Our eligible saving products are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000 for individuals and businesses and £170,000 for joint accounts. I opened a 1 year savings bond with a top rate and it took less than two minutes to complete the online application form. I paid money into the account and was immediately notified by email that the money had arrived in the account. Easy to open.
