Amazing instructions and amazing lessons, passed with only one lesson before completing my lesson. Getting used to the area was too easy with my instructor.

Horrible!
The site seems suspicious, asking for full payment before even getting in touch with an instructor. Then, at the time of lesson, I got a message, 15 minutes into my lesson, that my instructor was too far away and couldn’t make it. I called them for a refund and the connection was absolutely horrible, going silent for minutes at a time constantly. Extremely disappointed!!

Hi Ecaterina,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
Rated Driving connects learners with independent driving instructors, and in your case the booking should not have been accepted as the instructor was too far away. The instructor has confirmed they misunderstood the pick-up area, and we’ve reminded them to double-check location and travel distance before accepting any learner.
I can confirm your refund was issued and a receipt was emailed to you on the day this was raised.
We’re always working to improve the experience for learners, so I appreciate you flagging this. Wishing you the best of luck with your driving lessons.

I’m extremely grateful to my instructor for helping me pass my practical driving test. I took just one class, and the guidance was so clear and effective that I was able to crack the test confidently. Very professional, calm, and focused on exactly what the examiner looks for. Highly recommended!

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor. He is incredibly kind, patient, and has such a warm, genuine soul. From the very first lesson, he made me feel completely comfortable and at ease, which made learning to drive so much less stressful. Every lesson was filled with laughter, encouragement, and reassurance, and he always took the time to explain things clearly without ever making me feel rushed or judged. His patience is unmatched, and his calm, positive attitude gave me so much confidence behind the wheel. I’m so grateful for his support and guidance—truly the best driving instructor anyone could ask for.

If i could give Seb more than 5 stars i would! He put his heart and time into ensuring i pass first time. Although i was not the easiest student at times Seb was patient and reassuring while not letting me get away with bad habits. Great teaching techniques and a great guy.

Experience
The lessons overall were great and I passed first time.
However, despite following the lessons I was entitled to a refund, rightly so I was charged for lessons that I need to cancel last minute (morning of/night before)- although I was not made aware of this. I wasn’t provided with terms and conditions only to be told they would be found on the website.
Some lessons were started late and did not fulfill the full two hour slots as I would have prior commitments post lesson. This was denied when claiming the refund.
I settled the refund for what they have claimed was the remaining hours despite not agreeing with it as there was too much back and forth.
Overall I would recommend but be extremely precise on cancellations & lateness as they do not take the customers word

Hi Georgina,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your about your experience, it's greatly appreciated.
Congratulations again on passing your test first time 🎉 that’s a brilliant achievement and we’re really pleased Rated Driving could support you on your journey.
We’re genuinely sorry to hear that parts of your experience didn’t feel as smooth as they should have been. While our full terms are always available on the website, it’s clear we could have highlighted the key points around cancellations and lesson timings more clearly.
We’re already updating our process so these important details are presented upfront in our confirmation emails.
Regarding the refund discussion, we appreciate it was a frustrating situation. Our team followed the lesson records provided by the instructor, but we do understand how it may have felt from your side, and we’re always open to improving how these matters are handled to avoid any back-and-forth for future learners.
Thank you again for choosing Rated Driving, for acknowledging the quality of the lessons, and for recommending us. We genuinely appreciate your feedback - it helps us keep improving. Wishing you the very best on the road ahead.

Erith Instructor
- Erith instructor
Having a test booked far in Erith; this was far away from me in Kingston 😅 My instructor was recommended to me by my local instructor. He believes in his students and pushes you to become the best driver. Not only has he got great knowledge in driving , he understands the phycology in how our brains work while learning. He could very quickly pick up exactly what I struggled with and began correcting my habits straight away. Through kindness, passion and some giggles, he has a great nature in bringing your belief back in driving. My favourite saying he had was there is a lion coming, you must push on the gas. I am sure this will be in my head forever now 😂 highly recommend- 👍

Rated Driving… best learning experience and a pass of course….
There’s a lot I can say but I’m sure there is a word limit to reviews. So I’ll say this, from the team in the office at Rated driving at the very beginning of my journey, to the instructor they paired me with, it has been nothing short of impeccable. Thank you for listening to me and connecting me with not only a great instructor from your team, but also ensuring they were the right instructor for me.
To my instructor, thank you for adapting to my way of learning, for your patience, encouragement, positivity and professionalism. We passed this morning (03Nov2025) and I could not have done it without you. Thank you.
To anyone at whatever point in your learning journey you might be, I recommend Rated Driving. Their white glove approach to teaching you to drive is like no other
