Placidway failed me. Now I’m paying for trusting them.
Placid Way was initially supportive of me, checking in on me when I went to the dental implant surgeon in Cartagena Colombia. They even offered to lend me money when the surgeon was insisting on payment before the procedure since my credit card was blocked. I had some real issues with the implant specialist behavior as well as the implant itself plus all of the pain I experienced during the two procedures was excruciating. My implants did not feel comfortable from the get-go. After I got home, I sought help from a local implant specialist, who told me that my implants had been done so poorly that they would eventually fail. My crowns had been glued on using excessive glue was causing my gums to erode. They told me that my implant screws were not placed correctly and would not last. I contacted Guillermo at Placid Way. He did not respond to me, but forwarded my letter to the implant surgeon. The implant surgeon sent a letter denying my experience and recommending that I come back to the clinic for what she claimed were all repairable issues. There was no way that I was going back to that incompetent implant dentist!! After a year, my implants began to loosen and fail. Placid way reps have not contacted me nor supported me. I spent $10,000 on two dental implants and just over a year later I will need to have them removed. I am very disappointed and disgusted at their lack of communication and their lack of support. I wish I would have had these done locally.

Seamless Experience for a US Patient Getting a Hip Replacement in India
Getting a hip replacement in India as an American felt really daunting at first, but PlacidWay made the whole thing so simple. They helped me find an amazing hospital and a great doctor, and set up all my appointments. The communication was excellent the whole time, and the staff in India were incredibly kind and spoke perfect English. Most importantly, my surgery went great, and I saved a ton of money compared to getting it done in the US. If you're thinking about traveling for surgery, definitely use them.
