My experience with PMI has been excellent. The PMP certification is internationally recognized, and PMI provides high-quality learning resources, standards, and professional development opportunities. The membership and local chapter activities have helped me continue growing as a project management professional. I highly recommend PMI to anyone pursuing a career in project management.

The examination covers extensively all areas of management and tested the real understanding of the PMP concepts.

Prior to the proctored exam, we watched a instructional video how to navigate the exam. This portion shouldn't be timed.

Earning my PMP certification has been a rewarding milestone in my professional journey. The certification process challenged me to think beyond project execution and develop a deeper understanding of project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and value delivery.

The PMI framework provides a practical and globally recognized standard that is applicable across industries. Preparing for the exam not only helped me pass the certification but also enhanced my confidence and effectiveness as a project leader.

I highly recommend the PMP certification to professionals looking to advance their careers in project management. It is a worthwhile investment that strengthens both knowledge and credibility.

Studyhall, bootcamp. exam practices could use some formatting updates.
The required bootcamp was very time intensive and was not compatible with my learning styles. Ms. Daniels was a good presenter; I found it very unhelpful to list out topics and suggest we google our own examples. I would have rather spent the 35 hours doing personal study than attend the 4 hour lecture series.
I liked the Study hall application- but the timing format does not align with the exam. The official exam should break out each section like the SH mock exams.

The 35 Mandatory In-Class hours were required, but the PMI Study Hall's material and questions were a Must ! The Study Hall helped solidify the PM mindset, and allowed me to experience the PMP exam's line of questioning and thought process. The Study Hall Plus subscription is a must, and well worth it.

The available content was excellent. The only thing preventing 5 stars was during the exam, the 10 minute break in the system did not work properly and so lost 10 minutes of available time to take a break. Which prevented me from completing the exam.

The ease of applying and steps to take to get there are very clearly laid out. My only complaint was that the time for my exam was listed in PMI HQ time and not my own so there was a little bit of panic, but I was helped by the chat/text function, and it was cleared up very quickly.

I recently completed my PMP examination online through Pearson VUE OnVUE. My scheduled exam time was 8:00 a.m. on July 6, 2026, and I began the check-in process at approximately 7:30 a.m.

After successfully completing the check-in process, my exam did not launch until approximately three hours later. During this time, I remained at my computer waiting for a proctor. As the delay continued, I became increasingly fatigued and uncomfortable, and I did not feel I could leave to use the washroom while waiting for the exam to begin.

When I was finally connected with a proctor, I explained that I had been waiting for almost three hours and asked whether I could quickly use the washroom before starting the exam. Unfortunately, my question was not acknowledged. Instead, I was simply told that the exam was about to be launched.

This lengthy delay and the inability to take a short break before the exam significantly affected my testing experience. It disrupted the pacing strategy I had carefully developed during my preparation and made the first section of the exam considerably more challenging than anticipated. I found the experience to be more of a test of endurance through discomfort than simply an assessment of my project management knowledge.

Thankfully, I passed the examination, and I am grateful for that outcome. My purpose in sharing this feedback is not to dispute my result, but rather to highlight an experience that I believe falls below the standard candidates should reasonably expect. I hope this feedback can help improve the experience for future examinees, particularly in situations involving significant delays before an exam begins.

I followed all the rules of the exam. During my breaks all I did was go to the bathroom and back. I got an email affirming I passed the test only for my scores to be canceled hours later. And no one could tell me what I did wrong.

The type of questions were formulated in the objective to make people fail.

My experience with PMI was very positive. The PMP application steps were clearly explained, and the instructions made the process straightforward. I appreciated how the platform guided me through each requirement without confusion. The review and approval timeline was reasonable, and communication was consistent. Overall, PMI is doing a great job maintaining a professional and organized certification process.
