Einseitige Änderung der Vergütung
Leider wurde die Vergütung einseitig geändert, so dass ich ab sofort nur noch 60 % der einst abgemachten Vergütung erhalten soll. Das ist eine einseitige Änderung, die nicht akzeptiert werden kann. Meine Anfrage an pinecone wurde mit automatischen Textbausteinen beantwortet. Schade. Aber gut, ich kann meine knappe Freizeit auch mit sinnvolleren Aktivitäten gestalten und wenn es nur Fernsehen schauen ist ;-)) Man legt eben doch keinen Wert auf zufriedene Mitglieder. Und dann soll man noch Empfehlungen geben und neue Mitglieder werben- pah.

20+ years dealing with these people. Quality, frequency, and remuneration keep diminishing over the years. Don't waste your time, sign up with just about anyone else.

Terrible survey company
Terrible survey company, points get deleted after 12 months, but when you get 1 survey that you're not guaranteed to get points for, every 2 months (if you're lucky) and you can't redeem anything until you have at least 1000 points (you get 100 points a survey tops) then you'll never get enough points to actually get anything, whilst they get all your personal details, it's a win for them and a big lose for you (including the waste of your precious time) I have 600 points (100 was deleted) so I'll probably never get to 1000, time to cut my losses and delete my account. I certainly wouldn't recommend this company especially when I filled in a survey I then received an error message so missed out on my points and wasted my time, that was the last straw for me, I'm done.

Have been with the company for years and they send regular surveys. I too was hit but the recent change in policy and lost £200 but once I emailed they were quick to respond and restore the points.
Don't waste your time
Don't waste your time. New policy of deleting points after one year is ridiculous. It was bad enough when survey compensation dropped from $5 to $3, but now, no notification and points disappear. I've cashed in my points, and will NOT be continuing with the company. Also, I'm a little p***ed off, that the last $3 survey I took was about an hour of my time invested. No warning, just got sucked in. Won't make that mistake again!
Great company
Have been a member of Pinecone for many years and have always found them to be helpful and to quickly resolve any problems that I may encounter. Well worth a try.
Logged in to withdraw some of my points…
Logged in to withdraw some of my points to find they have removed 7,000 points as they say they have expired. This must be a new rule as it has never happened before and no communication to say this was changing. Very annoyed. UPDATE: After contacting Pinecone this situation has now been resolved to my satisfaction. However, I would like to warn other panel members that under the new terms, points will be removed after 1 year if not used.

I just tried it, it's a waste of time, scam!
It worked for a while
It worked for about a year, then points started to disappear, surveys gather lots of personal informations and redirects you to more - unrelated to the first - surveys, in which you give more personal informations. I know for sure that I “ qualified” for many, but ended up with “ sorry you don’t qualify “ after 10 minutes of giving more and more personal informations. One of the last fake surveys was an actual attempt at enrolling me in another survey company.
I cannot fathom people asking “ is this legitimate? “ - after all many scammers engage in shady practices that are actually “legal”
To be “ legitimate” doesn’t equate with trustworthiness
Scam, Don't Waste Your Time…
This used to be a decent site back in the day, offering products to try and surveys that paid a decent amount for the time offered. Now, however, it is complete trash. Long, over 20 minutes surveys that offer a $1 and long invasive screeners that are really just surveys but are seeking free information are all this site has to offer. The icing on the trash cake, however, is that they are now stealing your points, I logged in today and points have suddenly "expired". Did the payment they received expire? Of course, not. If you can't qualify for surveys, then how can you get to the minimum cash out? You can't. There is no logical reason why points would expire. This survey company has already been paid for the data from survey partners, stealing points from customers who trusted them shows how heinous and greedy they are. I am posting this so when they are sued like Drop, I can join the class action.
AVOID this survey company! SCAM
A loyal client completes a survey. Loyal client takes a screenshot of the "thank you for completing the survey" statement. But Pinecone does not reward the points. They have a different excuse each time for why you didnt get points..., even though you completed the survey.
OR they tell you that you did not do the survey... or they ignore your "contact us" when you ask for the points that you have earned and you have taken screenshots of the survey completed screen.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. So much effort. They avoid giving you the earned points at all cost!

I don't know why so many poor reviews. I have been with Pinecone Research for many years and I have not had any issues with payments. Yes, I do get screened out at times, but if you keep your details up to date, you should be fine. I recently had an issue and contacted Karen Scott, who replied and sorted my issue, quickly and efficiently. This is NOT a scam site as I have withdrawn many, many times with no issues. Only thing I would say, is keep an eye on your expiry dates,as you only have one year to use your points. Pinecone Research, keep up the good work and great customer response, absolutely 5 stars.

Pinecone research offers an opportunity to share our individual experiences, opinions, concerns, on a variety of products and topics. They offer an incentive per survey taken. It's not the highest paying but for just taking a survey and sharing experiences anything is better then nothing! Easy site to navigate and sign up is a breeze!
Waste of time, no payout
I’ve been with Pinecone for years, it been good but if there’s an issue they don’t care and have stopped replying.
I was doing a survey, spent 15 mins on it and was on the final pages, before you’ve completed the survey and I was timed out. I questioned it as I should be rewarded for my time seeing as I was allowed to complete the entire survey about the product.
I’ve sent several emails asking them to do the right thing and reward me for my time but they don’t care.
Also in all the years I’ve been with then the reward has never increased, despite the fact that the cost of everything else has gone up, which no doubt includes the wages of the people at Pinecone and the amount they charge for the companies for the surveys, but this isn’t fed back to people actually completing the surveys.

i dont take this one very seriously but when i see them 920-384 survey titles u know its the product one with the blue. just simply do those. others for the most part will screen u out
pinecone is one where u spend max 8 minutes on the survey. most of the time they screen you out early
the links they send to ur email they most often u do not qualify. forward rocket..rocketlaunch major hit or miss. NEVER do JD power associates. they only want their algorithims and wont even waste their time on u. major hit or misses
this is one where u make 5-10 a month MAX. so take it with a grain of salt. karen knows me well

Absolutely awful! This company used to be brilliant, but now they do not reward you for answering their surveys!
The Customer Service team are very dishonest when contacted too & make out that you have lied about participation!

SCAM
SCAM. Don't Trust this website , they Take all the Personal information and in the end they say you are Not eligible for the survey. Its highly questeniable. They should be BANNED in Germany under Datenschutze law. Don't Trust any Email from Katrin Schmidt.
Don't waste your valuable time
Gone downhill. Lots of emails that do take your time, just to be told you "don't qualify and goodbye". Then the even better part is the nasty emails from "Karen Scott" (who doesn't seem to exist) threatening to deactivate your eligibility if you don't participate more. Doesn't matter how many times you try to complete the surveys.
Oh and rewards are a joke.
