They are the WORST company in Cyprus

They are the WORST company in Cyprus, super low tech, horrible customer service, signal is terrible, when your travel in Europe its impossible to use their line
If you need urgently help from them THEY WONT HELP YOU, I lost my phone while traveling and got new one, they force you to go to a physical store back in Cyprus in order to get you your eSIM!!! Plus they charge you for it!!!! You stuck abroad with no banking cuz you can’t get sms and your mobile company betrayed you.
WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE USE THEM

Totally unhelpful

Totally unhelpful. They overcharged me €70 and they won’t tell me where I called. Rip off and an absolute scam. I visited their shop 4 times now and they still can’t tell me where I called.

I have been with Primtel for five…

I have been with Primtel for five years. The last 1 year of services was unacceptable. Freezing internet, interrupted phone calls, and I live in the center of Limassol. When I complained, they only changed the settings on my phone and they say that they will chek it. I went there many times but nothing change Finally, I decided to canceled the contract, and they want to charge me for an additional month and a penalty for terminating the contract wchicz was not my fault.I switched to Cyta and I am very satisfied with the services of Cyta. Just make mistake to wait so long and belive that they will fix the isuee. .Do not recommend Primtel to anyone !!!.

Zero Transparency, Hidden Fees and 4 Week Connection Time - Shocking

Shows low monthly fees online, you give all your details in an online form but then are asked to go to a branch - pain in the ass.

You’ll spend 30 minutes in the branch whilst someone types up your information, only after which you’re slapped in the face with all the hidden fees which are essentially for the same thing:

20 euro - installation fee
25 euro - registration fee
24 euro - provision of new line

Plus VAT

Then they hit you with “installation will be within 4 weeks, maybe more”. 69 euros in connection fees with a 4 week wait period.

Payment of the first month fee in advance, by which you apparently confirm installation, with no indication as to when that might be.

Infuriating.

I'm beyond frustrated with them

I'm beyond frustrated with them! Despite their team being kind, they seem powerless to fix the continuous issues plaguing my internet service. It's not just occasional disruptions; it’s multiple times a day, sometimes even a whole day without service. I've called them countless times, even had technicians over, but nothing changes. It’s unacceptable. They should at least offer a backup device or a discount on months when the service fails. It's unfair to miss important work meetings and lose hours of productivity while still paying full price as if nothing’s wrong.

I switched to another operator and did…

I switched to another operator and did not immediately notify PrimeTel about my departure. They wrote to me by email that I needed to pay a fine for premature termination of the contract and charged me a rather large bill. They said that they could not contact me, although they themselves gave me this phone number. In addition, they threaten to sue if I don’t pay the fine within 7 days. When I asked to email me a copy of my contract, they said that they did not have such an opportunity. My contract only states “the terms of the penalty for termination of the contract can be found in the document on our website.” And when you look at this document on the website, they send you to look for information about the fine on another page of the website, which you still need to find.

Don't mess with these deceivers

Scam of a company

Poor services and high costs. It’s ridiculously hard to terminate services with them. I left Cyprus in June 2023 and they have been billing me for their services for months despite attempts to terminate it, because customer support ignored my requests. A scam of a company, should have never signed with them.

They get new customers by misleading them with misinformed terms and conditions

I signed a contact for 9.99eur unlimited all.
Without notice or consent, and of course against our written contract:
1. they charged me without discount for the 1st month
2. they told me 1.5 months later that my discount is only valid for the first 12 months of my 24-month contract
3. they tried to charge my account without having acquired my written consent for monthly standing orders

I have been expecting their customer support to provide me with proof that there is indeed such information for their customers somewhere on their website, because in my contract no such things are mentioned. I have been emailing and calling them. They keep saying they will get back to me, but it has been 11 days and all they did was try to charge my card for the overcharged bill.

HORRIBLE service, change of contracts without any alert

i signed a contract for 2 devices with the black friday deal. the woman at the till took 45 minutes to complete the forms. after completion when i finally went home i received another 15 emails. the woman had written all my details wrong, so when i went to pick up the devices from the store a few days later, the contract i had signed and paid with the lady could not be found at the store. i redid the contracts, signed the papers, another 1 hour at the store with the lady. they then made me pay an aditional fee of 27euros which was never mentioned when signing the contract to find out that they can only give me 1 of the devices, but i still had to wait a few days and revisit the store; so that would probably mean another hour. it has now been 3 weeks that i am waiting for the device and being accused of lying to the woman for writing the details down wrong.
AVOID PRIMETEL! all deals and offers might change without any warning, and ask for more money.

Fabricate bills

I joined them a month ago and missed out on Black Friday deals, anyhow, bill is 9.99 a month, 2 months later they request 30.00 euros after I paid 10.00 saying the first month is not discounted. I explained that it still does not add up. No service, I will cancel payments and let them chase me for money if this is not sorted. Profiteering at its best.

Not funny Primetel

Not funny Primetel , 5 weeks to get connected after 4 visits to two branches and a phone call two months ago telling me they were about to upgrade both addresses. I could go on but this cuts me off after a number of words.3 to five weeks to connect. I WILL TRY OTHERS.

Avoid them at all cost

Avoid them, bad service and 0 customer care. Cancelled my SIM card with no notice and now I can't access my OTPs anymore and they say the number is now deleted forever even if I contact them within a month from last time the SIM was active.
PS: they will sell your details from first second and you will get spammed with unrequired SMS marketing

Avoid primetel. Misleading and abusive pricing

1. The connection is awful. When I moved to another city the data stoped being proceeded.

2. Terms of use are misleading: I received a bill from you for €73.12 for June 2023, while my tariff is €11.99. I find this extremely abusive.

Charging €51.37 for 641.52 megabytes of data over the limit is misleading the user and dishonest over margin profiteering on service users. That's more than 4 monthly fees per tariff plan!

If one's data usage limit is exceeded - the operator should disable their data transfer. But they primetel charging a fabulous amount of money over the limit.

3. The counting of used megabytes in a data package is not transparent. It is impossible to know how much data is used on which day and for what services.

4. I skipped to another mobile operator immediately, but primetel charged me 39 EUR more for that.

5. I have reported this to OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS AND POSTAL REGULATIONS (Helioupoleos 12, 1101 Nicosia) by sending the appropriate form on their website ocecpr . ee . cy /content/complaint-form and I recommend everyone who's been misled by primetel to do the same.

please avoid primetel

i pay my august bill already on 4 september and today my internet is not working i go to my paimetel app and i check bills and here show august bill is due and also my internet is not working really shame on you primetel because you have no 24/7 support 👎🏻 i have only sunday off and my internet is not working how can i enjoy and how many time i pay 😡
