Customer Service is 100% efficient and…
Customer Service is 100% efficient and quick to respond. Prices are very competitive and I would use another time. I had to cancel through seller not available for collection and was disappointed as porta was excellent in every way. They text and email plus you can contact by phone.

Honestly, one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company.
I was promised a same-day delivery by 10 PM. It was a tight window, but they explicitly confirmed they could do it. Instead of just being honest when things got delayed, they strung me along every 30 minutes with 'he's almost there' until 1:30 AM.
At 1:30 AM, they finally admitted it wasn't coming and rescheduled for 9 AM–10 AM the next morning. But as soon as morning came, the exact same runaround started again. 'Only 30 minutes away,' 'just around the corner,' not answering the phone etc. over and over until the package actually showed up at 3 PM—17 hours late.
I had furious customers waiting on me the entire time, all because this company couldn't give me a straight answer and I had to partially refund . Avoid them if you're running a business

I'm sorry. The updates you were given weren't good enough, and that's on us.
This was booked at 3pm for delivery by 10pm the same day, and a 5h drive.
Roadworks held the courier up that night, and the next morning they had a medical emergency, which caused the second delay. Nobody could control the medical emergency, but we should have challenged the courier's ETAs and given you a straight answer much sooner.
A run of 'nearly there' updates until 1:30am, then again the next morning, isn't the standard we work to.
We'd already started looking into what happened, before this review went up.

Paul was so helpful in helping me alter my collection. This is the second time i've used Porta over other companies as the peace of mind of being able to get in contact with the team and courier is absolutley ideal. I also really appreciate being able to change the delivery and collection options. Highly recommend!

Great idea for a business and super helpful
Honestly this service was great and really helped me out when I was lost on how to transport my possessions after a break up. The driver was easy to contact and flexible and my things arrived safely a few hours later. Straightforward and helpful - I'd definitely recommend.

Used Porta for moving from Oxford to London. The booking experience was nice, but I wish they had narrower time windows as an option.
I got matched with a driver named Lio and he was very supportive and nice. He communicated well and gave regular updates. The delivery was conducted on time and was also open to make adjustments in his schedule to better suit my needs. I definitely recommend using Porta for the purposes of moving.

A bit informal but convenient
Porta Delivery was relatively inexpensive and convenient at a time when I needed it most. However, their couriers are often hired out to several other businesses which means your delivery may get delayed or dates changed at the last moment if they have other priorities. Porta has delivery partners who handle your request, they don’t have drivers themselves.

Highly recommended
Highly recommended, easy to book and track. I was provided with a telephone WhatsApp number for my driver Constantine. He waited for the vendor at the door patiently until she arrived to hand him the parcel. Constantine updated me regularly and delivered goods early and in a pristine condition. Well done PORTA delivery! Keep up the good work
