Despite me buying, AND PAYING FOR ! my car insurance policy with you at least 14 days ago, I have had to get your help desk to email me a copy of my documents as your online site will not allow me to view them !
It tells me I DO have a policy but will not open the documents despite repeated attempts !
I should have learned my lesson 2 YEARS AGO WHEN IT HAPPENED THEN !

Very simple way to apply, it only took a few minutes. Good price, I Had been quoted just under £100 per month. Nice well known name so I had confidence in taking out the cover.

Easy!
This is the first time I have used RAC for my car insurance. Everything was online and even though I am in my eighties, I found the whole experience pretty easy. I also went back afterwards and managed to add a second driver on my insurance. So, very easy to navigate my way around, but I must say I do find it a bit disconcerting to know that there is no human I could talk to.

The lady who I spoke to was very helpful and explained in detail for me to understand. The only thing I was miffed about was having to pay £20fine for late payment which wasn’t my fault as the bank hadn’t got a couple of security questions from my card but the lady explained a few things and I was completely satisfied.Thankyou once again.

Not good On Line Customer Service. Be aware only AI.
Our initial payment did not go through as the card had expired and we didn't realise. We then went through the rabbit hole. I changed card details three times on the non human "Customer service Site" had confirmation that card had been changed. Then two weeks later " renew or cover cancelled". Again back to "site" no confirmation that payment was received but insurance documents for the following year were delivered. This has caused us a lot of stress as we have been on holiday for most of this time. Not sure if we will renew because of this experience.

I don,t know how they get any star RAC…Black BOX
I don,t know how they get any star ratings because if i had a choice there would be no star. I purchase a black box insurance by mistake i am 84 years old and driving for over 50 years so i did not need a black box i never had an accident. i try to cancel on the same day 9 /8/2026 but it was difficult any way i did it on the second day.It was complete monday and tuesday.Adriana who did the cancellation said she don,t think there will be any charges as the policy don,t start until the 2/9/2026. I paid £1023.22 and i got back £884 96.How can you take£138.26 for what when on your website you said i have 14 days cooling off days. that£138.26 is half my weekly pension.What sort of company are you.That is a lot of money for nothing. MR MARTIN ROY WALKER.
