LIES, LIES, LIES!
This company ….
1) product was NOT the best at project scheduling as they claimed
2) stated the software was used by more companies than any other pm software (update: when I questioned this, they removed the claim from their voice mail)
3) did not answer the phone OR return phone calls (update: they want you to think they are a real business)
4) Charged me AND OTHERS even though we did not continue to use their software (update: said that they sent emails to me, but never received)
5) only out to make money based on my interaction with them

If your company is less than 5 person…
If your company is less than 5 person don't even bother with this crap cause they will make you pay for 5 users nevertheless. I had been billed. Login and cancelled my account and it stat that I could still continue using for the month. Suddenly, the account can not be access anymore. Money grabber company, STEER CLEAR AT ALL COST.

Do not trust Projectmanager.com for enterprise use! We have been requesting a refund since April 2020 with little to no response and they plan to continue billing us until 2023 for an unused program. We now have Ben Holland as our Customer Success Manager and he is now ignoring calls and emails.
BE AWARE—FRAUDULENT COMPANY
I urge you to stay very far away from this fraudulent and unethical company. Especially if you are thinking about considering a "Free Trial."
ProjectManager billed my credit card for over a year without authorization and currently owes us nearly $1,000. We are currently pursuing legal action. The credit card company has confirmed that PM is indeed conducting illegal and unethical billing practices.
This review may be long, but it is crucial that any prospective customer or consumer, especially individuals and small businesses, read this BEFORE handing over any personal credit card information.
ProjectManager makes it impossible for you to delete your credit card and personal information even after canceling your "free trial." PM will continue to withdraw money from your account without your knowledge or authorization.
I emailed Project Manger over 12 times before writing a negative review, which prompted an immediate response from their "Customer Success Manager," Ben Holland, who left several voice messages and emails pleading with me to call back and remove my review.
Mr. Holland admitted that my emails were received but were "buried," and only now discovered….this isn't true because I received responses to nearly every email. A few of these emails came from Ben Holland himself, who claimed that this all happened (and I quote) "prior to" his "involvement."
Despite the overwhelming evidence I provided proving that I had canceled my membership the same day I signed up for the supposedly "free trial," PM refused to issue a refund. Additionally, I pointed out several inconsistencies and contradictions listed in their terms--something I brought to the attention of the BBB, FTC, and our State's Attorney General (to name a few).
I handed all calls over to my husband, a senior level manager who investigates and reports fraudulent activity by companies and high profile individuals directly to the FBI, SEC, and other relevant regulatory authorities.
In exchange for removing my review, Mr. Holland agreed to refund the $900 PM owed us. My husband requested something in writing be sent to my email stating that a refund was being processed. Shortly thereafter, I received the following email from Ben Holland on May 27, 2021:
"Thanks for speaking with me this morning. As we discussed on the call, I have refunded $900 paid to us for your account in exchange for removing the negative review left on the site XXXXX. Again, I apologize for the manner in which this was handled prior to my involvement. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out."
My response was, "do you have any formal confirmation on your end that you can send me so I have a digital copy showing PM refunded my account?"
Several days pass without a response, so I reach out to him again. "I'm just checking in because I have not heard back and the refund still has not come through. Do you have any verification?"
June 1, he responded, "…I wanted to confirm that we have refunded $900 to the account that was on file. However, this can take up to 5 business days to process." He had yet to provide any formal proof of this refund.
I responded with an email confirming I pulled down my review; in fact, I forwarded him the actual email from the site stating that "We have removed your review of ProjectManger from the site. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do."
Again, I requested verification of a refund: "Do you have any form of confirmation on your end that you can send me so I have a digital copy showing PM refunded my account?"
His response: "I've confirmed with our billing department that this has been processed on our end, so please keep an eye out for the refunded charge."
My husband interjected at that point, writing: "Ben, we still do not have any indication or evidence that the $900 refund was processed. At your earliest convenience, please provide us with a confirmation screen, reference number, or some other proof that the refund has been requested/issued. We await your response."
Since our agreement over a month ago, Ben Holland has not responded to any emails or phone calls since I removed my review.
It is essential for anyone reading this to read the below email I sent PM back in May (it exceeds the number of characters allowed in this post). It highlights the inconsistencies and other serious issues with PM's billing terms. I believe it will help anyone facing similar problems with ProjectManager or, at the very least, discourage anyone considering joining.
I feel that we have been EXTREMELY patient and cooperative but were taken advantage of every step of the way.
For your own good, steer clear.

Getting used to it; needs improvements
Our workplace switched to ProjectManager after using Slack, Tick, and Basecamp. So far, I can see the reasons ProjectManager will be good (e.g., centralizing communication, hours tracking, and project tracking; ability to break each project down into multiple tasks assigned to each person), but it isn't quite there yet. Some current pain points: (1) inability to use on mobile. Sometimes when I'm away from my computer, I just need to reply to a comment to tell my coworker when I will be able to get to the request; I currently can't do that from my phone. (2) hours logging: if I log hours in a task, but then that task gets removed/changed/deleted, then those hours are no longer part of any report that is generated. (3) notifications: I can't figure out a way to STOP getting notified of things that I don't need to know (e.g., I get a new ping every time someone is added to a project, regardless of my involvement in that project). Also, when I DO want to be notified of something, I wish I could get an audible ping or desktop popup so I don't miss it. (4) messaging: sometimes you just want to message someone quickly outside the confines of a project, and email isn't the right way. I wish PM had an "instant message" function.

No way to cancel after Free Trial - they just keep charging your card for $75 per month
A few months back, I was approached by Racheal Morris - an outreach specialist at ProjectManager.com - she wanted me to review their new cloud based Project Management collaboration tool and mention them on a blog post.
To do this, required I sign up for a "free trial." Unfortunately for the privilege of this "free" trial, I had to enter in a functioning credit card. There is no place on their site to cancel this "free trial." Now month three into this, they have successfully charged my credit card $75 per month - twice. Despite reaching out to them via email and the phone to cancel my account and refund my credit card AFTER the first charge.
I have since disputed the charges on my credit card. But jeez oh pete folks - SERIOUSLY. If you want to be a reputable business, then please act reputably. Make it very transparent HOW to cancel your account if you don't want to use it past the free trial. When someone wants to cancel at any point, make it possible to cancel and by all means, DO NOT keep charging their credit card AFTER they have already cancelled.
Folks, take a pass on projectmanager.com one - there is no place to cancel the account after your free trial.

This ProjectManager Tools has great sandbox and toolkits that has helped me tremendously on my projects and using create templates needed!! I highly recommend this tool for any companies standard operations procedures toolkit.

BEWARE FREE TRIAL...getting out is worse than a gym membership!
PROS
Easy to use and deploy. Cheaper cost of entry than the better optioins available.
CONS
1. You don't own your data. No exit strategy. Data security.
2. Customer service is ATROCIOUS. Rude email replies, no phone service.
3. Onerous billing practices (which are clearly laid out in the fine print of their terms & conditions.)
4. Unwillingsness to let you leave. They will continue to bill you to the full extent of their terms...like it or not. READ THE FINE PRINT. It reminds me of a gym membership.
WARNING: I WOULD NOT SUGGEST ANY GOVERNMENT OR BUSINESS USERS ADOPT THIS SOFTWARE. I WILL MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO MY STATE GOVERNMENT TO AVOID THIS VENDOR.
The worst part of this software, is the company behind the software.
Not the type of subscription service I would trust.
Doesn't send you an email when your subscription renews (I'm not talking about at the end of the trial) and offers no way to cancel on their portal. You have to search via their help documents, then email them. Not the type of subscription service I would trust.
