Apart from the long wait and atrocious music on phone calls everyone has put themselves out to make a horrifying accident as pleasant and easy as possible. We were impressed by the two young lady engineers dealing with the nitty gritty, and making the offer, but the customer service people were all charmingly helpful too. We are grateful.

Policy expert claims dept have been very helpful on the telephone as we are elderly and unable to complete claim on line. They arranged a visit by technical drying team to fit in with my hospital appointment. Very helpful.
The young man, Gabriel, was very pleasant. He gave a pre arrival time and arrived on time. He explained what he had to do and why and worked very hard performing each task. He was pleasant throughout in what is a very difficult time for us. He explained the process going forward giving a time scale for each aspect of the claim giving reassurance throughout.

We have been blown away by the response…
We have been blown away by the response from the Policy Expert team, especially the building team.
From the first response team through to all the building teams involved, this is not been how I always thought a big Insurance claim would be. All of the people who have worked on the building claim have been extremely professional, courteous and compassionate.
We can’t thank everybody involved enough. Big shout out to Scott and all of his team, including the TruBuild guys. Plus the initial guys who came for the cleanup such as Mitch and Liam.

The two men (one named Maxwell, the other I can’t remember) that came round my property to start fixing the water damage were so professional and were very efficient. They were kind and conversational and started the job better than I expected. They made the experience better than I imagined.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid - Will the Managing Director take note?
I hope in doing this I will actually get the update from Trinity Claims (Now Policy Expert) that we have been waiting for since June. To provide the reader with an overview of our experience to-date... Our claim started back in Jan 2022. Yes you read that correctly 2022. After what can only be described as a terrible customer experience from the very start, we are now on our 3rd internal surveyor, the online customer portal is not fit for purpose. They promise a fast response to message on the portal (i think 3-4 weeks just for the message to be read is not fast) Yesterday I spoke with someone from the team, I asked to be put though to the surveyor to be told... They do not accept incoming calls. They can only call out? I'm sorry... what?
So a message for the Managing Director, who asked for his name not to be added in this review, but can easily be found on the internet, I have sent a message to the online portal asking for an update by close of play this Friday (23/10/2026) If I do not hear a reply, I will be going AGAIN to the financial ombudsman. The same financial ombudsman who has already ruled in our favour over your initial mistakes with the claim.
