*Update*

Neutral - after a bad review (well deserved in my opinion for the service I received) - the owner did get in touch and processed a full refund (which I had not requested). So changing to Neutral. I did not get the impression that this is a company I would ever recommend though, in the end I was accused to be the unreasonable one for thinking that one may have expected a prompt response after a survey. Rather than thinking of you as a paying customer for a service, it feels almost like they are doing you the favour that you can do business with them!

Very unhappy with the service. They are very good at selling but once they take the money, they don’t really care anymore.
They said they would take care of arranging the date with the estate agent, but they messed up the initial booking (they booked the wrong date) and then the estate agent told me they had to ask to rearrange the visit. They didn’t flag to the agent that they needed also access to the loft so they never got the right keys to check it. The report I received was mostly generic commentary / appeared to be AI generated, didn’t cover the loft which I had been told would be covered when we had arranged it on the phone / booked the survey. We then agreed with the surveyor that I could go and visit the property and take some pictures / videos of the loft and that they were happy to take a look at the video / photos - I sent them 2 emails since then and nearly 3 weeks have gone past and did not receive a single email response back.

The report they prepared also contained a key factual error - they said the property was built in 2021, when instead has been built in 2012 - I asked them if they could please resend the report fixing the typo for my own records, they told me on the phone it was not a problem, but I have got nothing since we last spoke 3 weeks ago.

I am now close to complete the transaction and frankly I feel this survey was a big waste of money, didn’t cover the key part of the house, it was just a very expensive photoshoot and something that ChatGPT could have written.

I would suggest you pick a more reputable and established surveyor.

Project & Survey have provided a review for us previously and we returned for another property as the service is outstanding. Incredibly thorough and easy to interpret with photos detailing all of the issues. Gordon scheduled a follow-up phone call to discuss potential costs we might foresee and how to approach various companies. I can't give a stronger recommendation.

I had a level 3 RICS survey on a share of freehold victorian era flat conversion conducted by Gordon. The report was very thorough and Gordon explained the results to me over the phone very clearly and articulately, and demonstrated great knowledge in his field.

Really strong report and timely delivery

We were very impressed with the service offered by Project & Survey, from first interaction to delivered survey.
The price was excellent (lower than two other surveyors we contacted), and the finished survey report was concisely and clearly written, fully explained and featured detailed photographs. The drone shots were especially helpful and revealing.
The turnaround was speedy, I think about seven days from booking the survey to delivered report.
We would definitely use Project & Survey again, and recommend to anyone.

Fast, efficient, good customer service, and the surveyor who actually did the job was one of the specialists who supervised maintenance and renovation works in the area where we are buying, so he knew everything about the property. Good waiting time, less than 2 weeks between booking and the actual survey. Also, very decent pricing compared to the competition.

Report was really thorough and only took 3 days to turnaround after the survey. Lots of bespoke detail about the construction. Gordon did a follow-up call with me to go through the issues found. Very professional and really felt like I got my money's worth.

Gordon undertook a Level 2 survey for a property we are seeking to purchase and we were really impressed by Gordons diligence, service and rigor as part of the survey conducted. Gordon is thorough and conveys the findings in a very digestible manner in his detailed and very well written report which includes a wide number of helpful pictures of all the aspects of the property. Gordon spent time patiently explaining items to us during a call after sending the report and is highly knowledgeable with an excellent eye and attention for detail. We also really valued that Gordon was transparent on the differences between Level 2 and Level 3 reports and was not just pushing for us to get the most expensive one.

Gordon was awesome for my report!

I used several surveyors before for other purchases, but no one likes him. His super polite, efficient, very detailed and very carefully checked everything. He also called me immediately after the survey to go through almost everything on the phone. And the survey report was delivered to me much earlier than the expected date.

Over all I will give him 5 STARS, and recommend to everyone who needs the survey. And I will definitely use him again in the future!

Gordon was very detailed, helped us to negotiate snagging points and signed off on the (basic) snagging works. Would highly recommend for detailed building surveys.
