The course is broken down into practical and written work. My tutor was Jhon staff he explains everything in great detail and makes sure you understand as well, all round great course glad I did it, Leeds college of building played a big part in my journey too

The course was spot on, I did mine at Leeds city college with John staff as my trainer, no complaints at all about the course or trainer both top tier, smoothly run and taught to top quality, infrastructure labour limited as a sponsor whole different sorry not helpful at all never had no shifts and just sent you employers numbers to ring and laughed when I asked about the postage off my sentinel card telling me ‘ ask Royal Mail and laughing’ the training is spot on thou from John never lied once telling you all you need to know about the industry PTS TIC and more 👌 it’s not a easy industry and you need to be willing to put the graft in as John will tell you👍

Had one on the best teachers in the game. Honestly, old school Staffy was a Gee throughout the course! Too much to take in for a few weeks but the tutors passion and dedication made everything flow easy and straightforward. Read read read and listen listen listen that way you will pass pass pass 😉😉

John was an amazing tutor made time and went out of his way in his own time to help those who was struggling etc made the content understandable with good explanations of it I strongly believe I wouldn’t of been anywhere near the pass rate of 100% on my pts and tic with a different tutor his attention to detail and knowledge of the industry is second to none

The rails future course is very in depth and intresting course. The course gives alot of information which can seem daunting. However the lecturer Jalal Ahmed has made this easy to understand and has made this course fun and has kept me intrigued.

Enjoyable and informative course. Went by much faster than I thought it would. Jalal helped us to get through parts we didn't understand and slowed down where necessary. He cut through all the technical jargon and got straight to business. Cheers for a fun and interactive 6 weeks.

Loved the course, at first I didn’t think it was for me but everyone including the tutors were very supportive and helped me get through the first couple days. After this I then gained the confidence to work on the railways due to the practical and classroom knowledge I obtained. Thanks again highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this railway course. I find it hard to concentrate in class but Jalal Ahmed my teacher really helped me and broke down the things I didn’t understand to make it much easier for me and gave me confidence to proceed in the course. Couldn’t have asked for a better teacher.

Really enjoyed this course. Was really detailed and plenty of help was given where needed. Big thanks To Jalal could not have done this without him. Really put himself out there when training us and made sure to cover all bases and accomodate to everyones learning needs. Thanks to his hands on training I feel I learnt alot that the paper work alone could not teach me. If this guy ever offers you help or any form of learning. Really listen to this guy, he knows his stuff and he'll make sure you pass with all the correct information and learning. Would highly recommend this course and Jalal to anyone hoping to get on the railway.

What a very good course found it very interesteing and motivating and was also delivered Jalal Ahmed who made it interesting in motivating and worth doing the teaching was easy to understand and definitely hopeful for a future and was highly recommend this

I study railway engineering at Highbury college and my teacher is Jalal His Highness's compassion, effort and unique efforts in education and transfer of valuable information and experiences along with establishing a close and friendly relationship with students and creating a pleasant atmosphere for acquiring knowledge and understanding

I did a course last year at highbury college and my tutor was jalal, he was a great teacher and great guy! Really interacted with everyone in the class! I had no knowledge of the rail when I started but by the end I knew everything I needed to know to work on the track! Couldn't give jalal higher praise!

Attended the Portsmouth course, learnt a lot about the industry they have great teachers and staff they always went beyond measure and made sure we had everything we needed in order to be successful on the course. The process with rail futures was very smooth, everything was done in a professional manner they always dealt with issues very quickly.

I worked as a railway engineering tutor for Rail Futures for 2 years , in that time they helped me develop as a tutor and as a person . They helped me and my students in every way possible from day 1. Very reactive to any of my needs and I can’t praise the professionalism of the staff enough .
