Porta wow! I am very impressed. I live in Oban, on the West Coast of Scotland. By much of the postal and courier industry it is seen as an "island". It is no more an Island than Birmingham. I did not expect Porta to even offer delivery here let alone rapidly but they absolutely came through. Went for the flexible collection and delivery option and David Potts the driver was very communicative, prompt, super friendly and polite on both sides of the job. Great value and price. Cannot fault.

The courier/driver Ross arrived bang on time, I didn't have to lift a thing, he did all the work and the wheels and tyres believe me were very heavy, he was friendly, knowledgable and explained the whole procedure of delivery clearly. If I ever need anything moving again it will be Porta I contact, great experience and at a good price.

Easy to book and easily outstripped the competition for price. My delivery partner changed at the last minute but it wasn’t a problem and was clearly communicated. The delivery person was super polite, careful and respectful of my property.

Great communication throughout. Was surprised it was not same day delivery at over £100 as other companies had offered this. However it was delivered the next day before 1am.

Spot on service from Porta
Spot on service from Porta.
I have previously used anyvan for collecting boxes of things ive won at auction houses around the country, this time they were so sloppy, they changed my pick up address when giving a quote with no explanation and then didnt respond for 4 days, despite chasers when I queried this and repeated the correct address.
So I found Porta instead.
The booking procedure was nice and easy, quick responses. They picked up my 7 boxes of memorabilia and 9:15am, 50 miles away and I had it before 10:30, Get given whatsapp details for your driver, who confirms times in advance, shows you photos of what he is collecting to ensure right (and that its the condition they pick it up I assume). Delivered quickly and safely. There were bottles, mirrors, pottery items all loose in open boxes and nothing was damaged. Driver Tom was friendly and responsive to messages. Great service. Reasonable price - it was £25 more than anyvan - but came direct to me without pick ups and drop offs in between so, being self employed on call, much better for me as I was able to work after 11am and not be sitting in all day. Worth the extra. This will be my go-to now.

Agent on phone was very efficient, My sofas were delivered a day earlier so very please. The deliver driver was pleasant and very helpful. I am extremely pleased with the whole outcome and would certainly use again
