Tried to sign up joint savings, terrible process, outdated site, denied likely because husband enters our address differently than my auto input...not worth the time or aggravation. Will move my money elsewhere...lot's of competitive rates right now, plenty of banks will be more than happy to have my money
Ray, Marcelo, Patricia, Vasiliki....make an amazing team. I was literally 10 days from target closing date when my bank decided to give me unreasonable list of conditions for my conditional approval. I jumped ship and called several lenders. Decided to go with Quontic because Marcelo was a straight talking broker that keeps it real. Hard to find these days. Ray treats every deal like his life depends on it. Love that about him. Patricia and Vasiliki were on the ball with every task and deadline. They returned every text message and phone call. I couldn't believe how fast they got this done. Honestly, they were hands down the best team I've ever used. I was in a tight spot and they came through for me. I used this company for my personal home...but moving forward will use for my investment properties as well. They know what they are doing.
I needed to withdraw several thousand dollars for a sudden and unexpected family emergency which required me to travel overseas. I needed the money right away but was told I had to complete a lengthy and detailed online form (5-6 pages long) before they would allow me to make the withdrawal. My stressful situation was made worse by Quontic's refusal to allow me to make a simple online withdrawal for a few thousand dollars without going through a series of hoops. I have since closed my Quontic account and moved on to a more reasonable online bank.
They make you link your bank to deposit money to open the account before determining if they will approve you or not. I was immediatley unapproved because they I moved five months ago and whatever system they are using couldn't verify my address. They are not even giving me the opportunity to provide proof of address. Even though they declined my application they added me to the spam list and I had to unsubscribe. ABSOLUTLEY DO NO RECCOMEND.

Having now bought multiple properties with the help of the team over at Quontic they really make the process very straightforward. Shoutout to Ray, Marcelo & Vasiliki for always being there to assist and making sure the deals got done quickly!
I had a very happy experience dealing with Marcelo, Ray, and their entire team. They made the process easy! I would definitely recommend them.
We didn't really get to try out their services. They rejected our application but can't tell us why. "Their system only gives general information ". Everything seems correct on the application and we were trying to deposit $100k. If you apply a second time and get rejected you are banned for life. This was confirmed by two different customer service reps.
I refinanced my construction loan to a permanent mortgage with Quontic and the entire team was outstanding to work with. They all pushed hard to get the loan closed quickly. I highly recommend them.
As stressful as a mortgage process can be, and it was, I have to acknowledge all the patience, kindness and guidance with which the whole Quontic team demonstrated throughout the entire process. Marcelo Bianchi (a truly empathetic people's person) in the beggining of the process and Patricia Almodovar towards the end and most exhausting part of it did everything they could to assure me that things would work out as smooth as they possibly could, to which I am very thankful.
Spent two days dealing with a Quontic robot which gave me the feeling of living in one of Isaac Asimov's science fiction books. The list of reasons for denial in Quontic email had four possible reasons. I ruled out three (address, phone, public records) but noticed in the Quontic FAQs that likely my technology did not meet the latest device/OS requirements. So if one has a high credit score, lives financially and otherwise stable life with the same address and phone number for ages it still not good enough for the robot banker. Electronic device is more important. I did not get the CD that offered a higher rate than my current financial institution but now I am glad. No one know when robot decides something (like my money does not belong to me and I will not be able to prove it to the machine) and no one can override the robot-made decision, at least according to the Quontic customer service. Was Ella on the Quotic customer service chat and phone a human or an AI sounding like human? Please be foreworned.

I attempted to open an account with Quontic Bank recently, and my application was declined. No specific reason was given, but they did state that it was NOT as a result of a credit check. It appeared they had declined based on my identity verification. Strange, as I have had my present address and landline phone number for more than 10 years, and I have been doing business with my present brick-and-mortar bank for more than 10 years as well. I have a valid state ID (which is what they requested, along with a Social Security number which I have held for more than 50 years), as well as a valid US passport. My identity has never been questioned before.
I called Quontic to get an explanation, but they were unable (or unwilling) to provide one. I received two "emails" from them the following day, however these emails were actually links to a "customer portal" - please remember I was NOT a customer; they had declined my application. I also received a phone call from Quontic, not on the landline number I left with them but rather on a cellphone number they had acquired with called ID from the inquiry call I had made to them earlier.
I found the whole situation a bit dodgy - emails linking me to an "account" they had refused to open and thereby keeping all the correspondence on their own servers so I would have no copies. And the customer service rep who telephoned me seemed far less interested in figuring out why my identity was being questioned and far more interested in getting me to open a different type of account. She said they would investigate the identity verification issue only after I had opened this second account. Very strange indeed.
Quontic Bank had already acquired a great deal of my personal information - name, address, DOB, SSN, state ID number, landline number, cellphone number, email address - and not only did I not have an account, but I had neither an explanation for why nor a guarantee that the information they had acquired would remain confidential.
Way too sketchy for me.
UPDATE - It seems Quontic has provided a response suggesting that the problem has resulted from a report from ChexSystems. ChecxSystems reports problems with bank accounts - bounced checks, unpaid fees, etc. - and they had previously advised me that the rejection of my application was NOT as the result of a ChexSystems report. I have been with my present bank for more than 10 years with no problems whatsoever and frankly, I resent the implication. I am appalled that they have attempted to deflect my complaint by implying that I am in some way at fault. If it wasn't so offensive it would be laughable. As I said, way too sketchy...

I had an issue after changing my email into an iCloud "Hide my Email" address, I was unable to change it back through the website.
After contacting customer support, helped me through the process of changing my email back to my normal one.
I've used all forms of their customer support; call, chat, & email, never had an issue!
I have several cd account in several banks,but quontic is always on time and the 1 th one to transfer the cd returns every month.great bank
Horrible. Absolutely horrible. In the process of funding account, initial funds returned for some reason and I worked on fixing that. They closed my account and nothing I can do about it
Unfortunately, I regret my decision to open an account at Quontic. On the positive side, they offer VERY competitive rates and their customer service is also very good. On the bad side, I have had much difficulty DEPOSITING money into my account! For some reason Quontic makes it very difficult to deposit sums of money larger than $2000 at a time. Also, the monthly deposit limit adds to the frustration. The bottom line is you may get a relatively high interest rate, but it will take a LONG TIME to move a large sum of money into a Quontic account. I've never experienced anything like this at any other online bank. I'd recommend Ally Bank over Quontic.
