understairs room!! Very useful product. Wouldnt say it was cheap but worth it. My advice would be to take care cutting as I had a couple of splits which lost me a good six inches of panelling but otherwise recommend. Also Sharon is super helpful!

Thanks, Nicola. We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review. The cost savings are mostly in the fitting and maintenance savings not in the face value of the product as I am sure you will have found. Cutting must be done with a fine-toothed saw face down to avoid splitting. Once on the wall, the panels are very robust. So happy to hear you liked the panels and our in-house superstar Sharon!
Effective and Easy to Install
I found this product to be very simple and clean to install. I was also very impressed with the finished effect, it looks better than real tiles and now grouting.
