I wrote my Project Management Professional (PMP) exam with confidence because the Project Management Institute (PMI) provided realistic, practical questions, strategies, and scenarios that closely reflected situations I have encountered throughout my professional career. This practical approach helped me relate my experience to the exam content and contributed significantly to my confidence during the exam.

I believe the content and online tools and learning is great. Really sets you up for success. However the downside would be customer service, it is frustrating that there is no direct number.

The study hall app is also horrendous and would not log on until my last month of subscription.

Material is not applicable to the construction industry. Many questions on the exam were not grammatically correct. Many of the questions had improper punctuation and structure.

I experienced a wonderful exam .

Been a very PM for 20+ years but never focused on the PMP exam; and now that I did, I am both glad and proud that I took the test! In addition, the testing experience was great at Pearson!

It was a great experience. They really did an amazing job.

I like the inclusion of agile practises in this latest PMP version, and the test scenarios test very practical applications of the material. However, I felt a lot of improvements could be made:
- The prep course review questions were very simplistic by comparison to the test. It was a big shock when I did the first practice test. Consider raising the difficulty and adding in some scenario questions to the prep material.
- The test itself included case study questions that were scattered throughout the test vs being kept together. This caused me to have to re-read the case material and could have been organized better.
- There is a lot of repetition in the test questions. Do you need 180 questions?

PMI is a great organization. It continues provide an abundance of knowledge to its members and prospective members.

The PMP exam was challenging but I felt well-prepared. I studied the PMBOK Guide thoroughly and complemented it with practice exams and mock tests, which helped me get comfortable with the situational question style and time management.

My advice to future candidates: understand the why behind each answer, not just the theory — that's what makes the difference on exam day. Earning the PMP is a proud milestone and I'm excited to apply these skills in my future projects.

Ease of applying for the exam and getting the result.

I recently completed the PMP examination and am pleased to have passed. I appreciate the opportunity to earn this certification and use the relevant resources provided by PMI, and am providing feedback regarding my online-proctored testing experience through Pearson VUE.

After completing the first section of the exam, I needed to use the restroom. Before leaving my workstation, I asked the proctor when the next scheduled break would occur. The proctor declined to answer. I then explained that I had an urgent need to use the restroom. I was informed that if I left my workstation or turned off my camera or microphone, I would lose my exam privileges. As a result, I remained at my workstation and continued the exam under significant physical discomfort and additional stress.

I am not submitting this message to dispute my exam result, as I successfully passed the examination. Rather, I would like to understand the official PMI policy regarding emergency restroom situations during online exams and whether the proctor's response was consistent with that policy.

If this experience was not consistent with policy, I hope my feedback can help improve the testing experience for future candidates.

Overall, the process from application to exam is east. Very professional. PMI really allows you to think in a more managerial capacity, which is ideal for anyone looking to further their academic qualifications.

The website and learning center are great, the practical understandings and knowledge is very applicable.

The test is a little weird and can be awkward, I feel there needs to be clearer instructions or walkthrough on what to expect and when breaks will happen.

It was so was so easy to navigate the process.

It was an overall great experience. I’m glad I took a chance on myself. So glad I used the resources of this platform. I highly recommend.

My sponsor and instructor and the workers that helped me through out was very helpful.

They were very swift with the PMP review process on the test. I like that they provided some insight on strong points and weak points in a test review. My only issues were some misspelled questions and some questions that needed some more information to clarify the assumptions made.
