Glad to have this company back after the pandemic
I bought my original Q-See four camera system in 2008. In 2010 expanded it to the 16 camera system. I've always been pleased with the way the cameras & dvr system worked, until it finally stopped recording all 16 channels and lost two of the camera feeds in Oct 2024. 10 years that equipment lasted, running 24/7!!
I was so happy to see that Q-See was back after going out of business during the pandemic. I bought a new 16 channel DVR. As soon as I plugged in this new DVR I saw the two cameras working that had gone out on the old one!
The only drawback to the new Q-See company is that they no longer offer a ddns service so I can remotely View my cameras when I'm away from home. There is supposedly a way to set it up using one of the free ddns services, but I have not been able to figure out how to do it. They do provide instructions on their website, but not for the AT&T modem router I have.
