I booked a PPI on a vehicle from a west London dealership. The inspector arrived at the site to be informed that the vehicle had been sold. The inspector called to explain the situation. We arranged a basic vehicle inspection with Pre purchase inspections UK and it could not have gone more smoothly. Got a confirmation text the day before the inspection. When I called with a query the person I spoke with was friendly and helpful. The inspection report was thorough, accompanied by high quality photos, and was e-mailed to us within a couple of hours. Paid £95 plus VAT, which seemed very reasonable to us and was much cheaper than what we would have paid for similar services offered by the RAC, AA, etc. Would happily use again and recommend.

The service was great value for money and inspection was very thorough, Joe even went above and beyond to plug the vehicle into his computer even though I hadn't paid for the additional service. The report again was very thorough with lots of images and notes to give me a really clear indication of the quality of the vehicle. Not being very mechanically-minded, Joe then spent time with me over the phone explaining his findings in a really easy to understand way. Super friendly and knowledgeable - I'd recommend the service to anyone for peace of mind when buying a used vehicle!

Found this company online when I was looking for someone to do a pre purchase inspection on a cat s vehicle in London after another company had nobody available to do it.
The service I got from Joe from start to finish was excellent. He sent me over a sample report to review, and then I explained on my booking form that the vehicle was a cat s so I really needed a thorough inspection in that area of the car as well as the standard checks.
Joe turned up on time and called me as soon as the inspection was complete to go through his findings with me before sending me over the completed form with a load of photographs.
All in all, Joe’s thorough report saved me from traveling 200 miles to view it myself but with his expert eye he uncovered a dodgy repair job and stopped me shelling out £10k on a car that still needed a few thousand more of repairs doing.
Would definitely use again for any car inspections I needed in London. Top job.

Booked an inspection with PPIUK after being badly let down by the AA. An outstanding experience from start to finish - incredibly prompt booking with next day inspection available, very thorough report and the ability to chat through the results with the engineer. The report was unbiased and comprehensive, with detailed photos. No attempt to upsell any further service, no pressure, just a professional and objective assessment of the vehicle. I honestly wouldn't consider using anyone else in relation to future purchases!

You save me some serious headaches. The seller was forced to reduce over £1k of the price following the findings. I decided to still move on given all the corrosion, leaks , etc that i would have never seen.
