I recently bought from QD for the first time on line. I bought a Pringles advent calendar amongst other things. The calendar was bashed and damaged. I contacted customer service who apologies and immediately refunded my money asking me to dispose of said calendar in a responsible manner - that’s customer service

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! Wish I’d read reviews before I ordered, ordered weeks ago and still no sign of delivery. I emailed customer service who advised I’d get an email when the items had been shipped, but I’m still waiting on that email. Luckily I didn’t spend too much on the site but definitely DO NOT ORDER from here, as you won’t be seeing the items, and no refund will be given.

I feel this company is using Covid as an excuse for extremely poor customer service. Having already taken payment from my card without even having dispatched the items, I am still sat waiting for a reply to my email two weeks on. The phone takes you around in a loop 'thanking you for your patience...' Other, far smaller companies are also dealing with 'difficult situations' and 'unprecedented demand' but managing to dispatch items in a week. QD seems to think a 30 day turn around is acceptable! I will not be using this firm again.

Placed my order online and then came to trust pilot and read the reviews and was immediately concerned! A week after ordering there was still no sign of a dispatch email so I contacted customer services who replied within 24 hours with the usual copy & paste response that they’re very busy right now and they will let me know when the order has been dispatched. To my surprise I DID receive a dispatch email a full week later (2 weeks after the order was placed). It took almost 3 weeks after ordering but today I received my full order via Parcelforce who texted me a time delivery slot and actually came early. It was packaged brilliantly, with plenty of bubble wrap and packing to keep my items safe in transit. Overall I am happy, even more so after the initial panic from reading these reviews! I cannot speak for the returns policy as I have no need to return. I felt inclined to leave a positive review on the sea of negative ones for anyone like myself who might panic if they read these after already ordering!

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered online on the 11th Oct to the value of over £300. Items were sent out with DHL the following week and there was no house number on the consignment. After messing about with DHL for a week providing them with the correct address they sent it back to the retailer. We contacted customer services at Quality Discounts over a week ago and no reply, despite trying again. Contact number on the site doesn't get you through to a real person. Thank god we payed with PayPal as we have raised a dispute. Do not use this company.

If only I could give no stars. Absolute rubbish store in Bedford. Take your money but will not give refunds only credit notes, which is no good to me.
I am moving house and have now lost £35!!!
This is the only shop in Bedford that gives credit notes!!
They are just theives, avoid them!!

Bought a Christmas tree with flashing lights. Enquired before purchase if the lights could be controlled as I wasn’t keen on the fast flashing which was what was being demonstrated in the shop. I was told that yes you can alter them there is a switch. On trying the tree out at home I found that there was no control so took the item straight back to the shop only to be told it was company policy to only exchange or issue a credit note not a refund. When I argued the point I was told there are notices stating this. Yes indeed there were but not shown prominently. The cashier pointed to two notices beside me which were particularly hidden by merchandise, you would need x-ray vision to spot them. Needless to say I’m now stuck with a credit note which I doubt I will ever use as I won’t be going back any time soon.

QD are not upholding the plastic bag tax. The lady on the checkout went to place my purchases in a carrier bag without asking and without charging for the bag, which I thought was a legal requirement. It is all retailer's responsibility to reduce the amount of plastic that packaging creates, not to add more to the tons of it floating in the oceans.

Ordered garden furniture set. Ordered 2nd September delivered 21st September. It wasn't till after I'd ordered that I realized it can take up to 21 days for delivery. I panicked after checking the reviews last week. No need as I am happy that I received the delivery this morning at 6:50am. The delivery company called yesterday morning to let us know it would be an early delivery. If you are in any doubt when ordering use a credit card for protection. I could have got the set discounted to the same price locally at a garden centre but that didn't include the cushions and parasol. I probably would use this company again.

First time ordering with company and never again. Delivery time was given as 3 to 5 days. I'm still waiting for item 11 days after despatch email. Telephone service is only taking order calls not order queries. Social media messages are not being monitored. Comments posted on Facebook asking for refund are deleted. Received one email after chasing for a tracking no, to get tracking reference but no courier company details. Finally get told courier company for tracking reference to advise will only update on delivery. Shocking customer service !!!

DO NOT USE EVER !!! Never received purchase , zero customer service , zero communication , and no way of getting product or money back. If ANYONE says they are good......they are part of this scam !!

Do not use this company. Rang several times about refund over three weeks still no further. Should have read reviews.

WARNING!!!! do not use .... you will not receive the goods you have paid for ..... they will not deliver.... It’s a scam. Buy from a reputable company that uses a reputable courier or you will be out of pocket like me and many others ......still waiting

Do NOT use this company. I purchased a garden dining set and chairs from this company in May-2019. Last Friday, the glass table shattered for no other reason than the heat of the day (32 degrees) - fortunately no was injured as my wife and children weren't home and I was working upstairs at the time. However, the photos of how the glass broke and where it landed (on the chairs) show they would have been had they been sat on the stairs. This company was totally uninterested in investigating the reasons behind it and only try to avoid blame. Refused to pull the product from sale even temporarily whilst they investigated the issue. Clearly we expected a table such as this to be able withstand the relatively mild heat of a British summer and it can't.

Only wish I had read the reviews on this company before making this purchase

First time ordered from this site and wont order again. My goods did not arrive. I received an email advising that they were damaged at Warehouse. I understand accidents happen but there is no one to discuss the problem with. Contacted customer service who gave loads of information but nothing relating to my query. I understand things are a bit slower at present but don't take orders if you cannot support the customer when things go wrong.

I searched everywhere for a 2 seat bistro set. Found one on QD via google at a good price. Ordered it. Then saw the bad reviews. I'm relieved to say the item arrived within 5 days of ordering. I had regular email updates. The table has a slight fault on the underneath of it but it cannot be seen. I'm extremely happy with my purchase from qd. Thankyou

They wait over two months,while hanging on to your money,to tell you they cannot fulfill order. Never answer emails and should be avoided at all times

We are in the process of legal action concerning this company , I am fortunate to be able to find the funds to pursue this company that you pay for goods yet fail to receive , right to the point we send Baliffs to recover money spent plus expenses to recover all we are owed .
I will not stop until we recover every single penny plus our expenses , Disgusting and Fruadulent company that have not the slightest respect for their customers !

I received broken/damaged goods after waiting 2 weeks for my delivery which involved emails about my order to even get it dispatched!!
Goods were broken and after several emails i have still not recieved a reply.
I will wait a few more days then escalate a complaint further. They clearly have one of THE worst customer service. Don't waste your time with this company.

Product misrepresented on website, it clearly stated that no assembly was required which influenced my decision to buy. It arrived damaged and in seven different pieces with no screws, bolts etc.
