Did a below average job
Did a below average job, requested £20 cash for a small car full valet, when questioned about it suggested that £18 was the old price, despite it being displayed on the website and on the wall. Just wanted to remind you guys about this:
"If a seller demands a price higher than the displayed price, it's generally a breach of consumer protection laws in the UK. Consumers have rights to redress, including the right to unwind the contract, receive a discount, or claim damages, if misled about the price. It's also a criminal offense to provide misleading price information. "

Thanks for raising this with us. We’re really sorry to hear about your experience, as this isn’t how we operate or the standards we stand by. Our prices are always displayed clearly, both online and on-site, and we would never want a customer to feel misled. We’ll be investigating the cash request you mentioned with the team straight away. We pride ourselves on honest, professional service, which is why so many of our customers return regularly, and we’d like the chance to show you that same level of care. Please do get in touch directly via the contact form in our website with the date and car details so we can look into this properly and put it right for you. —David from Pitstop Car Valeting
