I used compare-health-insurance.com, which is owned by QuoteWizard, to check health insurance prices. Within a couple of hours, I received more than 30 calls from different sales agents. I had no idea my information would be shared that widely, and the site didn’t make that clear before asking for my phone number.

Consumers should know that this site doesn’t actually give you quotes — it collects your data and pushes it out to many brokers. If you value your privacy or want to avoid aggressive sales calls, be careful using any QuoteWizard-owned lead-gen sites.

Terrible leads. Half the numbers are disconnected. The ones that do answer already have insurance. Save your $$. And they only give you credit a quarter of the disc. numbers and that's not enough.

It's a total scam company. I had deposited $250 for Personal Loan leads. I had received 6 leads. When I had reached out to these 6 leads, they disputed saying that they had never requested info about life insurance. Then when I reached back out to Quotewizard to close my account, I was being told that they would not refund the 6 leads. This company is a total scam...

Utilizes Indian scammers for leads. Very sketchy

I submitted a request for insurance quotes. In other words, look at multiple companies and compare.

The only one that came up was Allstate Insurance. However, once you start the process, the website states you must contact an agent for a quote as it cannot be done online.

This clearly was a waste of my time to get only one quote that could not even provide a quote. This goes against what their website states.

This is just another spammer website.

I would never do business with them again. I was using them for live transfer and the leads got progressively worse over time. It got to the point that half of the calls never made it to me since the customer would hang up. Then when I would process a return it would get rejected. My only regret is that I did not cancel long ago.

QuoteWizard hires Indian call center scammers to call people on the Do Not Call list. They are scum of the earth.

Lots of spam calls.

This company uses third party call centers located in either Pakistan or India to get by the do not call registry. Also the individual who calls you will stay on the phone and listen in to all of your personal information that is given to the representative for said company.

HORRIBLE!! Don't trust them whatsoever.

This company dies not return agents calls. They take agents money by providing disconnected numbers..The have no remorse in retaining business. If you are an Agent look for another company to do business with.

Their leads are aged, not valid phone # and shared with multiple agents within the same company. Never waste your time with a phony lead company!

Rating over one star is fake or AI generated. This company should be banned business again and the owner should be jailed. Their ads are complete lies.

WTF, awful! Terrible customer service. I was checking on Homeowners Insurance and when I spoke with Autumn she was so freakin' rude and unprofessional I will NEVER deal with these scumbags again! Not only that, I called the number back and the new person was the same way, rude unprofessional and just hung up on me. THEY SUCK!!!

I spent money for leads which were not provided. It is a nightmare trying to contact them. The sales person Patrick Mooney only knows how to call when he wants to sign you up and then he disappears after that and does not help in any way. I am still waiting for leads that never came. I am now demanding a refund.

They claim to filter mobile homes on premium homeowner leads. If the mobile home in 1976 or newer they then claim it is a manufactured home and refuse to credit. LOL This is a joke! Who is going to pay top dollar for mobile home leads? Not this agent. Another customer gone!

I should of used my better judgement before applying a $1000 deposit to this account. Nonetheless, we should of just flushed it down the toilet. These leads are terrible, reused and not good. We switched to the live leads and lets just say that was a bigger slap in the face. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

I have sold life & medical insurance for over 40 years. I fell for what was to be a ONE TIME scam charge of "$250" for Quote Wizard leads in November 2024 for ACA health and life insurance leads. Only weeks later did I see on my VISA that they were charging me another $200/DAY for 15 or so days in December 2024! I received 21 WORTHLESS "leads" that either no one answered, replied, or had any interest! ZERO!! When I found out about the 16 days of $200 charges, I called them the first week of February and reported these "unauthorized" charges. On my next VISA bill they credited back $100/day....BUT charged me AGAIN for those very same charges!! They now REFUSE to credit back these fraudulent thefts!! I suggest that anyone considering doing business with these thieves and scammers to be extremely cautious and prudent with your decision! FYI---I have NEVER before written an online complaint about a phony and disreputable outfit like this!!
