Well - despite my initial negative experience, I must add that the seller contacted me and explained mitigating circumstances which were beyond his control and sent a tracking number and assurance of full refund, should the product not arrive on time - . :) My reluctance to proceed after initial lack of contact was coloured by the fact that we were recently scammed (by a different company) out of E300 with firewood and I started to have worries. We are all a bit short of money these days....

On the 18th August I ordered 3 items, received 3 wrong items and could not contact the store by email or phone. I submitted a Paypal claim after waiting a week or so and out of the blue I get a phonecall from some guy, truth be told I didnt even listen to the message. Sent out 2 of the order though I ordered 3 and I lost my claim and am so disappointed in Paypal.
Now I have 5 unwanted items and e35 out of pocket.

I ordered a chimney cowl from purchase.ie last november. I got an invoice for 204.95 euros and paid in full. when the article arrived it was poorly package and damaged beyond repair. I suggested to Colm that he refunds Euros 100 to settle the issue and he agreed - all this is on e-mail. After many phone calls (unanswered) and e-mails he finally said he couldn't locate the order so I sent him a copy of his invoice and the paper trail confirming his agreement to refund 100euros. Since then nothing - no calls answered and no refund. I doubt I will ever see the refund and I consider purchase.ie as untrustworthy and not to be dealt with

Ordered and paid for items 30th April no sign of items .no answer to phone or email. Is this guy just taking money off people and not supplying. The items I ordered are in stock or so it says on site

Bought light fitting adapter. Seller didn't ship item. Payed through Paypal, cancelled order got refund through Paypal but received unapologetic abusive message left in mailbox by Colm Griffin- Managing Director. Recording of message left reported and handed to Gardaí Salthill, Paypal, and Eir.

Do not buy from this company. Read the multiple negative reviews.

The reply to this review is utter fiction. I have a receipt from Paypal (Who issued the refund) and never received any communication from seller. Was told on the message left (recorded) I could seek my refund from Paypal... which I did. The seller is an internet bully and a lying fraud and likes the term "Keyboard warrior" but has no idea what that means.

*Incidentally, who gave you permission to contact me by phone, Paypal have a messaging facility. Were you perhaps too afraid to put what you said in writing if called to account? I dare you to honestly write what you said in the message you left.

**If you feel threatened by sellers like this, please do not hesitate to report them to the Garda and any organization in which they are also employed. They are a blight on Irish online businesses and thankfully will not be tolerated for long.**

I have ordered 2 oil tank gauge from this company, they haven't arrived yet, ordered 16 of march, 1 month ago,.
No answer from any of their numbers or email.
I have received a call from the company today, they are out of stock, all I needed was an answer to say this, I was worried that it wasn't a legitimate company but it is and I received a full refund, thanks for contacting me.

Ordered item two weeks ago. Money taken by seller. Receipt sent.

That's it though. No actually delivery of goods. 5 attempts at contact and no response. Requested refund and no response. Either they don't exist anymore or it's a scam.

Now I've to go through the bank to get my money back.

Do not use or pay money to this website, it'll disappear.

My daughter ordered Bakerstone Pizza oven on 12th May. It was a birthday present for her Dad. Pizza oven never arrived.
Phone calls eventually answered. Once!
Colm personally guaranteed delivery for last Friday 16th.
No delivery and no communication.
A very untrustworthy company. Would never recommend this site.

I ordered a small green/house thermometer. It came in 2 working days. Neat and functional little device.

Didn't have item type in stock when l ordered online. So recieved call from seller to make me aware of this, plus immediate refund onto PayPal.

My last order (#314363) was a Far Infrared Heating Panel and I'm pleased to say I'm very happy with it. This is my second one, having been so pleased with the first one. They really do source interesting and useful products. Worth having a browse even if you're not looking for anything in particular as I didn't even know these panels existed until I saw them here.

They were super fast processing the order. I ordered it on Monday and received it 2 days later. I had to email them with a question and got a speedy reply.
The bulb is doing exactly what it's meant to do, walk by it and it comes on and goes off in 30 seconds if no movement. Perfect for my dark hallway where I don't have to fumble for a switch when I come home.

Purchase.ie have good products and they are relatively local to me, so I'm happy to support a local business that is reliable. I had a query with my last order (313275), though, and never got a reply - I eventually fixed the issue myself, but it would've been nice to hear something back, at least. Still, I've never had any other issues, so I'll happy to go back in the future.

Ordered two items extractor light fitting & aerator power shower head arrived extremely quickly no issues.both products look good quality.shower head working well stronger flow as advertised. Light fitting not fitted yet but looks good.would recommend purchase.ie
